Honeymoon from hell
Ouch! Stu somehow appears and watches Toadie fall to the bottom of the stairs and quickly goes to his aid to see how he is but more importantly asks Sindi "what the hell is wrong with you?" Hey Stu we'd like to know that too!Janelle:Miracle of miracles, Toadie hasn't done a Darcy as he's able to get up from the hefty fall and Stu accompanies him back into their room. Sindi mutters to herself "no harm done" and they just look at her before Stu asks her if she knew what happened. Sindi replies at one minute she and Toadie were talking and the next he fell and is glad that Stu was there to help rescue him. Toad and Stu can't believe what she is saying or how she is acting.
Scarlet Bar
IZZY: No we're not. We're nothing alike. Nothing. You are a monster and a killer and I would never ever be anything like you.
School
Janae spots Karl arriving in the corridor and after reprimanding her for being personal in school grounds, he tells her that he has a video she can borrow on cosmetic surgery after the footy game has finished. Janae thanks him and comments that she isn't squeamish either before leaving. Susan pops out to the corridor now to enquire if he's heard form Izzy. Karl replies that he hasn't and couldn't care two monkeys about her anyway, which Susan is sceptical about given how close they were until recently and adds that he must be felling a sense of lost.
KARL: Sense of lost? Gee for a lying, manipulative woman who virtually destroyed my entire world...I don't think so.
Susan sarcastically comments that you won't get any argument from her! She also adds that he can grieve for Izzy leaving his life but Karl would rather just forget that she even existed.
Honeymoon from hell
Toadie wants to call for help but Stu would rather talk first, so he gently guides her to the bed and asks her again what happened with Toadie. Sindi says that one-minute they were talking and the next minute he tripped and fell. Stu tells her that isn't what happened because he saw her push him and asks why. Sindi says she had to, to protect them because Toadie was going to ruin their marriage and asks if he is angry at her. Stu replies no, and neither is Toadie before asking if there is any other times she's done things to protect them. Sindi tells him about advice her grandmother gave her - sometimes you've got to give fate a hand to make sure things go your way - and that granny was right. Cue flashbacks to Sindi going after Trent in the car.Janelle:Sindi now becomes hysterical about the things she has done to ensure they lived their lives like she had planned. She asks if he understands, he does, and tells him to fix it so that it will be all right.
Bush
Paul spoke too soon to Max, as a police car with its sirens and lights on follows Paul who shows no signs of stopping.
Honeymoon from hell
Outside on the balcony, Stu laments on what a honeymoon this has been before telling Toadie that he was right all along, and asks Toadie what do they do now. Toadie replies that they'll have to inform the authorities so that Sindi can be assessed, as it is too big for them to handle. Stu can't believe what his wife has done and adds that the police will have to be involved too. Toadie wonders if Steiger can help and Stu thinks so once he is told but isn't keen on the idea of her facing prosecution. Toadie comments that it might not get to that because she might not be fit to plead. Stu asks Toadie to start making his calls and he does so as Stu heads inside...but quickly rushes out to tell Toadie that Sindi has gone!Janelle:They take off to find her and find her in the car trying to get it going. Stu opens the door and tells her she made a mistake but they can repair it. Sindi announces that he'd be better off without her but Stu tells her to stay so they can sort it out together.
SINDI: (quite hysterical) But I've done this before...haven't I? Stu? (more tears) There are all these memories in my head (more tears). Oh god I pushed Kelly Weaver down the stairs. I was such a terrible person. I'm so bad, how can you stand to be with me?
As Sindi completely breaks down, Stu leads her out of the car and before comforting her, tells her that somehow it will all be alright and they can make a life together that they promised they would.
Bush
The police continue to pursue Paul but the man is smart and he loses them by pulling into side road and wonders where Izzy is!
Scarlet Bar
Max asks Steph if he should let the rest of the family know Izzy is missing but Steph tells him not too, just yet. Karl calls in again to talk about the footy but Max tells him that Paul phoned because he is out looking for Izzy and adds that he doesn't really believe Paul is looking for her but just deflecting attention from himself. Steph doesn't agree with that assumption though and reminds them that Izzy disappearing is common and that perhaps Paul is telling the truth. Max reminds Steph that he thinks Izzy has something over Paul, which he has told the police, an adds that if there is any justice then Paul will rot in hell in his jail cell!
Bush
Paul slowly drives along and at a crossroad he has to decide between heading to Newholme or Scarlet Bird Retreat...and decides to head for the birdies.
School
The footy is finished and after Karl and Janae discuss the injuries a player sustained in the game, he presses play on the video for her to watch...video finished and Janae is still going ahead with cosmetic surgery and the sooner the better! Karl adds that she'll also face regular surgery to maintain her "new image" and asks how she can afford to do so. She tells him about winning the money on Stupid Aussies. Karl admits that she is a very attractive girl and no, he isn't lying either. Janae tells him that she is doing it so she can fell good about herself and go and do something special with her life, not what her mum may think.
Honeymoon from hell
The relevant authorities have been to see Sindi and with Toadie offering Stu farewell handshake, Stu and Sindi get into a car and leave. This scene is done with no words audible, just Pete Murray's "Please" being played.
The General Store
Susan gives Karl a bit of a ribbing over him having take away food before asking how his day went. Without actually mentioning Janae's name, he moans to Susan that Janae needs her head read for wanting cosmetic surgery and he can't convince her otherwise. Susan tells him that is what it is just the world today and adds that is what counsellor means - giving advice and watching them ignore it because ultimately the person has to make a choice regardless of the outcome. Karl admits that she is probably right before adding that he is getting too involved too.
No. 26
Janae writes in her diary that Karl is better than Mike or any other (male) person she's know because he respects her, listens and shows concern about what happens to her. She adds that he makes her feel like a woman and not a stupid little schoolgirl.
No. 30
Toadie is back in Ramsay Street and calls Susan to bring her up to speed on what happened with Sindi. Stu walks in and over a beer, he tells Toadie that he's called Sindi's parents, and no they don't live in Finland but in Anson's Corner, to tell them about their daughter. Turns out Toadie never met her parents when they were going out and had no idea they lived nearby, but wants to know what they said. Stu tells him that apparently in her youth, Sindi spent time in a private psychiatric hospital because for acute paranoid delusions with a tendency for violent behaviour. Like the rest of us, Toadie is shocked at this news but tells Stu that he is there for him all the way, regardless of what tomorrow may bring.
Scarlet Bird Retreat
Paul describes Izzy to a member of staff but she cites confidentiality for not saying if she is there or not but Izzy gives the game away by her awful singing! He looks into a room and spots her.
