House of Trouser
Sindi tells Stuart she just saw Toadie leave with Rocco and he's in trouble. Stuart tells he isn't they just went to look at some apartments. Sindi tells Stuart that Rocco knows they are together and he's in danger. Sindi and Stu leave to look for Toadie.

Scullys
Susan is telling Lyn and Lil that Izzy said she could just snap her fingers and Karl would come running. Susan tells the girls she told Izzy to have him. Lil says she would have slapped her and Susan agrees that next time she might especially since she is taking self defense classes and she may learn a few new moves. The Lyn and Lil ask why they weren't told about these classes. Susan says they start tonight and they are about self-confidence and she didn't think they needed empowering. Lyn says it doesn't hurt to know how to look after yourself and she wants to go. Lil agrees. Susan tells them it starts tonight, 8pm at the school. They all agree to go. Susan says she's got to go to the uniform shop and pick up a uniform for Scott. Lil comments about everything Susan is doing for Scott and Susan says they'll see it'll be worth the effort. Lyn pretends to do karate moves "You do realise we are going to end up like Charlie's Angels you know... maybe not"

LIL: Any excuse for a girl's night out.

Outside the Coffee Shop
Scott is sitting staring at a plate of salad. Susan comes over and tells him she's got a uniform for him. Scott tells her he's been thinking and he doesn't think he can go to school, as he's not like everyone else. Susan reassures him that it's ok to be nervous and everyone gets nervous when they do new things. Scott tells Susan about his picnic with Serena and how he thought it was going well until Stu and Jack turned up and she was embarrassed to be seen with him. Susan tells Scott that maybe Serena isn't the right girl for him. Scott tells her she is, they like eachother but she wants me to be normal. Susan tells Scott normal is just another word for dull and boring and he is funny, smart and creative and just different enough to be interesting. Scott says it's not going to help him at school and it' not what Serena wants.

SUSAN: OK, if you really believe that, what do you think you can do about it?
SCOTT: Eat Salad?

Susan looks confused and Scott tells her if he eats the salad hiss brain should become normal. He asks Susan to wish him luck. He holds his nose and puts a fork full of salad in and begins to chew. He quickly spits it out and takes a drink. Scott says he can't do it, he's never been normal and he's never going to be.

Bishops
Serena is talking to the baby chick saying she knows she's a bad person. Lil comes in and asks Serena what's wrong. Serena says nothing but eventually tells Lil its Scott. She thought they'd have fun and it'd be ok but he called my a cake taker. Lil laughs and Serena tells her it's serious, she's not insensitive but he deserved it. Lil says Scott is immature and it's not surprising considering his upbringing. She tells Serena Scott's family live in a caravan. Serena says it doesn't matter he has his good points like he's funny, smart and artistic. Lil asks Serena why she is defending him and Scott isn't normal. Serena says he is normal, sort of. Lil walks off telling Serena that she has nothing in common with Scott and he's not the boy for her.

Scullys
Lou comes over and Lyn hugs him saying it's good to see him and she's glad he came over as she wants to clear the air. Lyn says they should have realised what he was going through and got him to a doctor. Lou assures Lyn that Karl has said everything is fine and being that close to death changes a person. Lou tells Lyn he's going to sell both his houses, pay back his debts and start again. Lyn tells Lou if he needs help with anything to let her know.

Lou: Do you mean that?
LYN: Of course I do
LOU: Well, I wonder how you would feel if I told you I want to renew my relationship with Valda. Would you give me your support then?

Ramsay Street
Stu and Sindi are back and Connor asks them if they checked the warehouse, Rocco's garage etc... Sindi tells the boys Rocco wouldn't do anything top hurt Toadie. He just likes to joke around and she wouldn't be with anyone who is dangerous. Connor says that Rocco caught him messing around with his daughter and caught Toadie messing around with his girl. Sindi says she's not his girl but Stuart reminds her that Rocco didn't want to break - up with her and now he's jealous. Sindi tells them Rocco isn't a thug, he a business man who likes people to think he's a big Mafia boss. They notice Scott coming and agree not to mention anything in front of him as they don't want to worry him.

Scullys
Lou is trying to convince Lyn that he and Valda make a great team. Lyn says that when Lou passed over Valda for Trixie it broke Valda's heart. Lou says he realizes he made a mistake and when he was out in the bush he kept seeing Valda and the life he could have had. Lyn says she can't speak for Valda but she was really hurt and Lyn's worried Lou is just afraid of being alone. Lyn tells Lou she won't help him.

Bishops
Lil is rushing around and David asks her what she's doing. Lil says she's going out to a self-defense class. Lyn and Susan walk in and tell David they are taking Lil away to the self-defense class. David says he's known about it for ages. Lil holds up a T-shirt, pants and shoes and asks if the outfit is ok to wear. Lyn says she'll win the fashion stakes. Lil goes to get changed and Lyn and Susan go to wait in the car. David asks Serena if he's being unreasonable expecting Lil to spend more time with him and less with the girls. Serena says her mum's just having some fun.

School
At the self-defense class the instructor introduces himself as Allan Steiger, police officer by day, self-defense instructor by night. He tells the class they have a male instructor as woman usually have male attackers. Lyn and Lil start giggling and whispering about the instructor.

Bishops
Serena is making some artwork. David keeps looking at his watch and Serena tells him to stop it as Lil said she'd be two hours. David comments that she's making a collague like Scott made. Serena says Scott has talent, he made a picture within a picture and she just doesn't see things like that. David ask Serena if she likes Scott. Serena says they don't have anything in common and there is nothing happening between Scott and there never will be.

House of Trouser
Connor has been on the phone to Tim and Stu to the police Stuart says as Toadie is a grown man and there are no signs of foul play there is nothing they can do. Sindi says the police are right and Rocco is a gentleman. Stuart decides he's going to Rocco's and camp outside his flat. Sindi says she's coming with him. Stuart tells her he doesn't want her to but she says she will just follow him in her car. Stuart gives in.

School
In the self-defence class the woman are practicing their moves. The instructor asks Lil to assist him with a move. He faces her to the group, puts his arm around her and teaches her how to get out of it. He then calls Susan to do the same thing. Susan follows the instructions and stamps on his foot and thrusts her elbow into his chest and winds him.

Bishops
David hears the girls giggling outside. He looks out the window and then rushes to the couch and pretends he's doing the crossword. When they come inside David's says "Home already?" Lil says she feels so empowered and the start joking and giggling about the instructor and what a good body he had. David doesn't look amused.

Outside Rocco's flat
Stuart and Sindi are waiting in the car. Sindi is asleep. Stuart sees Rocco come out and he wakes Sindi up. Stu runs over to Rocco wanting to know what he's done with Toadie, as he didn't come home last night. Rocco says he's probably just gone to a club. He had a chat to Toadie and then he left. Stuart starts yelling at Rocco. Sindi tells Stu that she needs to have a quiet word with Rocco.

Street
Serena is outside getting the mail. She sees Scott come out of No 30 in his school uniform. She watches as he trips over. He gets up and tries to clean himself off but makes the mark worse. Scott grabs the hose and tries to wash his shirt while he's still wearing it.

School
Scott looks around nervously. He sees kids at their lockers and other playing with a football. Scott reassures himself he can do that. Susan comes over and tells Scott to just be himself. She brings him into the class and introduces him to the other students.

SCOTT: Hi dudes.
SUSAN: I know you'll all make him feel very welcome. It's a pleasure to have you here.
SCOTT: No dramas Suz, it's a pleasure to be on board.

The students laugh.

SUSAN: We might go with Mrs. Kennedy at school OK?
SCOTT: Oh right, of course.

Susan tells Scott to take a seat.

SCOTT: Sure where shall I take it?

Susan tells him to sit down. Scott walks over to a chair and goes to sit down but falls off. The class laughs

Outside Rocco's flat
Rocco tells Sindi Toadie is a friend of his. Sindi pleads with him to tell her what Toadie is, then asks if he's hurt hi, Rocco says yes. Not physically but he was hurt by what I told him. Rocco tells Sindi he told Toadie about her, where he met her and what she was employed as.

SINDI: How could you?
ROCCO: I suspect it was too much for Rebecchi, don't you?
