Recap
Sindi breaking up with Rocco.
Harold telling Lou that Rocco was asking after him.
Someone taking pictures of Toadie and Sindi kissing.
Lassiter's car park
One of Rocco's henchmen brings Rocco the surveillance photos he took of Toadie and Sindi. Rocco looks at them and gets tears in his eyes. "It's time to do to Rebecchi what we did to that Irish," he growls.
Bishops
David comes home, annoyed with Lil because she forgot to come to lunch with him to meet a potential employer. She was "gasbagging with the giggle sisters" instead. Lil apologises and David doesn't stay mad for long. He tells her they offered him the job but he knocked it back seeing as Toadie's job pays better. Serena walks out and looks a little worried that her parents are home.
Lou's Hospital Room
Lou feels better that he received a letter from John and Lolly, telling him where they're living now. Karl says that Lou can go home that evening seeing as he's recovered so well. Harold takes a sly dig at Karl about his date the other night, calling her a firecracker and asking if he set her off! He says sorry to Karl almost immediately, "these things just pop out of my mouth."
Lou suddenly remembers that it's his daughter, Lauren's, birthday and he was going to get her something. Harold offers to pick something up and post it to her making Lou feel better. When Harold goes, Lou opens a card he received in the mail. It's from Rocco, looking forward to catching up. Lou looks worried.
Coffee Shop
Scott is bugging the hell out of Izzy trying to decide what to order. He finally decides on some sandwiches, a tomato sauce sandwich being one of them. Izzy stalks off to make them. Harold barges in and accidentally knocks the drink out of Scott's hand. He says sorry and tells him to grab a cloth from behind the counter, whilst he grabs some money from the till before leaving. Izzy walks out of the kitchen just in time to see Scott loitering. She gets angry, sees the till and demands he "hand it over". Scott's confused.
Ramsay Street
'For Sale' signs go up out the front of Lou's house and number thirty.
Number 30
Jack's over for the day and Stu is moaning to him about how Toadie acts when Sindi is around. Cue Sindi and Toadie arriving home. Toadie asks if Stu's seen the for sale sign out the front and suggests they buy the house together, then in an obviously rehearsed spiel that he and Sindi have devised, Sindi says she can pitch in as well seeing as she'll be moving in soon. Stu looks less than impressed.
Coffee Shop
Scott is protesting his innocence to Izzy but she doesn't believe him. He has emptied out all his pockets and Izzy says he probably shoved the money down his pants. Not a good thing to say to Scott... he just pulls down his dacks to prove he hasn't. Susan walks in looking startled, wanting to know what's going on. Scott tells her that Izzy is accusing him of stealing and she is immediately on Scott's side. Susan gets him to leave with her and tells Izzy she'll be having words with Harold about her treatment of him.
Susan's
Susan is making a picnic lunch for Scott to take to Serena's. She says she hopes she didn't embarrass him before but Scott just laughs, "I dropped my dacks, nothing embarrasses me!" He also finds it funny that Susan doesn't like Izzy and calls her a "stuck-up moll, she thinks she's God's gift." Susan says he shouldn't say that about anyone, but isn't too stern in her tone of voice. She hands over the lunch to him and he goes on his merry way, "thanks Suse, you're tops!"
Bishops
David is pondering on getting the street to enter the 'Best Street' competition he just saw an ad for in the paper. Serena answers the door to Scott and tries to get out of there before her parents see who it is. Scott makes himself known though and tells them they're off on a picnic. David and Lil argue over whether they're on a date or not. David thinks they are, Lil thinks they're not.
Lou's Hospital Room
Rocco comes to visit Lou, scaring the crappola out of him. Rocco demands his money and Lou squirms his way out of it by offering his car to Rocco for this month's payment. Rocco begrudgingly takes it, but he's none too pleased.
Park
Serena is having a great time on her non-date with Scott. That is until she sees Stu and Jack heading her way and then she acts very sedately. The two boys are amused to see them together even though Serena protests that she just bumped into Scott. They say to Scott he can kick the footy around with them if he wants and leave. Scott gets mad that Serena was acting so weirdly and packs up the picnic stuff. "I wouldn't want to cramp your style, your highness." He storms off, pulling the blanket from out underneath Serena on his way.
Coffee Shop
Karl gets a coffee from Izzy and bumps into Susan on the way out. They talk about Libby. Karl didn't know that she was offered a promotion, "we haven't spoken in a couple of days." Susan looks surprised.
Izzy says to Susan that she's surprised she's in there again. Susan says she's not going to avoid coming in, "I've been coming here for years." They snitch and snipe at one another over the Scott issue, with Izzy saying Susan is gullible and Susan saying Izzy isn't the most trustworthy person on earth. Harold brings it to a halt though when he tells Izzy that he took the money out to buy something. Izzy's tirade comes to an end, but she won't offer Susan an apology, she just says she'll say sorry to Scott when she sees him next.
IZZY: Actually, I know what this is about. You blame me for Karl leaving you!
SUSAN: Oh no, Isabelle. Surprisingly enough our lives don't revolve entirely around you.
IZZY: You hate me because you know I could have him like that. (She snaps her fingers)
SUSAN: Oh please, snap away. If he comes running, good luck to you. I'm finished with him.
Susan 1. Izzy 0.
Random Street
Rocco's limo pulls up alongside Sindi jogging. He asks her to jump in the limo for a minute. She gets in, knowing that he won't take no for an answer. Rocco makes some last ditch efforts to get her back but she tells him that she's moved on. He angrily shows her the pictures of her and Toadie, "I don't like it when people who work for me steal what's mine." Sindi is astounded and jumps out, telling him to leave her alone. He rips up one of the photos and throws it out the window. "This thing is over!" he yells. "Now for part two." The limo speeds off and Sindi realises where he's going. "Toadie!" She sprints off after the car.
Bishops
David tries in vain to get Susan and Lil to stop gossiping about Izzy by saying that there's a good band at the jazz club he and Lil should check out. Lil says she can't though, that's her book club night with the girls, and gets back to chatting. Serena comes in sulking, calling Scott a "stupid bogan" when Susan asks how her date with him went. Lil tells Susan they weren't on a date but Susan says that's the impression she got from Scott.
Hospital
Karl is on the phone to Libby. She's a bit distant with him though, not really giving detailed answers to all of his questions. Libby noncommittally says she loves him too when he says it to her, then tells him she has to go and hangs up. Karl looks sad.
Karl goes into Lou's room while he's packing the rest of his bag to go home. He tells him to rest up, and then says he can sympathize with him on having to start all over again. "You'll bounce back, Lou. You're the Derryn Hinch of Ramsay Street." Lou says it's not the money, and he confides in Karl that he saw Valda in his dreams. "I think I might have made a terrible mistake and it's going to cost me everything I've got." Karl says it's never too late and Lou says he hopes not.
Number 30
Jack and Stu come back from playing footy, with Stu still going on about Sindi. He says he's not sure of investing in the house if she's going to be a part of it. Toadie overhears this, "I'm not going to break up with Sindi just because she's not your idea of a perfect woman." Jack scoffs, "Stu's idea of a perfect woman is anyone that'll take him!" He takes Stu's stony silence as a good cue to leave.
There's a knock at the door. Toadie thinks it's the real estate agent come to take photos of the house, but it's Rocco. He's all jovial and happy and asks Toadie to come with him for a little drive to check out some property for him. He wants his lawyer's opinion on it. He agrees and makes a move to go with him. Stu grabs his arm before he goes and asks if Rocco would have any clue about him and Sindi. Toadie laughs and says that Stu's too suspicious of everyone lately. He leaves and Stu looks worried.
Ramsay Street
Toadie happily gets in the waiting limo, unaware of just how much trouble he's in. The limo speeds off just as Sindi runs breathlessly into the street. She yells out after it, "ROCCO!" Then whimpers, "Toadie..."
