Pam is chuffed that Doug has got a job - he tells her it's a building manager and he starts tomorrow.

Martins (No.32)
Rick and Debbie are discussing the Brad/Ally situation - they don't know how to break the news to him. Debbie suggests that she talks to Ally and gets her to tell Brad herself.

No.24
Helen is getting some paintings ready for an exhibition. She gives Hannah a present from Lucy - it's a rock from Uluru. Hannah is pleased.

Willises
Gaby comes home and is pleased to see Pam is resting easy at last. Pam explains that Doug has got a job and Gaby is very excited. Pam says that Gaby can cut back on her extra board now and Doug looks a bit horrified!

Martins (No.32)
Hannah rushes in to show them her Uluru rock. Rick tells her that it's bad luck to take away a piece of the rock - it's an ancient Aboriginal site and is protected by curses and spirits. Julie tells Rick that it's just superstitious nonsense but he says he's not joking!

Willises, the following morning
The Willises are having breakfast and Doug is preparing to go to "work".

Helen pops round for her babysitting shift and Pam does not look pleased!

Martins (No.32)
Julie can't find her address book and Hannah says it's probably because of her rock(!) Debbie starts to dry her hair and the hair-dryer explodes.

HANNAH: You shouldn't have made fun of the rock!

Willises
Pam and Helen are playing cards. She thinks Helen could have a good career as a prison officer(!)

Martins (No.32)
Holly has wrecked Hannah's assignment - the rock strikes again! Julie is on the phone making an appointment to see the doctor. She looks a bit concerned.

School
Debbie catches up with Ally and talks to her about Brad. She tries to get her to tell Brad her real age, but Ally doesn't want to.

Inside the school, Debbie, Rick and another bloke talk about the school play. Rick nips off home to get his chemistry book.

The Office
Julie has come to see Phil, but he's not in yet. She chats to Gaby about Pam's health and the dress-making classes. Julie says she might enroll but Gaby puts her off in horror.

Doctor's Surgery
Pam's normal doctor is off sick today, so she has to see the locum. Julie comes in and bumps straight into her! Pam somehow guesses that Julie is having a pregnancy test.

Park
Doug is hanging out reading the paper and hides in a bush when Rick passes.

Doctor's Surgery
Julie has had her test and they tell her to come back this afternoon.

School
Ally is worried that Wayne will recognise her and wants to avoid his PE class. Her brother Shaun agrees to help her, but he's not impressed that she's cutting classes to meet up with Brad.

Willises
Helen is looking after Pam again when Gaby comes home to take over the afternoon shift. Pam tries to get up but Gaby forces her back down.

Coffee Shop
A bloke from school (Craig Slater, Ally's older brother) is banging on to Rick about being in the school play and taunting Rick about not having any ambition. Debbie comes in an asks Craig to have a word to Ally about dating Brad Willis. Craig says there's nothing he can do - she'd just laugh in her face. He looks a bit worried, but says he doesn't think even Brad could put up with Ally!

Julie comes round to tell Helen that she thinks she's pregnant - just when she'd changed her mind about having a baby. She thinks Phil will be furious, but Helen tell sher to wait for the result first.

Willises
Pam is irritating Gaby by chatting when she's trying to work. Gaby tells her to watch TV. Pam says she just wants a bit of conversation and tells Gaby that Julie is pregnant.

Doug comes in and tells them the job is going quite well.

Martins (No.32)
Julie is distracted while Hannah tells her some story about school. Hannah is now totally convinced that the rock is cursed.

Julie rings the surgery for her test results. The doctor is distracted by a screaming mother and baby and accidentally takes out test results for a Mrs J Martinez. She tells Julie the result is positive.

JULIE:(shocked) Thank you.
