Nick tells Helen that he's had detention for cheating, only he didn't cheat. He says that Matt tried to help him - he didn't want the help, but they got caught. But he didn't dob Matt in to Mr Muir - that's the way things are among school kids. He says he won't forget what Matt did though.

Matt has cleaned the house in the hope of sweetening Hilary up! Hilary comes in in a foul mood and tells them that she's sacked Des as her accountant. Matt realises that this isn't a good time to tell her about the cheating!
Paul and Gail's
Paul and Gail are over returning the children. Mike heads off down the jazz club. Des says you have to be firm with children and take charge. Just then, Jamie throws some food at him.
Hilary is asking Helen for the name of her accountant. Helen says that Des was right about the tax, but Hilary insists that she's already paid tax on the money once.
Nick comes in and sees Hilary there. He immediately starts telling her not to have a go at him about the cheating. Hilary is bemused.
Hilary is now home and is berating Matt about the cheating. She's even more angry that she had to hear about the cheating from Nick. She tells Matt that she's deeply disappointed in him.
Bronwyn comes round to see Mike. Sharon runs in too demanding to talk to Mike about the cheating. She feels that Mike acted unfairly. Bronwyn says that Mike didn't do anything wrong - Mike did what he had to do.
Jane suddenly asks Bronwyn if her feelings for Mike are clouding her judgement. She goes on to say that Bronwyn is being unfair to Henry. Bronwyn takes offence and says that Jane is no better - she dumped Mike for Des! Bronwyn admits that she does like Mike a lot, and it's no-one's business but hers.
Mike comes in to see Bronwyn on his way home. She relates to him what happened between her and Jane. Mike says that Jane shouldn't be sticking her nose in. Bronwyn says that maybe Jane has got a point - she is doing the wrong thing by Henry.
The phone rings, and it's Henry! (finally!!) She asks him why he hasn't rung her. He tells her he's coming home tomorrow.
Sharon is sneaking out to see a movie with Nick but Hilary catches her. Hilary bans her from going because she thinks Nick is a bad influence! Sharon is not pleased.

Paul and Gail come in in the middle of the argument. Helen tells Hilary that she's as big a cheat as she thinks Nick is given her tax return. Paul tells Hilary to apologise to Helen for saying that she's doing a bad job bringing up Nick. Hilary refuses. She says she'll withdraw the capital she has invested in the Robinson Corporation.
