Paul and Gail's house
Des has come to pick up Jamie from Bronwyn and Henry. They chat about finding the money for the repairs to the ceiling and the wiring. Des tells them what happened with Joe and now he's offered Des his undying gratitutde. Des drops into conversation that he and Jamie are going to the UK at Easter because Eileen (his mother) is getting married.
Bishops
Kerry comes out of her room wearing a nice dress. Glenn picks her up, much to Scott's surprise. Harold says he wants Kerry home at an early hour(!)
Des's
Mike and Jenny are washing up and getting on well. When Jenny goes to get a jumper, Des warns Mike not to let his emotions run away with him.
Joe comes round with a box of beer to repay Des for all the beers he's given him in the past!
Paul and Gail's house
Nick is still looking for a job. Bronwyn tells him to go back to school - learning is never a waste. Henry looks in the paper and sees an advert for a get-rich-quick company - selling encyclopedias. He becomes very enthusiastic and says that he and Nick should try it. They shake hands on the deal.
Bishops
Harold is ranting that Kerry came in very late. She tells Scott that she had a great time and tells Harold to shut up. She says it might be something real with Glenn but Harold is not impressed and goes off to the Coffee Shop.
When Harold has gone, Kerry tells Scott that she could get very serious about Glenn - she's never known anyone like him before.
Des's
Des mentions that Jamie had a restless night and Joe says he would have been glad to help out, even at 4am(!) He offers Des a lift to work as Mike needs the car to take Jenny to her physiotherapy.
A road
Henry and Nick are dressed in suits and have briefcases full of encyclopedias. Henry is confident that he'll sell loads. He chooses a house with kids toys in the front garden - kids need knowledge(!)
At the first door, a woman shuts the door in their faces(!)
Outside the Coffee Shop
Kerry meets Glenn who's just driven up. She suggests that they meet for lunch but he's not keen - he tells her that he's got other plans. He says she's an attractive lady but he doesn't want any ties - he's out of town a lot.
Bishops
Kerry asks Harold for some advice. He sees that she looks upset and sits her down. She tells him what happened with Glenn - that he was just using her. Harold says now she knows how Joe felt. Kerry says she's a free agent. Harold says she's just like Glenn - and she's played with Joe's affections just like Glenn played with hers. Harold suggests that she apologises to Joe and Kerry says she'll give it a try.
Paul and Gail's house
Joe is repairing the ceiling and Bronwyn invites him and Kerry over for a meal (but not rabbit stew). Joe tells her that Kerry has dumped him. He says that they see things differently and doesn't think there's any chance of reconciliation.
A house
Henry and Nick are having cordial with a nice old lady. They humour her ramblings in the hope of getting a sale. But the lady says she can't afford them. The lady tells them to pop back any time for a chat though(!)
A road
Henry is disheartened by the lack of sales but Nick encourages him to keep trying.
Mangels
Joe opens the door to Kerry. He reluctantly lets her in. Kerry tells him that she's come to apologise - she didn't realise how much it hurt to be thrown over for a casual relationship. She wants them to make a fresh start. But Joe tells her she's got one hell of a nerve. He looks very upset - he tells her she thought she was a great sheila but he won't play second fiddle to other men. He tells her they're not on the same wavelength. He is almost in tears and asks her to leave.
