Number 32 (garden)
When they surface after their pash, both Nicolette and Kiri seem very surprised at it happening but now it's time for them to "figure out what it meant."
The Waterhole
After Aaron delivers the wrong drinks to the Rodwell family, Wendy comments about him being off his game and asks if everything is okay? He quickly replies that he is fine, he simply needs a coffee before leaving them to it.
Sadie is surprised it's a water her mum is drinking, remarking that tequila is usually more her drink of choice, which earns her a minor rebuff from her dad. Wendy reassures both of them that her party days are over, studying now is her main focus and as if to reinforce that, leaves the pair of them to get a bit of studying done before starting work.
Ramsay Street
As they stop outside #32, Nicolette seems a bit down after Kiri turns down her offer of having drinks later but she cites its been a big day as her rationale for turning the offer down.
In the background, a happy Byron (and Sadie) watch on as Kiri and Nicolette hug each other before parting ways.
Number 22
Toadie is getting nowhere with Rhett on the phone trying to rent out the nursery and hangs up frustrated just as Nell arrives. She is as down as her dad is because Dex isn't returning her texts and can tell that he/JJ "have been weird since Luna Park."
NELL: I think they are avoiding me.
Nell isn't sure what she has done wrong, so Toadie points out that means she's done nothing wrong, suggesting instead it's probably something they've got going on which they've not told her about. Toadie though does seem surprised Dex hasn't responded [by text] and suggests she actually asks him as its "better than wondering."
Number 30
There is still tension between the brothers as a very happy Cara announces the reveal of the renovated sunroom. The boys play along and head out into the sunroom and other than a load of fairy lights, there doesn't seem to be that much of a difference… well bar a rooster that Cara has carved!!! "He's… unique," is Remi's polite description of 'Rupert' and even the boys have fake smiles on their faces!
Number 32 (garden, next day)
After being hand- delivered one of Haz's coffees by Sadie, Kiri and Byron start chatting about the vineyard and if the deal has "gone south." Kiri is hoping Leo has calmed down so they can talk about it more and even after Byron admits that he "really messed things up" she gets why he did what he did.
It isn't long before chat gets round to Kiri/Nicolette and Byron thinks the pair should reunite but is told that "Nic and I need to figure this out by ourselves."
When Kiri leaves to head indoors, Sadie comments on how desperate Byron seems for the pair of them to reunite. He really wants things "to work out for them"… "and maybe me too."
Eden Hills Uni
Parker interrupts Wendy's studying to check that things are "all good" since Wendy hasn't spoken to them post- party. "Yeah, we're totally fine," Wendy replies with and explains she's been busy with coursework and getting her mentorship application in. Parker thinks this is "a façade" and simply wants Wendy "to be you" and if she does that for her application, things will work out.
Erinsborough High School
JJ is back at school and Nell welcomes him back when she catches up with him at the lockers. After the small talk, Nell asks if he's seen Dex and he hasn't since they left home… but of course, who catches the pair talking when he too arrives at the locker area - Dex! He doesn't look impressed and quickly heads away from the pair, well at least before Nell notices him.
Number 24
After hearing about the pash, Aaron is more than happy to babysit and let Nicolette go talk to Kiri. She seeks out his opinion on whether they should reunite or not, and while its "not something for me to say" he does add "if you have a chance, you should take it," and a very nervous Nicolette can't get out of the house quick enough!
Eden Hills Uni
Andrew took a hunch and has joined Wendy for lunch as he was right, she was eating alone. He tries to tell her that she can study and have fun, it doesn't need to be "one or the other" and he has barely said that when Parker comes over to check him out! After the intro's, Parker invites the pair out for post- class drinks, and with a bit of encouragement from Andrew (because he is going to go), Wendy is also agrees to go along.
PARKER: We can finally see what was so shameful about this one that you had to keep him hidden!
After Parker returns to her own table, Wendy gives Andrew an 'out' but he wants to hang out with her Uni mates "unless you don't want me there?" he clarifies. It wasn't that, which is leaving Wendy hesitant, it was the surprise that he is up for it!
ANDREW: Surely Wild Wendy remembers Rowdy Rodders?!
She does and it looks like the pair of them are going for drinks!
Number 32 (garden)
Both Kiri and Nicolette are nervous when they meet up with each other. Nicolette begins by saying how much she enjoyed yesterday, especially their kiss (Kiri did too!) because "it felt more than just nostalgia" and asks Kiri what she is thinking? Kiri is worried that history will repeat itself (Nicolette gets that) and confesses that her presence was "a big part of the reason I came back." That last bit puts a smile on Nicolette's face and she nervously asks "what does this mean?" and it is that Kiri would "like to try again" as long as Nicolette is "up for it." As the saying goes, action is louder than words, so rather than replying to Kiri, Nicolette leans in and kisses her.
Erinsborough High School
JJ catches his passing brother to question why he walked past him [and Nell earlier] especially as Nell was asking after him. Dex doesn't believe his brother and in the background, Nell spotted that the brothers are together and walks towards them. She wants to know they they're "both acting so weird" and when her question is met with silence, Nell wants to know what it is she has done! Both reassure Nell that it isn't her, its "dumb brother stuff."
NELL: Do me a favour… get over it and start being my fun friends again.
Her plea though is met by silence from the brothers and so a very frustrated Nell walks away from them.
JJ: Dude, we've got to act more normal or she's gonna figure out what's going on.
DEX: I am acting normal. It's you who can't leave her alone.
Harolds café (rear)
Kiri has brought along Nicolette to her coffee date with the VM's. Nicolette is extremely nervous about this and when they get to the table, blurts out that they've probably "heard horror stories about me" but then quickly tries to reassure them that she is "not that bad" before then adding that they should get to know each other because they are the "queer mums on Ramsay Street!"
NICOLETTE: Like, we could have, like, a queer mum group! And it's crazy that we haven't even hung out before.
Thankfully Kiri jumps in at this point and shuts her up! Cara agrees "it is crazy" and approves of getting "to know each other" which even Remi doesn't disagree with.
Lassiters Park
Byron is grateful that Leo has agreed to meet up with him given he isn't his "favourite person right now" but there was something he wanted to show Leo - and leads him round to where they can spot Kiri/Nicolette sitting with the VM's at the back of Harolds.
Byron confirms that Nicolette/Kiri are back together "which means the idea of working with both of them is even better than it was before." He reminds Leo of how much "a dynamic team they can be" and while Leo gets that, "they're not the problem" its Byron who is!
BYRON: I know you don't trust me okay, but I'll make it up to you, I swear.
He now literally begs Leo to not "hurt himself and Yorokobi" because he "did something stupid."
The Waterhole
While in the background, Andrew is regaling Wendy's Uni friends with tales about his job, at the bar, Parker [friendly] chastises Wendy for keeping Andrew from them given he's "good value!" Wendy admits she kept quiet [about him] as she didn't think they'd "want to hang out with this old married lady." "I hope you can see that we don't really care about that stuff," Parker reassures Wendy with, they simply "want to hang out with quality people" and Wendy can bring Andrew along "any time that you like!"
Lassiters Park
Leo tells Kiri/Nicolette that while he is happy they are back together, he is still unsure about the partnership. To help convince him, Kiri says she'd "love to work with Nic at the vineyard" and while Leo has no problems with them, his problem is with Byron. Nicolette reminds him that her investment is tied to her brother and after thinking for a moment, Leo agrees to the partnership deal but he has one condition.
The Waterhole
After more police stories (how to avoid speeding tickets!) Wendy pulls Andrew aside to thank him for being friendly towards her Uni friends. She has decided not to close herself off from them… and so wants him to back off to allow her to have the "full Uni experience" but needs to do that separately from him. Andrew gets it, apologising if he was "a little bit too involved" and decides to head off to do some errands after saying bye to the others.
Erinsborough High School
"You're the actual worst," Dex greets his brother with - apparently JJ is hanging out where Nell's locker is. JJ tries to say it's purely incidental, he's waiting there before his next class but Dex thinks he is lying and accuses JJ of that. In turn, JJ gets back in that he's "sick of being accused of stuff I'm not doing!"
JJ pulls his brother into the nearby classroom so they can talk a bit more privately although the pair aren't exactly being quiet as they trade accusations against each other and of course, Nell just so happens to walk by as JJ calls out for Dex to ask her. Cue silence from the brothers so she demands to know "what's going on" and they are going to tell her!
Lassiters Park
Nicolette gives Byron the good news that the deal is back on with them as co- investors. Sadie can rightly feel there is a "but" coming along and right enough there is one and that would be Leo doesn't want Byron "to have an active part in the business," Byron is to be "a silent investor." Byron isn't too impressed Leo "wants my money, just not me?!" "It's not uncommon," Nicolette tries to reassure him with and Sadie reminds him that Krista said he can keep his job at the hotel but he doesn't want to work there! Nicolette gets that, but feels for now, they have to agree to Leo's terms and even suggests that Byron should "lay low for a bit" too by going to Queensland for a couple of weeks to let Leo cool down.
BYRON: Okay, so now I'm getting run out of the state?!
Sadie thinks Nicolette might be right - he could pretend to be okay with it then go to ground, plus Leo "can't stay angry forever!" Nicolette feels that they can change Leo's mind if they are "strategic about it" and given it's a 'done deal' a dejected Byron heads off [with Sadie] to go look for flights.
Nicolette joins Aaron at the right time to take over looking after the girls when he gets a call on his mobile phone. The caller is Logan but its not exactly a friendly catch up, it's a "something I need to tell you" call.
LOGAN: Someone who I was with before we were, just told me that they have Hep B.
Aaron feels for Logan getting that news and asks if he is okay? Thankfully he is as he's been vaccinated however Logan's body "can't produce the antibodies." Aaron isn't understanding what Logan is saying to him, so he spells it out a bit more clearly.
LOGAN: I've been exposed and if you haven't been vaccinated, there is a chance that we might both have Hepatitis B.
Aaron looks upset as he takes in what Logan has just said to him and, looking over at Nicolette and the girls, what the implications that could mean for his family.
Coming up on Neighbours

- Wendy waiting nervously about news on the mentorship.
- Remi giving Aaron some advice but he doesn't want anyone to know about it.
