Police Station
Andrew tells Leo that another woman has got the same symptoms as Dex. She had a meal at a Chinese Restaurant in Eden Hills then got ill. Leo tells him that they don't supply wine to any restaurants in Eden Hills. She didn't have wine so they're testing everything. It could possibly be Baos as the husband didn't have that dish. Leo realises it might not be connected to him. Andrew thinks this means that Leo wasn't the target of these attacks. Andrew thinks Shannon was being honest and was in custody when the woman became ill.

LEO: She could have someone helping her.
ANDREW: Or a copycat listening to the podcast. We're not ruling anything out. These two scenarios are highly unlikely.

Erinsborough Hospital
Remi has brought Cara up to speed on this woman. Remi tells Cara her symptoms are worse than Dex's and is in the ICU. Remi thinks her dose is more than Dex's was.

CARA: Not going to be eating out anytime soon.
REMI: I just hope this patient pulls through.

Cara is convinced the woman has Remi there! Remi isn't so enthusiastic about Gavin. She's letting Gavin get on with his work for Dex's sake.

Lassiter's Reception
Holly greets Brett who is taking his golf clubs outside. He tells her he's going to a meeting elsewhere. Holly wants to know if it's at a golf course!

BRETT: You go where the business takes you.

Brett heads off and Krista arrives. Krista is after a massage and lobster dinner. Holly has been expecting this but not looking happy.

HOLLY: Fake Paul's not going to be very cheery when he hears what I've done.

Krista explains that Brett is the Temporary Manager. Krista reminds bribing a podcaster isn't a smart move.

HOLLY: I didn't mean to. It just came out. I was trying to help Leo.

Krista reminds Holly she could be instantly dismissed. Krista is just giving Holly a warning. Holly takes this in as Krista gets another cancellation for a wine tour. People are being spoked as Yorokobi is on the list. She will need Holly to process the refund. Krista has to be honest with Leo about this though she doesn't want to.

Erinsborough Hospital
Remi has finished her shift and comes into Dex's room. She notices them looking at her. JJ and Dex mock her for talking like a young person! Remi brushes it off as Nell arrives. Jasmine has sent a get well soon message via Nell. Dex is happy Nell has been talking about him. JJ is working at Eirini the next day, so Nell asks to catch a lift with Cara and Remi. Dex tells her he's heading home the next day. Remi tells Nell he's still sick, but he can recover at home instead of the hospital. JJ and Nell are pleased for Dex.

The Waterhole
Leo comes off the phone to Andrew and tells Krista Shannon has been released. Krista points out that the finger's not just being aimed at Leo anymore. Leo realises that it still happened at The Waterhole so will take a while for people to return. She has to confess that the wine tours happening soon can't take place. He's lost his income and will have to let staff go.

LEO: We're bleeding money.

Krista reminds him there won't be a refund as it's last minute so the fee will still be paid. It doesn't really help cheer Leo up though.

Wendy will have to sort out kitchen staff as they're being affected by the cancellations as well. She and Aaron notice Leo has overheard them. Wendy realises Leo has been hit harder than them. Leo has to keep afloat but needs to sell the house sooner rather than later.

Ramsay Street
Dex gets out of the car and is glad to be free of the hospital! JJ reminds him he'll be on the couch or in bed once he's inside. Cara doesn't think it'll be that bad. Dex suggests playing basketball, but Cara vetoes the idea. Nell welcomes Dex home. Cara wants Dex to stay hydrated so Dex jokes about a beer. Cara isn't so impressed after what's happened. They head indoors.

JJ and Nell joke about it being just the two of them. Toadie is busy in Colac so thinks they'll be safe. Nell thinks it's a lot with Angie recently in hospital and arguing with Big Kev. Nell gets a text from Terese; she needs to head off to school. Nell and JJ check each other out as they head off.

The Waterhole
Holly comes over to Leo's table and asks for a chance to explain. She knows he detests her; she wants to sort things out for him.

HOLLY: I keep messing it up and I am so sorry. I'm going to find the poisoner and I'm not going to give up until I do.
LEO: I know it came from a good place and I appreciate the effort.

He apologises for what happened earlier. Leo agrees things can be ok with them.

LEO: As long as you stop talking to podcasters, journalists and gossip columnists.
HOLLY: I raise you Wendy Rodwell and Vera Punt.
WENDY: Rude.

Holly apologises as Leo laughs! Holly is still determined to fix things. She has been trying to convince people not to cancel instead of refund them. Leo thought these tours were non- refundable. Holly realises she's said too much again!

Andrew tells Wendy this place hasn't been so quiet before. There were practically no orders for breakfast. Andrew ordered a coffee but it won't keep the place going. Holly comes and asks if they've released Shannon. Andrew confirms this but tells her she doesn't need to know this.

ANDREW: Leave the policing to the police. I hope you're going to work. You can't cause trouble while you're working, right?

She's heading to work now. She asks Wendy to pass on that she'll be at the front desk if anyone wants to talk to her. Holly heads off. Wendy knows Holly is planning something. Andrew heads off.

Ramsay Street
Andrew asks JJ how Dex is doing.

JJ: He's probably having a welcome home party with his dorky figurines.
ANDREW: I'm glad he's on the mend.

JJ wants to ask Andrew something so they head off together.

Eirini Rising Office/Ramsay Street
Terese signs a form. She reminds Nell signing the form in the car would have prevented Nell from being late. Nell's first period is free. She wants to talk to Terese about leaving the friend zone.

Andrew tells JJ he and Wendy were young when they got together. It's a few years since he tried to get a girl to notice him! Andrew suggests JJ finds out if the girl likes him as well.

Terese had noticed Nell liked JJ but hadn't realised Nell wanted to act on it.

NELL: It's kind of what you do when you like someone. I'm flying blind here. What do I do?

Andrew suggests they have a get together and suggest casually it's a date. See how the girl reacts to the idea. JJ likes the idea and will tone it down if she isn't keen on the idea. They can carry on being friends and see what happens. JJ is happy to go along with this idea and thanks Andrew.

Terese reminds Nell what Toadie thinks of JJ, Nell realises this.

Andrew has worked out JJ is talking about Nell and realises how Toadie feels about it.

Nell wants Terese to impart advice she wished she'd known at Nell's age.

TERESE: Be honest. There's no harm in telling someone you like them.

Terese reminds Nell she also needs to talk to Toadie when he returns.

Andrew suggests that JJ talks to Toadie before he does anything else.

ANDREW: Otherwise it's an uphill battle.

JJ wants to talk to Nell first.

Erinsborough Hospital
Gavin wants to show Remi something and hands her Cleo Bouzoukis's notes. Remi sees the paramedics noted that Cleo had metallic breath which she doesn't see as unusual. Gavin points out that there is one poison that leads to metallic breath and the AST liver enzyme is affected.

GAVIN: Sidodroxaline is the poison. Mystery solved.

Erinsborough High
JJ comes over to Nell in the corridor. He just felt like meeting up. Nell reminds him it's not the same as meeting on the street. Not a smart move. JJ asks what her plans for lunch are. She planned to have Thai leftovers at home. JJ offers to join her as he's checking up on Dex, Nell agrees. He tells her it's a date and she doesn't argue. They head off but sneak looks back at each other.

Erinsborough Hospital
Dex is back sitting on the hospital bed. Gavin tells him they can now give him a few injections as they know what the poison is. Remi tells Dex they worked it out from one of the other patient's symptoms. They might have missed it but they knew all of Dex's symptoms.

DEX: I'm gonna be ok?
REMI: You're gonna be as good as new mate.

Remi and Dex hug as Dex thanks them. Remi credits Gavin with working out what the poison was so Dex thanks him. Gavin tells Dex to come with him to get the medication so they head off.

Cara is glad they've found what the poison is but still isn't keen on Gavin. Remi agrees but knows Gavin has great skills.

Lassiter's Complex
Krista bumps into Leo and can tell something is wrong. It is everything that's going on but he's not impressed about her lies. She apologies about being dishonest about the refund, she didn't mean to say it.

LEO: Cause you felt sorry for me.

Leo doesn't want to be treated like charity. He wants them to both beon the same footing. She promises not to repeat this mistake. He heads off.

Krista sees Holly talking to Shannon and goes and tells Shannon to leave. Shannon isn't impressed and refuses to leave, she thinks she's innocent.

KRISTA: You've done plenty.
SHANNON: Sell you stuff you came begging for. You're no better than
me, Princess. Next time you see me turn the other cheek, or I'll turn it for you.

Shannon heads off. Holly isn't impressed as she didn't get to question Shannon. She tells Krista that Shannon might have seen what was going on at the Vineyard. As Holly isn't a cop, PI or podcaster, Krista didn't think she'd actually investigate the matter. She reminds Holly it's her second warning and tells her it's time to return to work despite Holly protesting.

No.30
JJ returns home, Dex sneaks up on him and gives him the news about them finding the type poison.

DEX: I'm waiting for the antidote to kick in and I'll be back to normal.
JJ: You've never been normal.

JJ is thrilled for Dex. Cara comes in and isn't impressed the house is messy. She reminds JJ he's meant to be tidying the house before work. He tries to talk her round as she's a slob as well. She still insists he cleans up and heads out. Dex puts some papers in the bin.

Dex wants to find his exercise book but JJ hasn't seen it. Dex isn't impressed JJ put it in the bin, JJ didn't realise it was Dex's book. Dex isn't impressed the pictures are crumpled. He tells JJ that the pictures are special to him as Nell drew them. JJ thinks Dex has a crush on Nell which Dex denies. JJ looks at him and Dex admits it's true.

DEX: She's just real cool. Like the coolest girl ever.

Dex thinks that Nell likes him too after spending so much time in the hospital with him. JJ wonders if Dex has talked to Nell, he hasn't.

DEX: I like her way too much to risk getting it wrong.

Erinsborough Hospital
Gavin thinks Remi should stop giving him attitude after he helped Dex. Remi disagrees.

REMI: The way you acted to my wife and I was unacceptable.
GAVIN: It's all in good fun.
REMI: It's misogynistic, deeply offensive, and part of a troubling pattern.

Gavin doesn't seem to realise he's done anything wrong. She is grateful Dex is recovering and he makes a good doctor. She doesn't consider him a decent person though.

No.22
Nell is preparing lunch when there's a knock at the door. She opens the door to JJ and jokes about him needing a disguise! He didn't bother as Toadie isn't around at the moment. She has prepared lots of lunch but she plans to eat the green papaya salad. He's fine without it. She tells him she likes hanging out with him, he agrees. She approaches the subject of the date.

NELL: I want you to know I like you too. Like a lot.

He nervously laughs and tells her the date part was just a phrase.

JJ: We're best mates and I just don't wanna ruin that.

She agrees and understands but looks upset. He makes his excuses. Having to clean meant he had less time than he though he originally did. He leaves as Nell cries.
