Number 26 (garden)
Wendy is very peeved her welcome party for Felix has been turned into "Wendy's worst nightmare!" as she, JJ, Felix and Andrew decamp to the garden to have a wee chat!
JJ explains to Andrew that they were together to do more training as Felix's tactics worked better against Slade than the ones Andrew suggested.
Number 26
Wendy heads back inside to tell everyone to 'party on' and to forget what has just happened!
Quietly, Byron and Sadie are make plans for their first official date when Nicolette catches them - she is chuffed to have won 'the bet' that they are indeed dating. They quickly calm the excited Nicolette down as they want to keep their relationship quiet so they can "enjoy this before mum and dad get involved."
The Waterhole
Krista comes off the phone from Lucy on a high - she's been officially asked to take the lead in the lie- in promotion by talking to all the Lassiters managers worldwide. Paul is pleased for her and after spotting a shopping bag beside Krista, is invited to see pics of her ultrasound after commenting he didn't attend any of the ultrasounds for his kids, which he finds "amazing."
Number 26 (garden)
With Andrew busy talking to Cara and Remi, Felix takes the opportunity to ask JJ why he lied.
JJ: Just returning the favour. You got my back, I got yours.
Felix seems impressed with the response, that he fist- bumps JJ.
Number 26
Sadie and Byron are making plans for their dateā€¦ and after date but have yet to come up with any concrete plans! Nicolette overheard their conversation and goes on the hunt for a spew bucket!
The Rodwell brothers enter the house and Andrew hands his brother a beer to go with the apology he makes but post- apology, he suggests that Felix stops the training with JJ because Cara and Remi aren't happy.
Ramsay Street
As they walk home, Cara and Remi dish out the 'we are not happy' spiel to JJ. They aren't happy he didn't talk to them and don't want to see him go "down a path that'll make things worse" and JJ's punishment is he's to have no more involvement with Felix.
Lassiters managers office
Chelsea isn't impressed at being told the report she wants Krista to compile, will be delayed as she is working on the project for Lucy. News of that project further rubs Chelsea up as she expected anything like that would have come to her, not Krista!
Number 26 (garden)
Sadie gives Byron a suggestion for their dream date aka "goodbye virginity two version" - she wants something old fashioned, along the lines of Pride and Prejudice.
BYRON: I'll look into it and you won't be disappointed M'lady!
Meanwhile, Holly takes great delight in telling Felix all about her bikini collection before she heads off to get them more drinks. As she passes Byron, she can't but help tell him about being "totally in with a chance!"
There is a late arrival to the party - Jools who after praising Wendy to the hilt for putting the party together so quickly, then almost sets out to destroy the place after jumping onto Felix's back and wanting him to re- enact a bucking bronco!!
Penthouse suite
Chelsea is very peeved at Paul for not agreeing that she should be the one leading the lie- in promotion nor being told in advance that it was Krista being tasked with the role. His take is that she has "dodged a bullet" and somehow, this phrase has Chelsea doing a 360, wanting to thank Lucy during their next catch up for not giving her the job.
Number 26 (garden)
While Wendy has nobbled Jools to introduce her to the neighbours, Holly takes full advantage of this by continuing to chat Felix up!
(Later)
Jools seeks Felix out to tell him how much she is enjoying the party. In return, he's praising "the fun little street" as well as enjoying being able to spend time with JJ, so much so he's contemplating giving up being a "baddie and getting out of here." She is shocked at him wanting to "do the whole dad thing" by telling JJ, but Felix plans on keeping that bit quiet as the lad already has got parents but thinks it could be good for the pair of them if he did hang around.
After Wendy takes Felix inside to get more supplies, Holly heads outside and it is a clash of the dresses as she has the some one on as Jools! Jokingly, Jools suggests that they should swap a shoe with the other to complete the 'twin' look!
Lassiters managers office
Paul is very much impressed with the presentation that Krista has done, much to Chelsea's frustration at being side- lined yet again! However she is given an "underlings" role in proof- reading the presentation after trying to undermine the presentation by commenting on a couple of spelling errors Krista had.
Number 26
When she comes across Byron chatting with Andrew and Felix, Nicolette outs her brothers former profession to the Rodwell brothers. The ensuing manly chat is interrupted when Cara and Remi ask for word with Felix outside.
Ramsay Street
Remi and Cara explain to Felix about how worried they are about the change in JJ lately but they "don't want him to be encouraged to flight." Felix defends himself by saying he "wasn't encouraged anything" although does subtly warn that replying on "defensive techniques" is "a recipe for defeat." Given the response, the ladies are relived to have found out early enough to "nip it in the bud" and remind Felix that they are JJ's parents and thus " know what's best for him" and what he is offering, "its just not it."
FELIX: Well, I hear you loud and clear. Stay away from your kid from now on.
The ladies depart and Jools joins Felix and offers to have a chat with Cara and Remi to explain its "a welcome party not a Karen convention?!" While he appreciates the offer, it's a no thanks but the chat has proven to him that he "can't live this close to JJ and his family" and so he plans to stick to the original plan as it's "better for everyone if I just get out of here as soon as possible."
The Waterhole
Paul thanks Chelsea for helping Krista out, even if it's a task well below her paygrade, however she didn't mind the task, looking at the bigger picture of Paul reconciling with Leo. He is so impressed at Krista that he thinks the time is right for Chelsea to step back from some of her duties. "That's not necessary," she immediately counters with and wants to stay on helping as she is "loving pitching in" but Paul isn't being swayed from his mindset!
Number 26 (garden)
Byron finally gets hold of his sister to make his displeasure known at her dropping in his former profession in front of Sadie's father and uncle!
Meanwhile Holly tries to entice Felix with an "intimate" welcome to the street party! Jools has overheard the pair and quickly intervenes and has a go at Holly for trying it on with her man! "Step away from the hunk!" she tells Holly!!!
JOOLS: We might share the same clothes but we are not sharing the same bloke!
Holly defends her actions by saying she didn't know he had a girlfriend and is peeved at Sadie for not informing her of that information!
Just at that, Wendy comes out with the cake she's made (it's not a party without one!) but before any of those present gets a slice, Jools uses her hand to pick up a pile of cake and splat it on Holly's head!!! Cue gasps and shocked expressions from everyone in the garden!
JOOLS: Bye!
Jools then departs and Holly asks Wendy if "its bad" and she confirms that yes it is.
Ramsay Street
As they make their way down the driveway, Jools apologises to Felix for getting "joolsed out" and if he is mad at her? He is far from that, loving having "chicks fight over me!" She is so smitten with him, that she plans on accompanying him to the Philippines once he's "robbed that school- y retirement- y place."
After Jools departs in her Uber, it then comes clear that someone has heard their conversation - JJ and he is not amused as the credits come up!!
