Lassiters hotel, Krista's room
Despite stoically taking the news that Leo agrees that she shouldn't attend David's funeral, Krista's retribution is to ask him to leave. Leo is reluctant to do that in case she starts using again but Krista insists that she won't and that she is fine.
Number 30
Remi can't get out of the house quick enough when she spots Chelsea sitting on the kitchen bench. Chelsea takes that as 'a win' especially on what she perceives as Cara having her back… until she's reminded that Cara explained she'd "been inappropriate too!" Cara also wants her sister to leave Paul and the family alone so they can grieve.
Number 26
Andrew and Wendy are so impressed with Sadie's dedication to her course they want to pay the balance of her tuition fees. Thinking quickly, Sadie replies that she'd rather pay it off herself which thankfully they buy.
The family then have one of their regular "discharges" which is basically Andrew telling the family about cases at work without naming names, but today's one is all about Eden [its Sadie who names him not Andrew]. He is interested in filling the "weird holes" in what Eden has said - while some information is truthful, the rest sounds like it came from someone else, and he's wanting to know who that person is although Andrew is sure that in time that information will come out.
Lassiters gardens
Krista is doing a ring around trying to find a Narcotics Anonymous (NA) session she can attend but doesn't find one.
Penthouse suite
Paul has a flashback to David warning him about Chelsea's hidden agenda when the person in question arrives! She offers to go or just sit and let him talk. Paul isn't in the mood to talk or even think, so after she kisses him, she offers him an alternative and they pair make their way to his bedroom.
Number 26
Wendy is trying to persuade Sadie to let her be her model to practice her learned techniques when Andrew arrives home with a piece of evidence - a hoodie Eden left behind at #28. On seeing the hoodie, Sadie has a flashback to running into Eden walking through the complex - it looks like she thought she recognised him but isn't fully sure.
Lassiters gardens
When he hears that Krista can't get to an NA meeting, Byron offers her his ears. Krista is struggling without the support David gave her and isn't sure she can do it alone. Despite the sun, its apparently cold in Erinsborough, so Byron suggests they head back to the hotel but she isn't keen on that, wanting to avoid both Leo and Paul, but he has an alternative place they can head to instead…
Number 32
Which is hanging out with his other housemates in the garden of #32. Krista comes to the conclusion that given what has happened, she is seeing this as a good reminder that its just her and the baby.
KRISTA: Everyone in my life has either left me and used me or tried to control me.
Byron thinks her mum and Reece care for her, but she's quick to dispel this - her mum, as she "doesn't care about anyone but herself" and Reece would have her on the first flight home, "put me in rehab and try to take control" if she knew about the baby!
"We won't do that," Mackenzie is quick to reply with and even Haz wants to make her one of his famous toasties! When the pair head inside, Haz to make the toastie and Mackenzie to get her a woolie jumper to keep warm, Byron can't but help point out to Krista that she is "not alone."
Lassiters Complex
Sitting outside Harolds, Jane tells Aaron, Nicolette and Leo about the funeral arrangements in Lassiters Park. When she mentions that Krista will be seated next to Leo, he then has to break the news she isn't going. He's a bit tongue- tied tyring to explain why and its Aaron who explains why. Neither Nicolette nor Jane seem happy with this, especially as they can also tell Leo doesn't like it either.
NICOLETTE: David is your twin. Someone should be asking if you're okay with this.
AARON: (interrupting) Nic, none of us are okay!
Penthouse suite
Having had their 'afternoon delight' Paul and Chelsea relocate to the living room. Chelsea she drops into the conversation about Remi having warned David and Leo about herself. That isn't news to Paul given David passed that warning on, but it is to Chelsea so she asks if he wants an explanation?
Chelsea admits she's attracted to the things he possesses along with spending time with him and doesn't think that needs "to be mutually exclusive." Paul doesn't think so either before acknowledging that he knows she is attracted to his money but in turn he's attracted to her beauty.
PAUL: Is that really such a bad thing?!
Chelsea doesn't think so, especially given she "worked damn hard for this" [her body] and this "it should be appreciated!"
PAUL: I like being around you Chelsea, you make me smile. Right now, I reckon I need that more than ever.
Lassiters hotel
Sadie wants to see the hotel CCTV but it's a firm no from Katrina due to privacy issues. However Sadie isn't letting that stop her and so secures what she is needing after offering a backhander to Katrina (doing her make up free of charge for a wedding she is attending).
Number 32
In the summer room, Krista ignores a call from Leo, preferring instead to lie on the sofa.
Out in the garden, the housemates are at a quandary over how to help Krista. Byron wants to call Reece but Mackenzie and Haz don't think that is a good idea especially as Krista is determined "to stand on her own two feet."
HAZ: The last thing she needs is another person taking her choice out of her hands.
Lassiters Brasserie
Jane now brings Paul up to date with the funeral arrangements. It is all getting to Aaron because he's "not ready to say goodbye." "You don't have to say goodbye," Nicolette tries to say - for Isla's sake, "we need to keep David alive."
NICOLETTE: So we're gonna talk about him and remember him and love him. He's going to be a constant part of our lives so that Isla feels like he's right there too.
Number 30
Remi is back from the longest run ever and while she was out running has decided that she's had enough of them fighting. She tries to explain that they aren't a couple that bicker but since moving into the street "we're turning into people we aren't and I don't like it." Cara admits she doesn't like it either and also doesn't like being caught in the middle of Remi v Chelsea.
On hearing her name, the newly arrived home Chelsea makes her presence known and offers a solution - that they leave the past in the past and move on. Remi takes the deal offered and with peace brokered, Cara knows a way to celebrate the truce!
Number 26
Saidie is pulling her hair out at Wendy's inability to keep quiet as she tries to put the war paint… sorry make up onto her face. "I look like a really weird Harley Quinn," Wendy declares after Sadie accidentally adds a strip of lipstick to her mums face in her rush to get to her mobile phone that has just pinged. We then see what Sadie has been sent - the CCTV footage which shows Paul talking to Eden in the lift at Lassiters.
Number 32
Krista was planning on heading back to the hotel, but the housemates do their very best to make her stay the night so she isn't alone and their persuasion pays off when she agrees to stay.
Lassiters Complex
As the Rodwells walk through the complex, Andrew confirms he can't take the day off for the funeral but does plan on being at the wake. Sadie has been in a world of her own walking alongside her parents and they eventually pick up on that and just as she is going to open up to them, they look over toward the Brasserie and see the despondent extended Robinson family sitting outside. "At least they've got each other," Andrew laments as Sadie continues to stare across the complex.
