Harolds café
JJ and Dex are trying to hurry Remi up as they are very eager to get to the jumble sale to snaffle up all the video games. Before they head off, Remi has a quick catch up with Krista after spotting her entering the café.

Community centre (outside)
Toadie welcomes the gathered to the jumble sale thanking those that donated items and to those volunteering their time.

Ramsay Street
David is cleaning up the drinks diva after a successful re- introduction to making cocktails. Aaron decides to challenges his husband to a 'cocktail off' to see who makes the best one and has the best moves!

Number 24
Inside the house, they have the place set up for their cocktail battle. Aaron suggests making the competition a bit more interesting - whoever makes a mistake has to remove a piece of clothing! It is game on and unfortunately David fails right from the off and so loses his shirt!

Community centre (outside)
JJ quickly hands off a gaming t- shirt he fancied to his brother when he spots Sadie nearby. He can see she is down and suggests going to get some liquorice (even if he apparently doesn't like it!!) just to spend time with her.

Nicolette runs emergency interference when she spots Toadie and Terese talking to Veronica, sending them off to the liquorice stall. When they are alone, she demands to know why Veronica is there as she understood they'd sorted everything out last week. "I'm still trying to decide if I can believe you," is the response and Nicolette is quick to get in that Veronica can.

VERONICA: The problem is, I only have your word. I don't have Sasha's side of the story.

Nicolette isn't impressed and bluntly replies that Veronica needs "to find a way to move on." That in turn is met by Veronica asking if Nicolette is "playing more games?!" "I'm not. I promise," is Nicolette's immediate reply back and as if to make Nicolette keep her word, after spotting Jane, Veronica leaves to go say hello to her.

Harolds café
Leo is all sweetness and like to Krista when he and Abby find her in the café and ask if she's ready to go to the jumble sale. Cooly, she comments about him not wating her around Abby…

KRISTA: Seeing as I was, um, what was it again? "Unsafe and emotionally and physically unwell."

Leo tries to downplay what he said to Sadie, but Krista quickly lets it be known she heard all of what was said.

Number 24
"Always leave them wanting more!" David says when he removes his watch rather than matching Aaron and being down to just his undies! Obviously the cocktail competition is proving badly for the pair of them judging by how little clothing both have on!!!

"Alrighty, those off!" David declares after Aaron messes up a move with the cocktail shaker.

AARON: Okay, fine…unlike you, I'm willing to give the fans what they want!

And when Aaron pulls his undies down… he's got a pair of silver boxers on (from his dancing days) underneath much to David's annoyance!!

Penthouse suite
An exasperated Nicolette calls by Paul to offload her frustration at the pressure Veronica is putting her under for not being able to find Sasha. He does wonder though if Sasha would back up the story she is telling and the response is "I'd have to make sure he did."

PAUL: Oh, so it's not given?

"What are you getting at?" she asks and Paul's stance is he thinks there is "more to this." "I've told you everything I know," Nicolette eventually responds with but Paul isn't so sure and warns that given Veronica "is a loose unit" he hopes her version of events "is rock solid."

Harolds café
Leo is pleading with Krista to forgive him for what he said. She is very sceptical at the apology given "it doesn't sound like you want me anywhere near you anyway" along with him not believing her drink was spiked. "I do," he replies and tries to justify his actions by explaining that "anyone would question leaving a child in your care right now after everything you've been through."

KRISTA: I never thought that you would.

He apologises for overreacting and explains why - he has issues when it comes to Abby.

LEO: The first few months of her life were pretty turbulent and then her mum, Brit, passed away.
KRISTA: David mentioned an accident.
LEO: Brit died saving Abby's life and that's why I'm so super- protective of her because I can't let Brit down.

"I'm sorry," Krista says after that, she wasn't fully aware of the details and agrees that she's still "got a long way to go for people to trust me." Despite saying what he did about her, he does though think she will be "an amazing mum when the time comes." That statement certainly reassures Krista and he reaffirms that he is in her corner too.

Number 24
The boys are having a right time with the house to themselves… and David declares them "equal supreme mixologists!" before anyone loses their boxer shorts!

Both also have enjoyed getting some fun back into their lives after a torrid couple of years and as David points out, the day has also proved that you shouldn't "always dwell on the negative stuff."

Community centre (outside)
Remi is surprised to hear from Dex that JJ can be found at the liquorice stall. When she sees who he is with (Sadie), she decides to not head over and the pair go off together elsewhere.

Jane meets up with Byron (and Isla) after they return from her swimming lesson. Just where they meet, Veronica is standing there too so Jane introduces the young lass to her. Byron isn't happy and gets Jane to take Isla away (on the pretence she needs the toilet) so he can speak to Veronica.

From his tone, she deduces that Nicolette has told him everything, which he confirms and adds that he also thought she was leaving "our family alone." Veronica scoffs at that and replies that she can't leave "when there's so much excitement to look forward to!"

Harolds café
I'm not sure who is excited - Abby as she hands Paul over a picture she's drawn or him receiving it when he enters the café. He is surprised to see Leo and Krista there rather than at the jumble sale and they explain they are heading there just a bit later than intended due to a hiccup. Leo isn't amused at Paul's 'joke' about the hiccup (Krista embarrassing herself again) but rather than saying he was rude to Krista's face, he inadvertently says "Britney's face" instead. Oops! And given the Fau pass, Krista decides to head to her room than go to the jumble sale.

PAUL: Helping her isn't gonna mend the past son.

Leo isn't sure what Paul is getting at, so he explains - Leo wasn't there when Britney was struggling hence him being "hell- bent on helping Krista." Leo isn't amused, passing what he did as "a slip of the tongue" as they were speaking about her just before he came into the café.

PAUL: Leo, she's not your redemption, all right. You're just gonna get your feelings all confused.
LEO: Just save the psychoanalysis for the experts all right!

Number 24
Jane is shocked when she arrives home and finds the floor strewn with clothing and fruit! That is just the minor shock… the big comes when the pair of them stand up from behind the counter and she can see they are in a state of undress!

As the pair try to get into the bedroom without Jane getting a full eyeful (she is trying to shield her eyes as best she can) she tells the pair that its lucky Isla isn't with her! The boys again apologise profusely to her while trying to get to the bedroom.

JANE: Perhaps you could be sorry somewhere where you will be putting clothes on!

Community centre (outside)
"I thought you said that was dealt with," Byron says to his sister after mentioning to her who he ran into when he (and Isla) catch up with her. "I thought it was," she replies back but adds in that it appears Veronica "seems determined to ruin my life." Nicolette does have a solution in mind - involving Paul, the man with more experience in "making a problem disappear!" "What's that gonna cost you?" he asks but when Nicolette replies she doesn't know, Byron wants her to come clean with Jane to "take away the leverage."

NICOLETTE: Somehow I don't think that's gonna make Veronica go away.
BYRON: But at least you won't be lying to mum.
NICOLETTE: I'm handling it!

Thankfully for the siblings, Leo (and Abby) interrupt their conversation so they can arrange a playdate with Isla… except Isla is no longer at Nicolette's feet! Nicolette calls out "Isla" and starts looking in the vicinity of where she was standing but there is no sign of her.

Lassiters hotel, Krista's room
"Lowering yourself to come and visit me, this must be important," Krista says to Paul after she answers the door and finds him on the other side. "Yeah, it is actually," he responds with and doesn't wait for an invitation either to enter her room! He is there for one thing only, "the truth" and so asks what she knows about Britney. The only thing Krista know is she died and that Leo's really protective of Abby because of that.

PAUL: It's a lot more complicated than that actually. You see, Leo didn't know that she was pregnant and he rejected her when she needed him most. Naturally, her mental health suffered, and well, things got difficult to say the least.
KRISTA: Why are you telling me this?
PAUL: I'm telling you this because Leo has a lot of regrets over not being there for Britney. And I think he's making up for his mistakes with you.

"I'm not his project," she forcibly tells Paul but he isn't too sure, adding in that they are very similar, "both troubled young women who made bad choices." At this point, Krista wants him out of her room but Paul tries to explain that he is trying to look out for her as he fears it "can only end in one of two ways."

PAUL: Either Leo is gonna realise that he's using you and he's gonna step away and you'll end up hurt. Or, you'll relapse, Leo wont be able to save you and you'll both end up ruined. So I honestly think the best thing you can do is to just go home and be with your family.

"Are you done?" she asks and shows him the door. This time he walks away.

Community centre (outside)
Nicolette is starting to panic that she can't find Isla. Byron is calling her for too while Leo starts asking those at the jumble sale if they've seen her. Terese and Toadie confirm that she isn't inside the Community centre. Nicolette confirms that Jane hasn't take her home either, she was standing right beside her "and now she's gone." "We'll keep looking," Toadie says and goes off calling out 'Isla' and even Sadie and JJ join in the hunt for her.

With everyone off looking for Isla, Byron asks is sister, "what if she didn't walk off? What if she was taken?" but Nicolette is quick to reply that "Veronica wouldn't do that" because "Isla is just a kid."

BYRON: We need the police.

Lassiters hotel, Krista's room
Remi has answered Krista's call for help, telling her "I don't just have to be your doctor, I can be your friend."

Kirsta explains that she feels really close to Leo, probably the closest she's "been to anyone in a long time, like years" and "now its all messed up" and doesn't know what to do. Remi tries to get her to drink a glass of water but she's scared its been spiked (she's only drinking bottled water) and admits to being paranoid about food too. "Well no wonder, you're so upset, you can't think straight if you've no energy," Remi then says after that admission from Krista and so puts a plan in place - they will order room service and Remi will stay while they eat together.

Lassiters Complex
The siblings are heading through the complex towards the police station and Nicolette is worried about what she is going to tell Aaron and David. Byron thinks knowing who is responsible will help but just at that, Nicolette spots Isla sitting outside the police station [and beside her is a copy of a book called The games we play]. Naturally, Nicolette tells Isla that she was so worried and asks where she went to.

ISLA: I went with the nice lady.

After what she's heard, a frantic Nicolette asks if Veronica asked her to wait where she found her? It doesn't look like Isla responds, so is told she "can't go off with anyone, not without telling me." Byron spots the book lying on the bench outside the station and shows it to his sister.

BYRON: Nic, this is getting way too much. You've got to tell mum the truth.
