In the garden, Roxy returns from the bathroom having overcome her bout of vomiting, and rejoins Gemma. Roxy's still sad about her row with Kyle.
GEMMA: Things aren't as terrible as what you're telling yourself they are (...) These sort of blow-ups are just part and parcel of marriage. But you dust yourself off, and you just sort it out.
ROXY (tearful): Kyle said that he's glad I wasn't pregnant.
GEMMA: You know he didn't mean that. And once you tell him that you *are*, he'll be over the moon.
ROXY: How do you know?
GEMMA (laughs): Apart from vomiting in the bush? A mother knows these things.
Roxy admits that after she'd finished vomiting, she called the doctor, as she had a feeling, and he said that the first test may have been a false negative. So she's now done a second test.
GEMMA (delighted): Oh, sweetie - you're gonna be a mum!
But Roxy is still worried about Kyle, and asks what she should do. She should talk to Kyle, Gemma says.

Amy is telling Toadie and Melanie about her plans to sell the drinks van in order to pay the entry fee for her show in Fashion Week. Toadie seems sceptical, and Amy is defensive; she says it's her only option, but admits she had a fight with Ned about it.
Amy's now concentrating on her fashion designs, which she has to show to Montana by tomorrow. She explains she's toning things down as compared to her original pitch, because 'high-end designers are doing more subtle things these days'.
Karl comes in, to pick up Toadie and Melanie - they're all going to Clive's place for lunch. Melanie is excited as she hasn't seen Clive's place before.
KARL: I already feel like I've seen it, the way he bangs on about his bathroom. Who would spend that much money on bespoke tiles?
Amy gets a message from Montana, saying she's moved their meeting forward and now wants to see Amy's designs today. Amy is panicking.
The Penthouse
Leo is working, and Montana is with him. She suggests they meet up at the vineyard after lunch. But he's standoffish, saying he's got Abigail and a full schedule to contend with.
MONTANA: Well, get a babysitter. You deserve a little bit of playtime.
Leo forces a smile, but looks uncomfortable as Montana leaves. Paul turns up in the lift, and Leo asks Paul if he could babysit this afternoon so he can meet Montana - but Paul seems more interested in joining Leo for the meeting.
LEO (nervous): No, no, that's not necessary.
PAUL: Oh, Leo, if she's being a handful now that she's signed the contract for Lassiter's Fashion Week, it's the perfect time to set some boundaries.
LEO (surprised): What? I didn't realise she'd signed?
PAUL: Look, Leo, I've dealt with difficult partnerships before. And she will back down if we present a united front.
Leo insists that everything's fine with Montana, and gets up to leave.
Clive's Apartment
Clive is showing Susan, Karl, Toadie and Melanie around his posh apartment, and Susan and Mel are very vocal about how impressed they are.
MELANIE: I even love that plant - not to mention the pot.
CLIVE: Herbert Jr deserves nothing but the best.
They all join Jane who is waiting in the living area. Karl seems a little jealous of Clive's posh place and is perturbed that Susan is so impressed.
SUSAN: Imagine waking up to this view every day. Oh, I've always wanted a view.
KARL: Darling, our house is a *home*. You can't buy that.
TOADIE: Jane, I bet you love staying here.
JANE: What I love most is Clive. Without him, it's just bricks and mortar.
KARL: Well, yeah, exactly.
Karl looks very peeved as the tour continues!
Lassiter's Hotel
In the office, Terese is telling Paul how thrilled Lucy is that they have secured Fashion Week for Lassiter's.
PAUL: So she should be. She knows what a coup it is.
TERESE: Thank you for letting me do it by myself.
PAUL: It's your baby.
But Terese says they're still under pressure because of Montana's high expectations and a limited budget. Paul says Terese may need to rein in Montana's expectations. Terese points out this isn't easy.
TERESE: Although I am happy to have Leo on hand.
PAUL: Why's that?
TERESE: He seems to manage her whims. Ignores us, but tends to listen to him.
PAUL: Hmm. You don't suppose there's something going on between the two of them, do you?
TERESE (laughs): I know for a fact that there's not. He's, uh... he's already turned her down.
PAUL: What? She hit on him?
TERESE: An indecent proposal... of sorts.
PAUL: You're kidding?
TERESE: Okay, so when we lost the tender... I asked if he could possibly sway her. She said she would give it to us, on one condition.
PAUL: If, what, he slept with her?
TERESE: Yeah. I mean, of course, he turned her down. But we still ended up with the tender. I suppose he's just got a way with her.
Paul looks suspicious.
The Waterhole
Amy arrives for her meeting with Montana, and is surprised to find Ned already here. He explains he's meeting Montana too, to pitch ideas for his spot on the staging team. Things are still tense between Amy and Ned, but they're all smiles when Montana and Terese show up.
AMY: I think Mick has accidentally double-booked us.
MONTANA: Not accidentally. I like to see how people work under pressure.
Montana starts with Ned, asking why she should hire him. Ned shows Montana the designs he's prepared for the staging of Fashion Week, and she's definitely impressed. She immediately welcomes him to the staging crew. However, when Montana asks to see Amy's new fashion designs, she is far less impressed.
AMY: So, with these looks, I was going for simple, elegant lines.
MONTANA: You mean boring lines. This isn't like the rest of your work. I'm not even sure what I'm looking at.
AMY: These looks are very on-trend at the moment.
MONTANA: I don't follow trends, Amy. I *start* trends. I would never use any of this in my Fashion Week, so do better, or I will hire another local designer.
AMY: ...

Roxy comes into the garden, and finds a handwritten card from Kyle with a picture of a dog on the front. She smiles as she reads it.
KYLE (voiceover): I could kick myself for the stupid things I said, Rox. I love you more than anyone or anything in this world. I know kids are gonna be hard for us, but Staffies aren't. There's no-one else I'd want to raise a little with.
Kyle has been lurking around the side of the house, watching Roxy's reaction as she reads. He then shows himself.
KYLE: I'm really sorry, Rox. No matter how bad things have gotten in the past few months, you were always by my side. And I knew you would be, because that's who you are. I wish I could take back all the things I said. I don't want to be that guy. You don't deserve that guy. Can you please forgive me?
ROXY: ... I said some pretty mean stuff, too. I'm sorry.
KYLE: I love you.
ROXY: I love you, too.
They hug, and he kisses her.
ROXY: I have something for you.
KYLE: A Staffy?
But instead, she shows him the positive pregnancy test she's taken.
ROXY: What do you think, Dad?
KYLE: It's positive? How...? Last week -
ROXY: We took the test too early.
KYLE: Roxy, are we having a baby - our baby?
ROXY: We're having a baby!
Kyle is delighted, and picks her up in another embrace. They kiss again.
The Waterhole
Ned and Amy are now alone at the table. Ned says Amy's fashion designs 'aren't you', and asks her why she didn't show Montana her other designs.
AMY: I couldn't shake the feeling that they were too... in-your-face.
NED: Yeah, but Montana *likes* in-your-face.
At a different table, Montana is telling Terese that they can't 'play it safe' with Fashion Week, or they will not get the desired level of attention. Amy seizes her chance to make another approach, handing Montana her second folio. Montana grudgingly takes a look.
MONTANA: These are bold. Sassy, playful, with a little bit of grunge. Why didn't you show me these before?
AMY: I was playing it safe.
MONTANA: Well, don't do that, okay?
A nervous Amy looks over at Ned, who smiles at her encouragingly.
Clive's Apartment
Clive and his guests are all on the balcony, admiring the greenery of the view.
KARL: Bit chilly, though.
SUSAN: Well, I love the place, even more now that I've seen the Japanese tiles in the bathroom.
TOADIE: You know what sold me, though, was the smart lighting, and those automatic blinds.
MELANIE: And the European appliances!
KARL: You know that those top-of-the-range appliances are just rebadged versions of cheaper ones? You just pay three times the price.
CLIVE: Don't worry, Karl, I got a very good deal. You're not the only haggler on the block.
Clive's been pouring the wine and raises a toast to good company, but Karl is looking increasingly agitated.
Leo's Winery
Montana arrives for her meet-up with Leo, but he tells her they need to talk.
MONTANA: Ooh, I like it when you have your serious hat on.
LEO: Yeah - no, this isn't working.
MONTANA: What isn't?
LEO: Well, you're monopolising my time. I've got a baby girl at home, not to mention all the work I have to do here.
MONTANA: Well, I thought we were having fun. As far as I'm aware, you're clearly willing and able.
LEO: You threatened me the other day. You said if I stopped seeing you, you'd pull the pin on Fashion Week.
MONTANA: It's a joke. I was playing the high-flying fashionista. I thought it turned you on.
LEO: Yeah, well, it didn't, okay? This has to end. I can't just jump every time you snap your fingers. I honestly think we just have to keep things professional from now on.
MONTANA: So, what, I sign the contracts and then... that's it?
LEO: You know it's not that. It's just, everything's always on your terms, and I'm done with it.
MONTANA: ... Well, I hope you know who you've burned. I do. Cos I can replace all the pleasure with pain.
She winks at him, and walks off.
Clive's Apartment
Clive, Jane, Toadie, Melanie, Susan and Karl are having dinner. Karl can't hide his jealousy and keeps mouthing off.
KARL: You know, apartments aren't all they're cracked up to be. I mean, there's less privacy, you've got body corporate fees - there's less storage, car parking. There's no garden.
MELANIE: Oh, well, Herbert Jr looks pretty happy to me.
CLIVE: He is. And the body corporate fees are pretty reasonable, considering we've got a pool, and a gym, and a rooftop garden.
SUSAN: And you've got some amazing restaurants and cafés in the area.
CLIVE: Actually, an apartment's just come up for sale, I think.
Jane passes Susan a brochure, and she seems very interested to have a look. Karl looks grumpy!
Harold's Café
Amy and Ned are having a coffee together. She thanks him for the moral support at the Montana meeting.
NED: You know I've always got your back, right?
AMY: I do.
Ned acknowledges that he's seen the sign on the drinks van, advertising it as for sale.
NED: Are you really gonna sell it?
AMY: I thought that you were judging me. And I always rebel when people do that.
NED: Yeah, I've noticed.
AMY: And you said some really horrible things, babe. Like, me wanting to have another baby is not some impulsive whim.
NED: Yeah, I know. I'm sorry. I was just angry. Although, your impulsiveness does freak me out sometimes.
AMY: Yeah, but it's also why you love me.
NED: It is.
AMY: And you were right. Selling the van was really impulsive. I've decided to keep it - you know, as a backup plan. I'm gonna get an investor.
NED: Smart. And, hey, for what it's worth, I do care about you and your plans to become a fashion designer.
AMY: A 'farshun' designer.
They laugh.
The 82
Levi has joined Gemma, Kyle and Roxy for celebratory champagne at the tram; Levi congratulates Kyle and Roxy on their baby news.
GEMMA: Wherever you end up, I'll drop everything for you and my first grandchild.
KYLE: Well, you won't have to go far if we move to Darwin.
ROXY: Are you serious?!
KYLE: Totally. Babe, you need to be near your mum. That's way more important than me holding onto some memories here.
ROXY: Thank you!
They hug. Kyle apologises to Levi for leaving him in the lurch, but Levi says he understands - Kyle has to do what's best for his family.
ROXY: There's no point in hanging around if we've made a decision.
KYLE: Looks like we'll pack up and get ready to go.
LEVI: Wait, you guys can't leave without having a party first, though.
ROXY: (...) Oh, but can we keep the baby stuff a secret, until then?
Gemma and Levi agree to keep quiet.
The Vineyard
Montana is standing amongst the vines on her own, when Leo approaches. She's visibly upset.
LEO: Look, Montana, it's not that I don't like you, okay? Of course I do - we've had so much fun together... Look, I know I've hurt your feelings, okay? And I'm really sorry. But I honestly had no idea you even had feelings about... whatever this is.
MONTANA (sighs): I'm sorry. For... threatening to cause you pain.
LEO (laughs): Yeah, exactly. I mean, would you, really?
MONTANA: No! It's a defence mechanism. I work in a hard business; if I was to show weakness, I'd be eaten alive.
LEO: Well, it doesn't mean you have to be that way with me.
He takes her hands in his.
LEO: Look, why don't we try this over and start again, yeah? Except this time, I get a say in when and where.
MONTANA (laughs): And what is that supposed to mean?
LEO: Well... right here, right now?
MONTANA: Well, I have to check my schedule...
They fall into a passionate kiss. But Paul is just getting out of his car nearby, and sees them...
The Waterhole
Karl and Susan are at a table; Karl is looking at the brochure about Clive's apartment block.
KARL: This last zero must be a misprint.
SUSAN: It's high-end real estate.
KARL: It's highway robbery, is what it is. I'm sorry I haven't provided you with a more opulent lifestyle.
SUSAN: Who says I want an opulent lifestyle?
KARL: Darling, your jaw was on the ground the whole time we were at Clive's. Going on about the artwork, and how you've always wanted a view. You've never told me any of that.
SUSAN: Because I love our home. I don't want to live anywhere else. Oh, you silly thing! Mind you, I do think that our money could probably work a bit harder.
KARL: Mm, investing is risky.
SUSAN: Oh, life's risky. And I know we're more than comfortable as we are, but... I do think we could take a leaf out of Clive's book. Which is why I invested in one of Leo's whisky barrels.
KARL: I said no to that!
SUSAN: Well, I said yes. But I am sorry that I didn't discuss it with you more - but you'll see, it'll all be worth it once those dividends start rolling in.
Meanwhile, at the bar, Amy is chatting to Toadie and Melanie. Amy is pitching the opportunity for Melanie to be an investor in The Drinks Diva van - a $15,000 investment in exchange for 25 percent of the business. Melanie seems quite interested, and asks to hear more.
Lassiter's Hotel
Terese is having a meeting with Montana, when Paul storms in.
PAUL: Well, you two should be thoroughly ashamed of yourselves.
TERESE: What are you talking about?
PAUL (to Montana): You've been preying on my son. (To Terese) And you? You sent him soliciting so you could win the Fashion Week tender.
TERESE: That's not true, and you know it!
PAUL I've already spoken to Lucy, and she is as disgusted as I am. So she's advised me to pull the pin. (To Montana) So you can pack your bags, because as of now, Lassiter's Fashion Week is officially cancelled.
