No 22
Roxy and Kyle are in shock following David's revelation. He explains what happened.
DAVID: The power outage tripped a temperature alert. The alarm was switched off while they figured out what happened.
TERESE: Surely there's backup generators or something?
DAVID: There was. But when the power was restored they forgot to turn the temperature alert back on.
TERESE: Forgot?!
DAVID: A few days later there was a temperature fluctuation, and... all of the contents of your freezer thawed (...) By the time they figured it out, it was too late. I'm so sorry.
TERESE: How long ago did this happen?
DAVID: From what I could gather, a couple of weeks (...) I assume they were trying to figure out the extent of the damage before they contacted anyone formally.
TERESE: Well, I'm sorry, but that's no excuse for sitting on this for so long.
Roxy starts crying again.
Lassiter's Hotel
In the office, Chloe is having a meeting about Fashion Week with a bored and sarcastic Montana. Chloe explains Terese can't make it due to a personal matter. Chloe mentions a council grant they can apply for to cover some of the costs of the event, which they'd be eligible for if they hired some local designers and crew. Montana is unimpressed.
MONTANA: Oh, Chloe. My Fashion Week is about sophisticated glamour, okay? It's an immersive fantasy crafted by professionals - not some workshop for wannabes.
Chloe responds diplomatically, but suggests the idea of a local designer showcase nonetheless. At this point Leo comes in with some documents for Chloe.
LEO: I hope I'm not interrupting?
MONTANA: No, you just saved me from a spiel about including local designers.
CHLOE: People are really keen to be involved, plus the financials from the council offset would really help.
LEO: Yeah. I mean, Montana, come on - you're a fashion giant. Everyone's watching you to uncover the next big star. And a bigger budget means a bigger event, right? It's a win-win.
MONTANA: ... That's interesting. Take a seat.
But Leo has to get home to Abigail, so leaves. Chloe attempts to move onto the next item on the agenda, but Montana rudely cuts her off, getting up to leave herself.
MONTANA: Gotta go, busy busy. Ciao!
CHLOE: ... Ciao.
London
Harlow and Corey are walking through the gardens of a stately home or the like, discussing Corey's suggestion to burn Prue's diary. He concedes it may have been a bit of a radical idea, but...
HARLOW: No, it makes sense. After everything the Order's put my family through, it's so tempting to just get rid of it.
COREY: It's still a big decision.
HARLOW: I love reading the diary and hearing my mum's voice. So to get rid of it - burn it - it's just so final.
COREY: Hmm. That's understandable. Do you think that this Order will keep trying to get their hands on it?
HARLOW: I assume so. I don't want to keep looking over my shoulder forever. After all, the memories that I have with Mum are not going anywhere, diary or no diary. I'm gonna do it - I'm gonna burn the diary.
No 22
Kyle and Roxy are still sitting on the sofas in silence, digesting the shock news about the fertility clinic. David and Terese are discussing the situation in the kitchen; Terese thinks Kyle and Roxy should sue the clinic.
TERESE: It's disgraceful! After everything they've been through!
Terese and David rejoin Roxy and Kyle, bringing them cups of tea. David suggests that he could arrange a counsellor for them both when they feel ready.
ROXY: We still have options. Donors, or adoption. There's still hope for us.
DAVID: Yeah, there absolutely is. Just... give yourselves time to heal first.
Roxy begins to cry again, while Kyle continues to sit in silence.
The Penthouse
We learn why Montana was in such a hurry to leave the meeting with Chloe - she and Leo have been TITTNL™! They emerge from the bedroom, Leo buttoning up his shirt and Montana arranging her hair. Leo uses the opportunity to advocate Montana going a little easy on Chloe and Terese, and giving them more of a chance.
MONTANA: Oh, Leo. I keep people on their toes so I get the best from them. Pitching is a delicate artform; it's not like either of them have your expert touch.
She embraces him, but at that moment, Paul walks in, back from his Brisbane trip, and they quickly separate. Paul recognises Montana and introduces himself.
MONTANA: Your reputation precedes you.
PAUL: As does yours. You're working late, are you?
LEO: Yeah, we're just wrapping up.
Montana bids them goodnight, and leaves. Paul remarks that it's a little late for a business meeting, but Leo brushes it off as being to do with the vineyard's major role in Fashion Week.
London
In the gardens, Corey rejoins Harlow with a box of matches.
COREY: Are you ready? ... We don't have to do this. We can find some other way of saving the diary from the Order?
Harlow has torn out some pages from the diary.
HARLOW: These are my favourite pages. Where Mum seemed happiest.
She hands the torn-out pages to Corey, while she drops the rest of the diary in a nearby cigarette bin. It quickly catches fire. Harlow looks conflicted.
HARLOW: I love you, Mum.

Terese is still with Roxy and Kyle. Ned and Amy have now joined them, and are shocked to learn the news about the fertility clinic. Amy gives Roxy, who is still crying, a hug.
AMY: I'm so sorry, darling.
NED: Hey, have they offered any sort of compensation?
KYLE: No, the clinic hasn't even told us yet.
Kyle and Roxy decide to head home, so go into the kitchen to fetch their things. Roxy can barely function.
ROXY (crying): I'm sorry. I wish I was as calm as you are right now.
KYLE: Babe, since my diagnosis, I've been preparing for this moment, you know?
ROXY: I know, but I thought if I believed hard enough, we would get it, you know? I want this for us.
Kyle hugs her as she continues to sob.
London
The atmosphere is still a little awkward as Harlow reconvenes with Aunt Harriet outside a café.
HARRIET: I wasn't sure you'd come.
HARLOW: Yeah, I wasn't sure either. But then I thought about all the stupid things that I've done, and I realised I'd be a hypocrite to hold a grudge against you.
HARRIET: Well, it's more than I deserve.
HARLOW: I burned the diary, just so you know. The Order are evil. Whatever their motives are, they can't be good.
HARRIET: You're right. I can't believe I was so desperate.
HARLOW: None of this is you, really.
HARRIET: The perfect sister, the perfect career girl, the perfect aunt - so much to live up to. When it all came crashing down, I dunno, I lost myself.
HARLOW: It happens.
HARRIET: I prided myself on always being able to handle everything. And suddenly I couldn't, and I couldn't admit it to anyone either.
HARLOW: There's no shame in that.
HARRIET: No. Except when you trick your niece into flying across the world to give them a diary. Which you then try to flog to the local quasi-religious mafia.
HARLOW (laughs): Yep, when you put it like that...
HARRIET: I am so sorry. Can you forgive me?
By way of reply, Harlow retrieves a bottle of wine from her bag and puts it on the table, and a pair of plastic cups.
HARLOW: What would Mum do in this scenario?
HARRIET (laughs): Maybe we're both more like her than we'd like to admit.
The Penthouse
Paul and Leo are having a cuppa on the balcony. Paul asks for an update on Fashion Week. Leo says it's exciting to be involved, though it 'has its challenges'.
PAUL: I didn't just meet one of those challenges, did I?
LEO: Yeah, Montana can be pretty protective of her brand. But Chloe and Terese are going above and beyond, so...
PAUL: Well, you must have made quite an impression if she's prepared to launch your gin at the event. That's quite a coup.
Leo changes the subject, asking how Paul's break in Queensland was. We learn he's been staying in a cabin at Mount Tamborine with Scott and Charlene. Leo remarks that Paul is looking very relaxed.
LEO: So, are you gonna ask me? About how Terese is?
PAUL: Why, should I? Leo, as I said, this time away has done me the world of good.
The implication seems to be that Paul's no longer hung up on Terese, but Leo doesn't look convinced...
London
Harriet and Harlow are drinking the wine and chatting.
HARRIET: I could move to Australia.
HARLOW: I would love that!
HARRIET: Oh, I reckon I could give whatshisname - Paul Robinson a run for his money.
HARLOW: Watch out, Grandad!
HARRIET: Ramsay Street. It sounds so great. And warm... Maybe one day. I should probably sort my life out here first.
HARLOW: Do you think you'll get back together with Steve?
HARRIET: Hmm, I could probably start with an apology. 'Sorry for calling you unsupportive, and throwing all your clothes out onto the street.'
HARLOW: You did not?!
HARRIET: I did. And in the rain. In my defence, it was time for him to update his look. What about you? Is it to be the stranger from the hotel, or Ted?
HARLOW: Ned! (...) And, well, the stranger now has a name. Corey. But I dunno - I just think I need to stay single for a little bit.
Harriet agrees this is a good move. Harlow tries to offer Harriet some money to help her get back on her feet, recalling all the shows and museums Harriet used to take her to as a child - but Harriet won't hear of it.
HARRIET: I am not taking your money. I will be fine. I've already started making plans (...) Scraped the bottom, now the only way is up.
HARLOW: Alright, well, the offer's there.
HARRIET: What I would *really* like is for us to spend the rest of the week together. What do you say?
HARLOW: I'd like that too.
HARRIET: Am I still your hero?
HARLOW: Always!
Lassiter's Hotel
Chloe and Terese are working in the office, mulling over how they can get Montana to move forward with their ideas for Fashion Week.
CHLOE: Diva is *one* word to describe Montana (...) Our problem is we're not Leo. Being turned down has only made her more obsessed with him.
TERESE: At least she's stopped trying to take advantage.
CHLOE: Maybe it wouldn't hurt us to take advantage of her crush, a little bit? (...) I just mean, getting Leo to re-pitch all of our ideas as his own. It could be useful.
As if to prove Chloe's point, Terese gets a message from Mick, saying that Montana has agreed to proceed with the local designer showcase, after Leo supported the idea. There's a knock at the door; they're expecting Montana, but it's just Paul, much to both their disappointment!
PAUL: I just wanted to congratulate you on Fashion Week. I know how much it meant for you to land it, so well done.
TERESE (suspicious): You're wanting a briefing?
PAUL: No, no, this project's all yours now. Anyway - you two have a lovely day.
Paul walks out again, and Terese and Chloe look surprised.
No 26
In the back garden, Roxy is finishing up a phone call to her mum Gemma. She gives Kyle some good news - Gemma is getting back together with Roxy's dad, Adam.
KYLE: So, you're happy about it?
ROXY: Yeah. If it's what they want, I'm stoked.
KYLE: Terese reckons we should sue the clinic, but, uh... I just don't think I'm up for it right now.
ROXY: Mum had a good idea (...) After everything we've been through, she thought it's a great time for us to have a fresh start. Up in Darwin. What do you think?
Harold's Café
Terese tells Amy and Ned that Montana has decided to go ahead with the local designer showcase - and she's organised a meeting for Amy with Montana today, so she can pitch her fashion portfolio. Amy is over the moon, but is worried she won't have time to get something together.
No 30
We cut to a musical montage of Amy frantically organising her design portfolio, then heading to get changed.
Lassiter's Hotel
Terese and Chloe are sitting in on Amy's pitch to Montana, who unusually seems to actually be impressed.
MONTANA: There is a clear vision here - it's flirty, it's a little cheeky, which I like. It's... it's ambitious. I like it.
AMY (nervous): Oh! Thank you so much!
MONTANA: Okay, well, my people will be in touch for the next steps.
Amy thanks her again, and shows herself out. Terese tries to ride the wave of positivity and get approval from Montana for her ideas for a branding colour palette for Fashion Week.
TERESE: I was thinking along the lines of basing it on Lassiter's -
MONTANA: No. I want it to be fresh and distinctive.
CHLOE: ... Well, this makes for an elegant base we can springboard off -
MONTANA: I'm not here to be derivative. Find me some genuine options. Thank you.
Chloe and Terese exchange a glance.
London
Harlow and Corey are having drinks at the bar. Corey asks how things went with Harriet; Harlow says she's pleased to have made things right with her, and hopes that now the diary is 'burned to a crisp', the Restoration Order will leave them alone.
COREY: Good! ... Hey, I have to ask you something. Because if I don't, I'm just gonna kick myself. If you weren't heading back to Australia so soon, do you think something might happen... here... between us?
HARLOW: If circumstances were different, maybe (...) I just have a lot going on at home that I need to sort out. So I do think it would be unfair if I started something with you right now.
COREY: Well, in that case... I have really enjoyed the last few days with you.
HARLOW: Same.
They share a toast...
The Waterhole
And Ned and Amy do the same...
NED: To a fashion mogul in the making.
AMY (squeals): I'm still in shock!
She suggests that she could ask Terese whether Ned could work on her show, but he says she has enough to think about preparing the designs for the show. Amy agrees that she really needs to start work on it 'yesterday'.
Meanwhile, Terese is asking Leo if he'd mind approaching Montana with some of her and Chloe's ideas, so that she's more amenable to going along with them. Leo seems willing, saying he knows Montana is picky. Terese admits she's worried Montana will pull the pin on the whole event at any minute. Paul comes in and overhears this, but only comments...
PAUL: I'm sure you've got it all in hand.
... before walking off again!
TERESE: Does he seriously expect us to believe this whole 'hands-off' attitude?
LEO: Well, he has had a break. Maybe this is the new, improved dad.
Terese looks unconvinced.
No 26
In the garden, Kyle is watering the plants and looking glum. Roxy asks how he's doing, and broaches the subject of the possible move to Darwin, saying she knows it's a lot to think about.
KYLE: Yeah. It is... Rox, I'm not saying no to moving to Darwin. I just need some time.
ROXY: Yeah, I get that. There's so many people here that we love. But it would be really nice for me to be with Mum and Dad now they're together.
KYLE: ... Darwin'll have good fishing, I bet.
ROXY: I bet they do!
Roxy gets a message from Gemma, who has found some cheap flights and suggested Roxy and Kyle could come up for a couple of days to explore the options. Kyle suggests Roxy go alone, as he can't really leave the tram at the moment - and that way it'll give them both a chance to mull it over.
ROXY: Well, I am dying to give Dad a talking to. If he messes Mum around again, I will end him.
KYLE: Just, please don't go making any decisions without me?
ROXY: Never.
But Kyle looks worried as she walks away.
The Waterhole
Montana and Leo are discussing the launch of his gin brand at Fashion Week, which Montana seems keen on. But then Leo makes the mistake of mentioning the colour palette for the event, and her mood turns as she realises Terese has been in his ear.
MONTANA (curtly): That has nothing to do with your gin, and I want nothing to do with the Lassiter's branding.
LEO (turning on the charm): Really? Cos, I thought you'd look great in any colour.
MONTANA: Hm. Leo, I enjoy spending time with you, but you're gonna have to work harder than that. And tell Terese I expect more from her too.
Montana gets up to leave, bidding him another 'ciao'. Paul turns up, and suggests he and Leo get a coffee - but Leo has to get to the vineyard, to meet his new events manager.
PAUL (teasing): Ooh, look at you! No, come on - you know I'm very proud of you.
LEO: You know, Terese is pretty sceptical about this whole new outlook of yours.
PAUL: Well, she needn't be.
LEO: Really? So, what, you're moving on?
PAUL: Yeah. Look, I'm done pining. Okay, we're not married, we do have a business together, but we lead completely separate lives.
LEO: Well, if you feel that strongly about it, you might want to lose that ring, hey?
Paul looks down at his wedding ring, and looks conflicted.
