Number 30/London
Ned explains to Amy that he didn't tell her the truth about Harlow because he didn't want to hurt her feelings. He becomes confused, though, when Amy admits she's not mad. In fact, she feels guilty about the whole thing. Ned soon realises he and Amy might not be on the same page and asks exactly what Harlow said.
We flashback to a short while ago where Harlow is surprised to get a phone call from Amy. After some small talk, Harlow asks why Amy's calling and Amy explains she accidentally saw her text on Ned's phone. Flinching, Harlow offers Amy a half-truth and confesses that she told Ned not to get back with Amy because she didn't want Ned to get hurt, and now they've fallen out.
In the present, Amy asks Ned if there's anything more to the story. Ned says no, looking immensely relieved Harlow didn't spill the beans. Amy apologises for interfering but Ned assures her everything is fine.
Number 26 Backyard
Kyle has a coffee alongside pigeon Gary and says if he and pigeon Prue decide to have kids he shouldn't "count his pigeons before they hatch". Roxy joins them and says she needs to get the backyard party-ready for later, which confuses Kyle. She explains she's invited Terese, Levi, Ned, Amy, Hendrix and Mackenzie over for when they do their pregnancy test. Kyle is unsure, not wanting them to get ahead of themselves, but Roxy's convinced she's pregnant and can't wait to celebrate with everyone.
Lassiters Complex
Ned tags along behind Amy and Zara while Amy processes her shock over Harlow not being supportive of her and Ned reuniting. Ned tries to change the topic to breakfast, but Amy says when Harlow returns from London she's going to make more of an effort with her. Ned quickly nixes this idea, saying he'll handle it. They run into Terese outside the Waterhole and Ned congratulates her on securing Montana for fashion week. Ned then asks if he could get a position on the stage design team, which Terese thinks is a great idea. Zara's stoked when Ned says he'll take her on as his assistant again. Then it's Amy's turn to be excited when Ned suggests that Terese put on a show for local designers, which Amy could enter.
London
Harlow's still at the bar when she gets a text from Ned, thanking her for not telling Amy everything. She's soon approached by Corey, who's delighted to see her. But when he asks how her day went, Harlow says it was a disaster and she just wants to go to bed. Stalling her, Corey smiles and says it's against the rules to go to bed mad. He offers to buy her a drink to cheer her up. Enjoying the banter, Harlow decides to stay after all.
Lassiters Complex
Roxy runs up to Terese, Mackenzie and Hendrix, asking if they've seen Ned. Terese says he's hanging out with Amy, so Roxy declares it his loss for missing out on the party. The trio are confused as they thought the party was cancelled, which in turn makes Roxy confused. "When was the last time you spoke to Kyle?" Mackenzie asks Roxy, sharing an awkward look with Hendrix and Terese.
Number 26 Backyard
Roxy storms over to Kyle and starts throwing packets of chips at him, peeved that he cancelled the party without telling her. But Kyle says he doesn't think they should have an audience when they get the test results back in case it's negative. "It's not going to be negative, I'm pregnant," Roxy insists.
KYLE: You don't know that.
ROXY: Yes I do, I can feel it. I can't stop peeing, I'm tired all the time and my boobs are more tender than an Ed Sheeran ballad. What more do you want?
KYLE: That doesn't mean that you're pregnant! You could be psycho-
ROXY: Are you calling me a psycho?!
KYLE: No, I definitely am not. It's that thing where you think something's happening and it's not. It's psycho-something.
He reminds Roxy that they've only been trying to fall pregnant for two weeks and she couldn't be showing symptoms already. "Right, you would know from all the times you've been pregnant before," Roxy sasses him. Kyle quietly replies that even if she's feeling something there's still no guarantee, but Roxy just gets up and walks off.
London
Harlow tells Corey about nearly stealing a diary off a stranger earlier because she was convinced it was her mum's. Corey then tells a story from his childhood where his mum nearly accidentally took another kid home from the shops thinking it was him. Chuckling, Harlow asks if he has any siblings and Corey says he's got two sisters and a brother. He doesn't see them often, however, as they moved to York and he's based in Birmingham when he's not hopping about for work. Noticing the late hour, Harlow says she should head to bed but is thankful to Corey for cheering her up. They arrange to meet at the bar again same time tomorrow night.
Lassiters Park
It's Amy's turn to lag behind while Ned and Zara happily chatter away about fashion week ideas, but she's smiling at them getting along. Zara mentions that they should check out the vineyard soon to get a better layout of the place, so Amy says they could head up there today. She'll even shout Ned and Zara dinner at the restaurant later.
Number 22
Kyle finds Roxy hiding out after their fight. He apologises for not telling her about the party cancelation but he thought he'd see her before she ran into anyone. Roxy says he made her feel like an idiot, and that he's trying to take away a good moment from them. Kyle understands she's trying to remain positive but he doesn't want them to set themselves up for disappointment. Roxy's anger subsides a little and Kyle says he'll be at home when she's ready to return and take the test. "I love you," Kyle says, kissing her hand. "I love you too," Roxy smiles.
London
Harlow walks down a street talking on the phone to Terese. She tells her she woke up super early and decided to surprise Harriet at home. Harlow suddenly catches a glimpse of her aunt and tells Terese she'll talk to her later. But when Harlow chases after Harriet, calling out her name, Harriet ignores her and rushes away. Harlow eventually catches up to Harriet, who has stumbled and spilled her handbag to the ground. Harlow is stunned to see that Prue's diary has fallen out of the bag.
Number 22
David can't believe it when Terese says that Montana asked Leo to sleep with her. But Terese adds that Leo didn't go through with it and Montana still chose Lassiters for fashion week anyway.
DAVID: No one loves Leo more than I do, but I have never understood his effect on women. You included!
TERESE: (laughing) Yeah, well I'm just glad he didn't go through with it. It would have made the whole event feel dirty.
David then asks if Roxy knows what happened between him and Kyle the other day. Terese nods but also thinks Roxy is too busy being on a baby high to hold a grudge at the moment. Hearing a knock at the door, Terese gets up to answer thinking it's their dinner. She calls out for Roxy to join them, but finds Kyle on the other side of the door instead. He asks if Roxy's okay because he got a text telling him to come over ASAP. Bounding downstairs, Roxy tells Kyle she's freaking out because she decided to take the pregnancy test and they only have two more minutes to wait for the result.
London
Harriet explains to Harlow that she hid Prue's diary yesterday and then went back to retrieve it. Turns out someone from the Restoration Order approached Harriet a few weeks ago and offered her ten thousand pounds to hand the diary over. Harlow asks why it's important, but Harriet didn't find out. Harlow then feels betrayed that Harriet only lured her to London to steal the diary, but Harriet insists that she missed her niece too. Harlow doesn't understand why Harriet would go through with it, as it's not like she needs the money. But Harriet confesses that the bank is foreclosing on her flat, her partner left her and she lost her job. Harlow demands the diary back from her aunt and says she needs to be alone to think.
Vineyard Interior
Zara wants to keep looking around the vineyard before dinner, so Amy and Ned grab a table in the restaurant to order food. Amy jokes that Zara appears to like Ned more than she likes her at the moment. Ned plays along, but also thinks it's a tad weird how well things are going considering the disaster that happened last time he tried to step-parent Zara.
AMY: Whatever you decide about having a baby, I'm really grateful for the effort you're putting in with Zara and just how great you are at it. It's starting to feel like we're a real family. Sorry, that was too much.
NED: No, not at all.
AMY: Thanks for choosing me - and us - again. Despite what Harlow said, I'm really glad you did.
NED: (swallowing his guilt) Me too.
London
Harlow roams around the city a bit before sitting down and flicking through the diary, trying to see exactly what the Order might be interested in. But no answers befall her.
Number 22
Roxy and Kyle are nervous about turning the stick over to check the result. Before they do, Roxy says they should talk about what might happen if it is negative. Kyle says they'll definitely keep trying, and Roxy's keen to go the IVF route next time if they need to. She doesn't want to risk running out of sperm samples. Kyle eventually picks up the test and turns it over, but they're distraught when it's negative. Roxy bursts out crying and Kyle holds her. "It's fine, we can try plan B," Roxy says through her tears.
London
Harlow has told Corey all about the Restoration Order and how they've turned another family member against her. Corey wonders what's so interesting about the diary, but Harlow has no clue. Whatever it is, though, the Order won't get their hands on it. Harlow says they already ruined Prue's life and she's frustrated she can't get away from them. Corey suggests that Harlow could just get rid of the diary, even burn it if she has to. "It might help you feel free of them," he adds, while Harlow contemplates his words.
Number 22
Terese tells Roxy and Kyle how sorry she is to hear the news and asks if they need anything. "Sympathy," Roxy replies with a half-hearted smile. Terese says for what it's worth, IVF will be a great option for them. Kyle wonders if David is having any luck getting the IVF consult on the phone. Emerging from the back room, David has a grim look on his face when he returns.
TERESE: What's wrong?
DAVID: There was an accident at the clinic.
KYLE: What sort of accident?
DAVID: Kyle, all your sperm was destroyed.
ROXY: (tearing up again) What do you mean destroyed?
Kyle is shellshocked.
