- Mackenzie and Hendrix being interrupted as passions are running high.
- Roxy stunning Kyle by declaring she wants 6 kids!
- Sheila quizzing Kyle on what's up with him.
- Levi telling Amy about his date and pulling back from when she goes to kiss him.
- Amy wanting wine rather than a picnic with Ned!
- Ned not happy at Amy dragging him with her to go spy on Levi and his date.
- Levi introducing Amy has his friend to Felicity when they run into each other.
- Amy thinking Levi is deciding who he wants to be with after not explaining exactly who she is to Felicity.
After returning home with Ned, Amy is still in a tizz over Levi being on his date with Felicity. Ned thinks she is getting "carried away" and suggests watching some television to take her mind off things, but what eventually does calm her down is a reassuring hug from him.
Roxy and Kyle listen in as the delirious Sheila tells them how well Levi's date with Felicity went, including the fact they left the pub together!
SHEILA: I just want what's best for my boy.
Roxy is curious whether Felicity is into poly, thus making "a happy ending for all four of them" whereas Sheila is hoping that Felicity "puts her foot down with a firm hand and ends this madness once and for all!"
Changing the subject, Sheila asks the pair what their plans are for tomorrow - Roxy plans on spending time with Nicolette and Kyle announces he's going on a fishing trip to Frankston for a few days.
Lassiters Complex (next day)
Hendrix and Mackenzie run into each other when he's on his break. He asks if she's made contact with Harlow (yes) but she adds that its getting harder to read her lately. Both admit that they wish Harlow hadn't interrupted things and agree to revisit that with the hope that this time, things progress to the next level.
Sheila finds Levi having a cuppa in the garden and wants details! "It was nice," is all Levi is saying although the huge smile on his face is saying more!
Levi isn't amused to hear that even though Sheila did her best to keep Amy away from his date, she did try to see them. It is then Sheila who isn't amused to hear that despite her best efforts, Amy did see them.
Just at that, Amy arrives, and Sheila tries to wind her up from the off, talking about Levi's date with Felicity. Levi pulls his Gran into line and somewhat slowly, she leaves the pair to talk after Amy asked to talk to him alone.
Kyle checks how things are going with Hendrix after his recent cancer scare. Hendrix thanks Kyle for the shove to get the scan done and adds that since then, things have been really great with Mackenzie too including wanting to take things further.
And at #30, Mackenzie is having a similar conversation with Roxy. Roxy checks she is ready, commenting that it does seem different to how things were with Richie.
MACKENZIE: This is nothing like it was with Richie. Hendrix and I are completely different, there's more trust.
ROXY: That's great.
MACKENZIE: And more importantly, I'm different. I mean with Uni and working now, I feel so much more confident now in my skin. Yes, I'm ready for this.
Kyle wants to make sure that Hendrix is reading the signals properly, especially given their 'TITTNL' conversation has been based around a video game, and that he should take things at Mackenzie's pace.
Mackenzie feels she will be the one to progress things as unlike Richie, Hendrix has been "very respectful" and thinks he will "hold off until I make the first move." Seeing the change in mood, Roxy questions if that's "something you don't want to do?" and we hear that Mackenzie is waiting to be "swept off her feet." Now she understands things, Roxy is all for her wanting that, but wants to check Hendrix knows "that you're keen?"
MACKENZIE: Oh yes! I couldn't have been more obvious... like embarrassingly obvious!
ROXY: Then I see no issue with letting the boy do the work! All you have to do is sit back and let him sweep you off your feet.
Kyle meanwhile is suggesting that to make sure, Hendrix should hang back. After thinking about it for a few seconds, he agrees with Kyle and plans to let Mackenzie take the lead.
Amy thought coming to speak with Levi, while turning on the waterworks about how upset she is at him dating Felicity, would have him ditching Felicity quicker than you can say 'Erinsborough'. "I'm just exploring something new and going at my own pace," he tries to explain but to her, "it feels wrong you being with somebody else."
LEVI: So you're changing your mind, you're not okay with this anymore?
AMY: Maybe I'm not as okay as I thought that I would be.
Levi isn't buying it, especially since she expected him to bury his "jealousy."
AMY: If you were this upset, I would comfort you. You know if I thought that I was going to leave you, even if it was irrational, I would tell you that I wasn't going to do that, but you're not saying anything. You're not even saying anything now.
LEVI: Yes, because I don't see why I have to be the one to make you feel better when you're the one that's out of line.
Amy goes to say something, but mumbles it out instead due to the tears and Levi is quick to jump in and add:
LEVI: Come on Amy, this has nothing to do with you, just like how you and Ned have nothing to do with me.
The fact the tears have not got her where she expected, Amy's demeanour totally changes and she agrees to "mind my own business then," before standing up and walking away.
Kyle looks aghast to hear that not only is Roxy planning to accompany him on his fishing trip, but Toadie, subject to babysitters, too!
Kyle was right, the signals between Mackenzie and Hendrix are so mixed - she's round to TITTNL whereas he thinks she is genuinely there to play video games!
Toadie is back to confirm to Kyle that he can go on the fishing trip as the K's can babysit. Kyle bluntly informs Toadie he isn't coming, and it comes to Toadie why he isn't wanted.
TOADIE: You're not angling for fish!
Kyle rules that one out... and he doesn't want Roxy there either! Toadie doesn't seem flummoxed at Kyle wanting some "solo time" and even volunteers to be the one to tell Roxy she isn't getting to go fishing.
When Sheila spots Levi doing some 'overzealous gardening', she guesses he hasn't "kissed and made up" with Amy and suggests getting Felicity around to help cheer him up!
SHEILA: It's never too soon for date number 2!
We hear why Levi is stalling - he needs to tell Felicity about Amy. "Is that really necessary?" Sheila asks and it's a quick "yes" from Levi along with an explanation - he cares about Amy and wants to continue seeing her... something Felicity will need to be okay with too.
LEVI: Its not going to be an easy conversation but I need to know that she's definitely interested.
Sheila is sure Felicity is interested but Levi wants confirmation that is the case, by Felicity contacting him following their night out.
LEVI: If she doesn't message me after last night, then I know that she definitely doesn't care that much.
SHEILA: Pfft! So that's you're whole plan? You're just going to sit around and wait for her?
LEVI: Yip, that's my whole plan!
The Flamingo Bar
Ned moans to Roxy about how obsessed Amy is about Levi following his date. "You worried she likes him more?" Roxy asks back but he's not fussed about Amy's feelings for Levi, he wants her to concentrate on them when they are together. "That's fair," Roxy replies back to what he's said.
Just at that, Toadie comes into the bar along with Amy who is still moaning about Levi! She (nor Toadie) pick up that Ned rolls his eyes on hearing her moan about Levi. "What do you think I should do?" she asks, and his advice is for Amy "to consider your options" by deciding what serves her and what doesn't.
In the end its Roxy that spells it out to her, when she interrupts them "to say what we're all thinking."
ROXY: Amy, it's clear you and Levi are not having fun together anymore.
AMY: I didn't say that!
ROXY: Are you sure? Because Ned over here, tells me that you've been feeling insecure in the relationship and that doesn't sound like very much fun.
AMY: Well what do you think I should do oh wise one?!
ROXY: I can't call the shots, but if you don't make each other feel comfortable, or supported, what's the point in doing all of this?
The video game has finished but neither Mackenzie nor Hendrix will say what they really want to do next! Feeling like he has to say something, Hendrix proposes that its "best of three" and goes to play again, but Mackenzie has had enough and decides to leave... leaving behind the UST between the pair!
In the summer room, Ned tries to distract Amy thinking about Levi by painting her body... but find she is still thinking about Levi! Eventually she calls a halt to him painting her by admitting she doesn't know if she's "in the mood today." Ned suggests she takes the reigns, so taking the paint, she puts big X across his torso. "What is that supposed to be?" he asks, and her reply is "abstract... it's emotion... something sad."
As Amy was saying those last few words, she took the paint brush from his waist all the way up his body and onto his face! Ned is not amused!!!
NED: I don't know what to do any more Amy. I'm sorry you're having issues with Levi but that shouldn't be my problem.
AMY: I'm sorry, but this is the way that I feel.
He reminds her she promised to keep the Levi stuff separate from them, but her counter is everyone would be "honest" and "open."
AMY: I thought you understood.
NED: I do! What I'm asking is for you to stop letting it affect our relationship.
"I can't," she says and then apologises before gathering her stuff up (and making herself decent) before exiting the house.
The Flamingo Bar
Over a much deserved drink (his reward for putting up with Amy!) Toadie tries to sell it to Roxy that Kyle should have a solo fishing trip. "Did Kyle put you up to this?" she asks and Toadie is quick to confirm that it was his suggestion. Next Toadie has to convince Roxy that Kyle wanting to go solo is nothing to do with her!
TOADIE: It's just a space thing.
Kyle is dithering about making a call when Hendrix joins him for a chat. Hendrix admits that he (and Mackenzie) aren't on the same page and Kyle thinks the fact he figured that out early as being a good thing. Kyle turns down the offer of a beer as he's waiting for a call... but when Hendrix leaves, we can see its Kyle who is dithering about whether to call his ex-wife Georgia or not. Eventually he does call her and the pair start talking.
Ned decides its time for a chat with Levi over how hurt Amy is. He gets Levi has "every right to explore" but it's affecting him because Amy can't think of anything else. "So what am I supposed to do?" Levi asks and the reply is for Levi "to stop dragging it out."
NED: Reassure her... or don't. Look, either tell her you're still committed or admit that you've gone off the idea but either way, work it out because she cares about you.
Roxy picked the wrong time to walk into the café and hear Kyle finish is call by telling Georgia he will see her tomorrow. "Any chance you didn't hear any of that?!" he asks when she walks towards him,
ROXY: Was that Georgia? Georgia, Georgia, you're ex?! Georgia the mother of bossy who moved overseas and basically ripped your heart out?!
KYLE: A long time ago.
ROXY: Is this why you're going to Frankston?
ROXY: Is there even a fishing trip?!
Eventually Kyle finds is voice and says that he needs to tell her something!
