Number 32
Sheila apologises profusely to her grandson and Nicolette comes up with a solution that doesn't land Sheila in it - Levi should ask for a second independent evaluation given Clive did the original one and is her boyfriend. Levi is reluctant to follow up her suggestion, fearful that his clearance to return to work with no restrictions will get changed... or worse he will be "cut loose."

NICOLETTE: At least it will be an honest assessment.

Number 24
Since they are barely communicating, Pierce makes a suggestion to his wife that they find a grief counsellor for them to see. "I don't need to, I'm fine," is her immediate response and leaves it up to him if he feels the need for one.

Hospital
Clive is surprised to see both Levi and Nicolette in the hospital and is even more surprised when Levi explains why.

LEVI: I'm just not sure your recommendations look solid with you being Gran's boyfriend and all.

Clive very much tries to reassure Levi that his assessment was fair and accurate, but with a bit of input from Nicolette, he agrees to not standing in the way of Dr Bowman running the tests again.

Number 32
As a way of getting out of the house, Chloe had come over to help Aaron (and Fay) with the interviews for a new nurse. Chloe didn't like the first person they interviewed, or rather, "Chloe's very picky," is how Fay describes it to Nicolette when she arrives home as the trio were chatting about it. "I'm sure you'll find someone perfect soon," Nicolette reassures them with and despite Fay ordering her daughter home, Chloe plans on sticking it out to make sure the right person is hired.

Number 26 (next day)
Despite Sheila making Levi coffee as a somewhat peace offering, he is still peeved with his Gran for putting both his and Clive's jobs on the line. The lad heads to his room when Clive arrives at the house. Clive is still confused why they are doing another round of testing but does concede that he'd do the same if it where his grandchild. "I just want him to be sure," she explains but omitting the full reason why!

Number 24
"Enjoy your run," Fay says to her son-in-law after he is almost dismissed from the house by his wife (more so due the fact Hendrix keeps texting him). Fay picks up on the tension between the couple and somewhat reluctantly, Chloe explains its because he wants them to see a grief counsellor, which is the last thing she wants to do. Chloe also admits to knowing about Nicolette's feeling for her (before she moved in) but did think that she was over it. Fay is sure that Chloe's "intentions were good" and in hindsight Chloe regrets not telling Pierce.

CHLOE: I can't seem to tell him anything anymore. And everything's imploding and I just can't stop thinking that it's all because of me.

Harold's café
"Should I be worried about you and Chloe?" Hendrix asks during his post-run drink and chat with his dad - this after he'd accused his dad of "not trying" when they were out running. "Better off leaving the worrying to me," is Pierce's reply back and agrees with the lad that they need counselling, however given that Chloe is refusing to talk, neither want to force her. Just at that, Nicolette enter the café and she acknowledges their presence.

PIERCE: I still think she's got a lot to answer for.
HENDRIX: Well at least she's feeling remorseful about it.
PIERCE: Chloe's top priority now. I know she's hurting. We just need to figure out a way to help.

Number 26
Nicolette finds Levi in the garden and asks if he's heard from Dr Bowman? He replies that the results are back, and the doctor will have the verdict in a day or two. However, Levi is still not convinced that getting tested again was the right thing to do, despite what she says to him. When he again disses Sheila, Nicolette remarks that he could have had a grandmother like Gran Mangle was!

NICOLETTE: Sheila's meddling is annoying sure, but she adores you. You could do a lot worse, trust me!

Number 24
Having unloaded everything to her mum, Chloe is told that she has a right to feel "sad and overwhelmed." Chloe puts the tears down to having "a weak moment." Fay is the one to bring up that her presence, and Chloe caring for her, isn't helping either and thus has decided that it is time to head home, to allow the pair of them to work on their grief together. "I don't want you to go yet," Chloe says to her mum, but Fay insists "it's the best, for everyone."

Number 32
Aaron doesn't look too impressed to hear the news from his sister when she calls to tell him Fay's news. After relaying the news to David and Nicolette, he decides to head over #24 to talk more about it.

Alone, David tries to reassure Nicolette that she isn't the reason Fay is heading home - yes Chloe and Aaron will miss their mum when she goes, but Fay want to go home.

Number 26
Clive is trying to chivvy Sheila up by getting her interested in her gnomes, but she is too wound up for that. "I don't deserve you," she says to him, adding that he (and Levi) will be much better off without her.

CLIVE: You're not making sense Sheila and we are not breaking up.
SHEILA: Yes we are! This is the right thing to do. I can't be with you anymore.

Number 24
Chloe and Aaron have a final go at trying to persuade Fay to stay longer but her mind is made up, adding, "I can't stay here forever." We hear too that Mark has already booked her a seat on a flight back to Adelaide!

Fay has some parting wisdom for her daughter, "the trick to life, focus on what you have and make the very best of it while you can." After taking in those words of wisdom, Chloe tells her husband that if he is interested, to make arrangements for them to see a grief counsellor and she will attend.

Number 26
A somewhat shell-shocked Sheila enters the house and its Levi's turn to offer her a cuppa as a peace offering.

LEVI: Look, I'm not going to say thank you for tampering with the evaluation, but what's done is done okay. Let's pretend it didn't happen and just move on.
SHEILA: I don't deserve to be forgiven.

He seems very puzzled at her reply and she goes on to tell him about breaking up with Clive.

Hospital
Clive shares the news of the break up with David, although can't figure out why it has happened, other than Sheila still blames herself (from back in the day) for Levi's issues through the years.

Number 26
Levi eventually gets an explanation over why Sheila has split from Clive - she promised, after they got back together the last time, to never do something that would threaten their relationship again.

SHEILA: And now, look what I've done.

Levi at least wants Clive to make the decision of whether they get back together or not, but Sheila's mind is made up - she doesn't want to take up any more of Clive's time.

Hospital
Clive admits he is hoping that when Levi is back at work, things will sort itself out. He thanks his colleague for listening to his woes too, but David was happy to listen.

Number 26
Sheila reaffirms that she won't be changing her mind.

SHEILA: Clive is better off without me and that is that.

Number 24
"I'm going to miss being here," Fay declares as she gets ready to leave #24. The Greyson's given Fay some alone time to say bye to Nicolette (Chloe invited her over). She begins by thanking Nicolette for everything she has done before asking for something...

FAY: I hate that what I'm about to say may come across as being rude. I'm sure you never intended to be the cause of any friction, but Chloe has a husband.
NICOLETTE: Of that, I'm well aware.
FAY: And she's been through enough turmoil.
NICOLETTE: Hey, I'm not trying to cause any more.
FAY: (interrupting) It's okay, Chloe knows she's at fault too. She shouldn't have let you move in knowing you had feelings for her, but she shouldn't have kept it from Pierce either. But please, you have to stay away from now on.
NICOLETTE: I'm doing my best to keep my distance.
FAY: It's all I can ask.

Terese's office
Now she no longer has an excuse to work from home, Hendrix helps Chloe take back her work files to the office.

HENDRIX: Back to normal?
CHLOE: What's normal?!

Since they are alone, she asks how he is doing, feeling almost guilty at him being "pushed to the side lately." "Its been a bit intense," the lad admits, and Chloe thanks him for "being so patient." Chloe is surprised to see Pierce arrive and he asks Hendrix to give them a minute, so he heads off to get more boxes.

"Has something happened?" a worried Chloe asks after Pierce closes the door after the lad exited the office. Having overheard (unseen) most of what Fay said to Nicolette, he accuses his wife of knowing that Nicolette had feelings for her before she moved into #24 and wants to know "why didn't you tell me?" Chloe's reply is that she "honestly didn't think it was a big deal." Pierce literally scoffs at this, asking "how was it not a big deal?!"

CHLOE: She asked me out. I told her I was married, she said she was over it. It was more important that we find a good nurse for mum, and there wasn't anything more to it.

"Are you sure?" he asks, and Chloe seems almost confused at him asking this and asks who told him. Pierce explains about the conversation he overheard before Fay left. "Why do you keep hiding things from me?" he almost pleads with her.

CHLOE: I'm not hiding things from you!
PIERCE: Well then, what am I meant to make of this?!
CHLOE: Yes, I can see why I should have told you, but you're making far too big a deal of this. Someone else having a crush on me is hardly the biggest threat to our marriage.
PIERCE: It does make me wonder what else I don't know!

Chloe almost hesitates in replying, so he asks "what."

CHLOE: I don't ever want to lie to you.
PIERCE: But you feel the same for Nicolette.
CHLOE: No! I swear I don't, but I did tell her something and I felt guilty about it ever since. I even wondered if I somehow caused the miscarriage, like I was tempting fate.
PIERCE: You're scaring me Chloe! What?
CHLOE: Before it happened, I wondered very briefly, if I should be having any family with you at all.
