The Waterhole
Kyle follows his cousin into the bar and offers to let Levi punch him if it will get it out of his system! Levi is about to take up this invitation when Bea steps in to remind him that he is just next door to the police station, and it wouldn't go down well! Kyle acknowledges that he doesn't know what Levi is going through and his parting words are for him to "come home okay, it's your house too," after Bea suggests he leaves the bar.
Levi wants another (alcoholic) drink to calm down but Bea informs him he is getting a water!
Number 22
Harlow is taking advice from Paul and Terese on her presentation. They both confirm that they plan to watch it on the live stream the school have set up.
The Waterhole
Levi is ranting off at Bea, very annoyed at everyone feeling sorry for him, which he is translating into it meaning 'get over it already'. She is curious at him drinking alcohol as she thought he was off it. "I am for the most part," he replies and says that every now and then he can have a straight spirit. She urges him to tell Kyle and Sheila about his epilepsy "they'd understand why you are so upset."
LEVI: It shouldn't make a difference.
BEA: It shouldn't, but it does. They think the assault is some terrible thing that happened to you years ago. They need to know that you're still suffering from it.
LEVI: You know why I can't tell them; I'm not going to risk it getting back to the force.
BEA: If your job is so important to you then maybe don't try starting fights next door.
Number 30 (next day)
Mackenzie doesn't sound too impressed to hear that Harlow has tweaked their presentation again! She reassures her friend that their presentation is great and is equally thrilled at being able to do their presentation from #30.
Meanwhile Shane is trying to make things up with Dipi by making her a breakfast favourite - banana pancakes. She seems alarmed to hear him say he only got home 23 minutes ago, but does as she's told, by going to take a seat while he cooks brekkie.
Harold's café
Ritchie arrives in the café and spots Hendrix playing on his phone and brings up that he was keen on getting a new phone. He surprises his friend when he declares that he isn't getting himself a new phone, intending to keep his current one and only replace it when it dies... even if that means he misses out on four new versions! Hendrix denies doing it for Harlow's benefit, he is now enlightened after his research, although he then admits if she finds being "environmental responsible sexy" it would be a "win, win!"
Getting back to their projects, Ritchie is refusing to tell his friend what he has been working on, only to say that "people are going to be taking about this for weeks!"
Number 26
"Don't mind me," Sheila says to Kyle when she creeps home via the back garden to collect some medication. Kyle invites her to join him and eat the feat Roxy has left for him, but she doesn't want to intrude.
Just at that, Levi also appears in the back garden with his belongings, informing them that he "can't here." "Of course you can," Sheila says to him, explaining that she is going to be staying at Clive's place "for as long as it takes."
LEVI: You happy to stay there forever?
Kyle asks where he is going to and the reply is a hotel until he figures something else out. Levi apologise to his cousin for what happened last night, admitting that he "lost my cool." "You asked for space, I should have respected you that," Kyle acknowledges in reply.
LEVI: I'll see you around.
Number 22
Roxy is after ideas from Terese and Ned on how she can cheer Kyle up. The come up with a few suggestions but are ruled out for various reasons. Ned jokingly suggests a stripper and Roxy plans on using that line but with a twist... sending Kyle raunchy photos of herself.
TERESE: Make sure they are tastefully raunchy!
Ned points out that she needs to vet the photographer too because "there are some real creeps out there." "I've already vetted him," Roxy declares... wanting Ned to be the one to take the photos! He refuses to do the job, but she talks him round, promising that they will be "totally professional" however it's the lure of the mighty dollar that has him agreeing - $300 and an agreement that they keep it between themselves.
Number 30
Mackenzie is in a panic as the home Wi-Fi has gone down and Shane is frantically trying to sort it out. Dipi comments it was working earlier as she received photos from Toadie of Sky and Lana's wedding.
Having had no sleep, Shane is getting very irritable, so Dipi orders him to have a nap and suggests to Mackenzie she Googles for help (using 4G).
Number 22
Ned has his gear all set up for the photoshoot although he still isn't thrilled to be doing this job!
ROXY: Come on, you have plastered half of the boobs in the street
NED: None of those boobs were related to me!
"I'm ready for my close-up Mr Willis," Roxy declares having got herself comfortable on the sofa and removed the coat she was wearing to come downstairs in.
The Waterhole
Despite still being upset, Sheila is refusing to go home as Kyle suggests, preferring instead to be keeping busy. Kyle is very confident that Levi will "get over it," even if he is busy.
SHEILA: He thinks I love you more than I love him.
KYLE: Right, which isn't true... is it?
SHEILA: I love every one of my grandchildren with all my heart, but I helped raise you. You're like a son to me, and I won't apologise for loving you like one.
Sheila wishes she could rewind time and thus find a way to protect both of them, but knowing she can't, she intends to keep away from Levi until one day he stops hating her less.
Number 22
Ned and Roxy are busy working on the (tasteful) photoshoot when Paul arrives home. He isn't at all amused at the pair of them and orders Roxy to "put something on...preferably clothes." She points out that she has "something on" and orders him to chill out!
ROXY: They're nipples, I see yours all the time!
"You do not!" he immediately replies and is even less amused when Ned captures a photo of him worked up!
Number 30/ Erinsborough High School
The Wi-Fi is obviously working at #30 as Mackenzie (with Hendrix's help on the unofficial stream) gets set to watch Ritchie's presentation (Lacy Lane is doing the official online broadcast of it.)
"I don't like where this is going," Hendrix admits to Mackenzie as Ritchie begins his presentation - he is standing in front of 4 bins and we hear the smell is appalling! His presentation is about recycling and the bins are part of the schools (new) recycling scheme and very reluctantly ropes Hendrix into sorting out a pile of rubbish (which is where the smell is from) into the respective bin.
Number 22
As she looks at the photos on a laptop, Roxy is very impressed with the job Ned has done. When she comes across one of the test pics he took of himself, she orders him not to delete it but instead to upload it to 'Fandangle' (some subscription only social media site) where buff dudes are a big hit apparently. Initially he doesn't seek too keen until she mentions how much money the site has made just from subscriptions.
The Waterhole
Sheila is still upset when Roxy comes in to start her shift. Kyle has updated her, so she knows why her boss is upset, and offers her empathy for what Sheila is going through.
ROXY: You had a horrible choice to make, and from my point of view, I think that you made the best choice you could.
Sheila is somewhat surprised, given how she has treated Roxy recently, that the lass isn't somewhat 'enjoying' seeing her distress. Roxy explains that seeing Sheila in pain, doesn't bring her any joy at all.
SHEILA: I might have let my personal issues affect the way I've treated you in the past, but I promise that I'll be more professional from now on.
ROXY: So will I.
Sheila needs to go get some milk, so entrusts Roxy to "not set the bar on fire" while she nips out. Of course Levi happens to walk into the bar just as she is about to leave. One of the chairs is a trip hazard for her and she thanks him for pushing it in. "I'd do the same for anyone," he replies deadpan and looking straight rather than at his Gran.
It is a good thing Sheila is out of the bar when Kyle comes in and so can't see the HUGE smile he has on his face as he arrives to talk to Roxy about her pressie to him! He doesn't just like them, he "loves them" and can't believe the effort she want to, to do that for him.
ROXY: I'd do anything just to see you smile like that.
She points out to him though that he needs to return the favour when she has a bad day!
KYLE: I'm going to have to hire a good photographer.
ROXY: Well, you can borrow mine, he was pretty excellent.
Number 30
Dipi rouses Shane so not to have him snoring in the background while Mackenzie does her presentation! Even though Mackenzie was happy to let him sleep, given how hard he has been working, he eventually wakes and then heads to the shower as ordered by his wife!
Erinsborough High School
It seems Ritchie has enlisted everyone bar himself into sorting the school's rubbish out! Hendrix takes a break to go into the corridor to chat with Harlow and spots an unusual bag in the bin she's just pulled the lid off of - the same type that had drugs in it at his party. When she removes the black bag from one of the bins, they spot a bag taped to it that contains lots of those little bags.
HARLOW: I don't think kids are just using at school. I think someone's dealing.
Coming up on Neighbours
- Yashvi doing a stop and search on Ollie.
- Nicolette inviting Chloe to have dinner with her.
- Paul surprised to see Nicolette in Erinsborough as Jane never mentioned it.
- Brent trying to tempt his little brother into some real fun.
