In the living room, Amy asks Harlow why she doesn't want Terese and Paul to meet her mum. Harlow says it's not a good time for Prue; she wants to tell Paul and Terese not to meet her, but doesn't want them to ask too many questions. Amy says Harlow still has time to consider it.
AMY: Can I ask why it's such bad timing?
HARLOW: Er, I just don't want to talk about it.
Harlow walks off upstairs. Amy looks worried.
No 32
David is looking forlorn in the kitchen, when Aaron comes in - he's bought some paint for the crib they're making for Elly. However, David has gone off the idea altogether, and says they should just let Bea and Finn give their own crib to Elly. Aaron's confused, as David was so enthusiastic before; but an irritable David insists they need to give up on the crib altogether. David goes for a shower.
The Waterhole / London hotel
Chloe is at a table in the pub when Pierce and Hendrix come in and join her. They're fresh from an enrolment interview for Hendrix at Eden Hills Grammar, but Pierce says they 'bombed abysmally'.
HENDRIX: Eden Hills Grammar isn't my scene.
PIERCE: He made some inappropriate comments about the principal.
HENDRIX: I was giving her a compliment!
They have another interview today with a private school out east, but Pierce wants to go to this one on his own! He asks Chloe if she minds hanging out with Hendrix in the meantime.
CHLOE: What, like, babysit? He's not five years old!
PIERCE: He just needs someone to keep an eye on him.
HENDRIX: I promise not to cause any trouble.
CHLOE: ... We'll be fine.
PIERCE: I'll make it up to you.
Pierce leaves, and Chloe's phone rings - it's Terese, who's in bed with Paul in London. They're both in bathrobes and feasting on goodies from a room service trolley. Terese wants a Lassiter's update; Chloe mentions the incident with Trev the porter who hurt his back, but says it's in hand.
Terese asks after Pierce, and Chloe takes the opportunity to tell her that she and he are an item. Terese is surprised, but not concerned, saying she's happy if Chloe's happy. Hendrix listens, smirking. Chloe and Terese end the call.
PAUL: When is that girl gonna realise that you do not mix business with pleasure?
TERESE: Coming from the man who's on his honeymoon with his general manager.
Paul says he hasn't heard from Harlow, but that he's sure she won't mind them contacting Prue and meeting up. They agree to call Prue and organise a time, then start kissing.
No 28
Finn and Bea are about to continue working on their crib for Elly's baby; Bea is scrupulously going through all the necessary safety specs from the list David has given them. Karl is lingering around, and jokes about how they never worried about child safety in his day. He also moans about the outrageous costs of raising children in the modern day.
Karl's sure Elly will love the crib, but Bea mentions David and Aaron are also building one, and Elly will get to choose which one she prefers. Finn keeps quiet about his confrontation with David, and takes the list of safety specs off Bea, saying they don't need it, as he's already done his own research. Bea goes to fetch the paintbrushes so they can get cracking. Finn screws up the list.
London
Terese and Paul are on their way to meet Prue; Paul mentions that she sounded pretty scatty on the phone. They recognise her as a woman in a blue hat, but as she approaches, Paul sees a text from Harlow telling them not to meet with her. Terese tells him it's too late now; Prue has already spotted them, and is approaching. Paul puts his phone away, and Prue greets them.
Paul apologises for calling Prue so early; she says it's no bother, as she's 'up all night' anyway. She shakes Paul's hand.
PRUE: Ooh, strong! You're a Type 8!
PAUL: Type 8?
PRUE: Definitely. And you, my love, well... I'm thinking Type 3. But, I reserve the right to change my mind.
TERESE: Right, well, I hope that's not out of ten!
Prue doesn't answer! But she says it's lovely to meet them both. Everyone smiles awkwardly.
Lassiter's Complex
Hendrix has discarded his burger carton in the pond in the courtyard, but Mark is on the case and orders him to retrieve it.
HENDRIX: Isn't that what cleaners are for?
But Mark insists he'll fine Hendrix $500 unless he fishes it out. Chloe appears, and introduces them to one another. Chloe suggests Hendrix do what Mark asks, so he walks straight into the pond to retrieve the carton, shoes and all. As they move out of earshot, Chloe admits to Mark that Hendrix is now staying with Pierce indefinitely.
CHLOE: Kill me now.
MARK: Pierce shouldn't be lumping his kid on you.
CHLOE: I can handle him.
MARK: Do us all a favour, and bring that brat down a few pegs, will you?
Chloe turns and gives a still-showing-off Hendrix a disapproving glance.
Meanwhile, nearby, David is getting excessively worked up about the fact he's accidentally put his phone in some jam! Aaron tells him to chill, and asks what's gotten into him - he can tell something more's up. David admits it's Finn, and explains to Aaron about how Finn had a go at him.
DAVID: He said that we're not family, and if I'm so desperate to have a kid, I should have my own.
AARON: Are you kidding me?!
DAVID: He's just acting out of insecurity. He -
AARON: No, no - don't go making excuses for him. Seriously, after everything you have done to him, he has zero right to treat you like this. Zero.
No 22
Harlow is sitting in the dining area, when Amy turns up again, and asks if she managed to get hold of Paul. Harlow says they got the message too late, and are with Prue now.
HARLOW: I should've said something earlier.
AMY: Harlow, what's this thing about your mum?
London
Paul, Terese and Prue are sitting on a blanket in a park. Prue asks if Harlow's been any trouble; Terese insists she's been 'a gem', and Paul says they've discussed having her till the end of the year. Prue seems fine with this.
PRUE: Lo-Lo's a little independent spirit. Who am I to spoil that?
PAUL: All we've done is talk about Harlow. What about you - what do you do?
PRUE: ... She hasn't told you?
TERESE: Honestly, she hasn't said much about you at all.
PRUE: Oh, that's understandable. I'm a bit of a bore!
No 22
Harlow tells Amy that Prue is always jumping from one fad to another.
HARLOW: She was a herbalist, and then she sold cosmetics, and then she wanted to be a yoga teacher. And that's not even the half of it - she is ridiculous.
AMY: So what does she do now?
London
Prue tells Paul and Terese she's "in the wellness industry".
PRUE: I'm all about restoring joy - having a framework to realise professional and personal potential.
Terese gives Paul a nonplussed look.
No 22
Harlow tells Amy...
HARLOW: She's in a cult. The Restoration Order.
AMY: A cult?
HARLOW: Yeah. Well, they call themselves a lifestyle community. But all they do is take your money and brainwash you.
AMY: Well, maybe Dad and Terese can talk some sense into her?
HARLOW: Oh, no - she'll be giving them an edited version of it, trust me.
London
Prue is still with Paul and Terese.
PRUE: I'm about recognising bad habits, and then finding a meaningful balance.
TERESE: I'm sorry - is this what you do for a job?
No 22
Harlow continues...
HARLOW: She knows it's weird. That's why she doesn't give details until she gets to know the people.
AMY: Has she paid money to this community?
HARLOW (nods): To complete the transformation courses. They made her rethink her friends and family.
AMY: Including you?
HARLOW: I wanted no part of it. We always argued. So then, when I told her I wanted to move to Australia, it made it easier for her to let me go.
AMY: Are you sure you don't want to warn Dad and Terese about her?
HARLOW: Yeah, positive. It's so embarrassing. I just... I just don't want her to make a fool of herself.
London
Prue tells Paul and Terese...
PRUE: It's an ancient philosophy dating back to the 1960s. Well, it's changed my life.
TERESE: ... Fascinating!
It feels like Prue can tell she's being humoured, so just plasters on an even bigger smile.
The Waterhole
Hendrix is stood up and taking a photo of Chloe, who's still at the table.
HENDRIX: Has your brother always been so uptight?
CHLOE: Can you please delete that photo?
HENDRIX: He was probably a ball-breaker growing up.
CHLOE: I can't say he's ever completely approved of my life choices.
HENDRIX: Really? How naughty do you get?
CHLOE: ... Why do you say things like that?
HENDRIX: I'm just trying to get to know you.
Pierce comes in and rejoins them. He tells them that Eden Hills had rung the second school to tell them how 'spirited' Hendrix was, so the other school hasn't given him a place either! Pierce says they aren't now left with many options.
HENDRIX: What about home-schooling? Chloe could teach me a thing or two.
PIERCE: ...
CHLOE: Actually, I have a better idea. Grab some dinner; I'll be back.
Chloe rushes off. Pierce gives Hendrix a look.
No 28
Karl, Bea and Finn are getting ready to have dinner - it looks like it's another hash brown special, and Bea is ribbing Karl about it. At this point, Aaron marches in and accosts Finn.
AARON: Listen - don't you ever, ever talk to my husband like that again! You hear me?
FINN: Maybe we can go somewhere else and talk, yeah?
AARON: Oh, what? You haven't mentioned the little chat you had with David to anyone else?
BEA: What chat?
AARON: Oh, the chat where he told David to back off, because apparently he is nothing to Elly's baby. And now David's pulled out of the whole crib idea altogether.
BEA: There must be a mistake.
AARON: No, Bea, there's no mistake - your boyfriend is a jerk!
FINN: It wasn't David's place to get involved like that.
AARON: Finn, David has always stood by you, and this is how you go and treat him?
FINN: Well, he tried to tell me -
But Aaron is yelling now.
AARON: Oh, yeah, yeah - and why don't you go and tell the gay guys to have a baby of their own, like it's that easy?!
Karl tells Aaron to take a step back; but Aaron's happy to leave, saying he doesn't want anything to do with Finn right now. Bea looks at Finn, awaiting an explanation.
The Waterhole
Chloe rejoins Hendrix and Pierce, and presents Hendrix with an enrolment leaflet for Erinsborough High!
HENDRIX: Is this a... public school?
CHLOE: Uh-huh. And proud of it.
HENDRIX: No, I'd rather drink bin juice than be seen in this dump.
CHLOE: Well, then you are lucky they don't serve bin juice at the canteen! The school does, however, take in all locals, even those who struggle a bit with their social skills.
PIERCE: You'd look very handsome in this uniform.
CHLOE: He's gonna look so cute in the little blue shirt, and little striped tie!
HENDRIX: I'm not going to a public school!
CHLOE: Then, what are you gonna do all day - wade around in the pond?
HENDRIX: Whoever told you you were funny, they were lying.
Hendrix stomps off and finds a new table to himself. Pierce wonders if they had too much fun at his expense, but Chloe says he needs to know who's boss. Pierce thanks her for today.
PIERCE: I know he can be a handful, but... I think he likes you.
Chloe looks concerned, and is about to say something, but Pierce continues...
PIERCE: I never really saw myself as a dad. But maybe I can make it work. Under all that bravado, he's probably just as freaked out as I am on this.
Chloe opts not to say anything, other than...
CHLOE: You're doing great.
PIERCE: I hope so. I just wanna make up for lost time.
Hendrix glances over at Chloe, who looks concerned.
No 32
Aaron returns home, and admits to David that he confronted Finn, who doesn't think he did anything wrong. David isn't mad at Aaron for sticking up for him, saying his issue with Finn this time is personal whereas previously it was professional. David says it's Elly's call who's involved in her baby's life; and when she returns, they'll be there for her as much or as little as she wants.
DAVID: It's her decision - it's not Shaun's, and it's definitely not Finn's.
The Waterhole
Hendrix is back at the table with Pierce and Chloe.
HENDRIX: Mum won't like it when I tell her you're sending me to a public school.
PIERCE: Yeah? Well, she won't like it when I explain why I have to.
CHLOE: Chin up - a dose of the real world will do you wonders.
Karl turns up, and Pierce introduces him to Hendrix as the husband of his prospective principal! But when Karl asks if Hendrix is starting at the school soon, Hendrix simply replies, "no". Karl takes Pierce aside to discuss arrangements for their wine-tasting event plans.
HENDRIX: You don't have to do this whole stepmum routine with me, you know?
CHLOE: I'm not. I'm just trying to help.
HENDRIX: Yeah, but it's not the real you.
CHLOE: ... You don't know anything about me.
HENDRIX: Well, I know you're a party girl!
CHLOE: I've had just about enough of your juvenile attitude, Hendrix. So how about you pull your head in?
HENDRIX: ... Sorry. You know, I struggle with boundaries. They make things so boring.
Chloe looks annoyed.
London
Prue is still with Paul and Terese.
PRUE: It's incredibly rewarding, seeing the change and enrichment in people's lives.
Paul again asks if this relates to Prue's profession, but Terese interrupts, saying they've asked enough questions.
PRUE: Now I'm sure of it - you're a Type 3.
TERESE: Actually, one more question - what exactly does that mean?
PRUE: You're strong, but you're... you're a pacifier.
Terese seems quite pleased at this. But neither she nor Paul notice a man in a strange outfit appear from behind a nearby tree. Prue notices him, however, and immediately starts to get up, saying it's been lovely to meet them - she can tell Harlow's in good hands. She starts pulling the blanket out from under them; Terese and Paul are surprised by Prue's sudden determination to go.
The man hides behind the tree again. Paul asks if Prue wants to ask them anything more, but she just replies that she trusts "Lo-Lo's judgement". She rushes off, and Paul and Terese are perplexed, but pleased they could at least put a face to the name.
TERESE: She's pretty out there.
PAUL: Yeah. Maybe that's why Harlow didn't want us to meet her.
TERESE: Yeah, maybe. But she does seem harmless.
They walk off in the other direction. Meanwhile, Prue is accosted by the man from behind the tree, Graham. We get a closer look at him - he's in a turtleneck shirt, a waistcoat, and wears a necklace with a key-like pendant on it.
GRAHAM: How was your meeting?
PRUE: Good. They seem really kind. Harlow's being well looked-after.
GRAHAM: That must be a comfort. It's time to let her go, Prudence. I know it's difficult, but it's for the best. If your daughter isn't with us, then she's against us.
Prue nods, but looks emotional.
No 22
Amy is with Harlow on the sofa. Amy gets a text from Paul and reads it out to Harlow. He found Prue was "very different to Harlow, but good to finally meet - had a lovely time".
Harlow breathes a sigh of relief that Prue hasn't gone into detail about the Restoration Order with them. Harlow considers messaging Prue to thank her for not saying anything; Amy thinks she might come to her senses and leave the cult.
HARLOW: Maybe. Do you mind if we keep everything I told you between us? Please, Amy - it's no-one else's business.

Amy looks uncomfortable as she considers, but confirms it's "in the vault". As Amy goes to make a cuppa, Harlow gets a text from Prue. "Don't panic if you don't hear from me," it says. "Take care." Harlow looks worried.
No 28
Bea is ranting at Finn for his harsh words to David; he claims he was doing it for the baby, and that what's good for the baby is good for Elly.
BEA: Oh, come on! You don't believe that, do you? I'm just glad that Elly isn't here to see what's been going on.
Bea leaves the room, and Karl gives Finn a look.
FINN: Are you gonna give me any more advice?
KARL: Well, I could. But would you listen? I'm not the enemy here. Nor is Bea or David. You need to fix things with him, because your sessions at the hospital are too important.
FINN: Yeah, I know that.
KARL: This situation is not gonna change until you realise you can't control what Elly and David do. No matter how strongly you feel about it.
Karl walks out, leaving Finn looking frustrated. He makes a call on his mobile, to Shaun.
FINN: No, I haven't spoken to Elly yet. But it is why I'm calling... The whole situation's a complete mess.
No 32
Chloe is having a doze on the sofa in the sun-room, when someone appears behind her and starts massaging her shoulders. She smiles, assuming it's Pierce.
CHLOE: Mm, that feels good - maybe we should move this into the bedroom.
HENDRIX: Oh, I thought you would never ask!
Chloe sits up in shock.
CHLOE: What are you doing here?!
HENDRIX: Hey, relax - I was just kidding around. Sorry, if you were hoping to take things further.
CHLOE: As if!
HENDRIX: Don't worry - I can keep a secret.
At this moment, Pierce comes in and asks what Hendrix is doing here. He says Pierce's place has a 'desperate housewives vibe when no-one's home'.
HENDRIX: Plus, this pool's better.
Hendrix whips off his shirt and rushes into the yard, leaving Chloe looking concerned. Pierce apologises to Chloe and kisses her; she says it's fine, but Hendrix is smiling at her through the window, and she continues to look worried.
