Number 22
Piper tells Ned and Terese about Tyler coming back to Erinsborough for his hearing tomorrow, so depending on how it goes he could be out by tomorrow night. Piper wants to see him before the hearing but she doesn't know how to act. Should she hug him, or be angry at him for shutting her out, or apologise to him for dating the guy who put him in jail? She doesn't know how much Tyler knows about Cassius. Terese thinks Piper should stay home tomorrow, but Piper says she needs Tyler to know that she's still here for him.

Number 30
Toadie returns home from Adelaide, giving Nell a hug and fills Sonya in on Tyler. Toadie has to have to have a shower and then head to the station. Sonya is going to call day care to see if she can get Hugo and Nell a spot.

TOADIE: You know given everything that's going on, I thought you'd be pulling your hair out.
SONYA: I know, and yet I look like I've just walked out of a salon. How do I do it?
TOADIE: You're beautiful

Toadie kisses Sonya before he heads for a shower.

Lassiters Complex
Mark, Aaron, Piper and Chloe approach the station. Bea passes by and hopes that things go well today. Mishti tells them that Tyler is inside the station, but he's still in custody so he can only have one visitor at a time. Mark goes in first, but says he will let Tyler know they are there. Chloe's going to go to work, she'd rather keep busy than stand around stressing all day. Aaron tells Piper not to stress, she'll be with Tyler in no time.

Lassiters
Terese tells Chloe she doesn't have to come in to work, but she doesn't want to sit around and wait for the verdict. Terese says Tyler was wrongly convicted so it should be good news. Chloe would rather not think about it. Pierce arrives and tells them that he'd like to arrange a wine tasting at the hotel. Terese recommends he work with Chloe, but Pierce asks if there is anyone else. When Terese insists Chloe is the best, he says he'll make do.

Lassiters Terrace
Chloe is turning her phone on silent, while Pierce hopes she isn't googling about how to host a wine event. Pierce coldly asks about the venue, while Chloe tries to sell its suitability, suggesting they use a classical singer for the event. Pierce agrees and tells them to move on to wine, the samples are in his room.

Erinsborough Police Station
Tyler enters the interview room and hugs Mark. Mark hopes Tyler will be home by dinner time, but Toadie tells them not to get their hopes up, they still have to go to the hearing. Toadie tells Tyler the murder charge will be quashed but he's still guilty of assaulting Hamish, which could carry two years. Mark says they should convince the judge that he's served his time. Toadie says he'll highlight that the crime wasn't premeditated, and the fact that he already started a ten-year sentenced which would have taken a huge emotional toll. Toadie says he has only served eight months so another two months could be possible. Tyler asks where Piper is. Mark says she's outside, but Tyler doesn't want to see her yet. He wants to know about her and Cassius first.

Number 30
Sonya is phoning someone at work, trying to organise the business. Nell meanwhile is making lots of noise with her toys and Hugo is on the verge of crying too.

SONYA (to Hugo): No, darling, its okay, its okay. (to the phone) No, I'm not talking to you. (to Nell) Hey, do you want to end up in the naughty corner or what? (to the phone) No, I'm not talking to you!

Susan arrives and gets Nell to quieten down while Sonya ends the call. Sonya thanks Susan for coming and apologises for her SOS call, she hasn't been able to sort out everything on the phone as Cassius has left the business in a mess. Susan is happy to help but she only has one hour before she has to go back to work. Susan goes to take Nell and Hugo outside.

SONYA: Okay, Lyra, I need a bit of positive energy for today, can you do something?
LYRA: It is what it is.
SONYA: Okay, you're useless!

Sonya head out to work.

Lassiters Complex
Piper and Aaron are waiting outside nervously. Piper asks how much Tyler knows about Cassius. Aaron says he mentioned it to him a while ago but Tyler accepted it. Mishti arrives and says Mark is still talking to Tyler. She asks Piper to give the hearing a miss as Tyler isn't ready to see her. Piper looks devastated, Aaron hugs her.

Harold's Café
Sonya is still making work calls as Toadie arrives. Sonya says she had to sort some things out at the nursery and that she couldn't get the kids into day care. Their spot isn't available until the day they're meant to get back, which is weeks away. She has to go pick the kids up from Susan, but she also needs to sort out the nursery as someone has called in sick this afternoon. Toadie suggests they close the nursery until they get everything sorted. Sonya says she'll be alright, he should focus on Tyler and she'll handle it.

Lassiters Hotel, Pierce's Room
Chloe sends Aaron a text asking about Tyler. Pierce meanwhile shows off some of his private wine collection. As she takes a look at one, he takes it off her, explaining how valuable they are and that they don't get touched until the night of the event. Chloe asks why he's treating her like the hired help.

CHLOE: What happened to Mr Charming? Or did he smoke bomb as soon as I refused to spend the night.
PIERCE: You made it clear that our relationship should be kept strictly to hotel business, and I'm respecting that.
CHLOE: By being a jerk?
PIERCE: No by treating you like everyone else I work with. When it comes to business, I'm detached.

Pierce explains that he had a wonderful time on the dates, he's okay that she didn't accept his offer. Chloe says she can put what happened behind them.

Erinsborough Police Station
Mark explains to Tyler that they gave Piper and Cassius their blessing out of what was best for her. She was in a bad way after he sent back her mail and refused to see her, Piper even became obsessed with his chair. Now they feel awful about supporting Cassius. Mark says that what Piper had with Cassius was nothing compared to her relationship with Tyler. She didn't sense anything off with Cassius, but Mark admits he didn't either, he wasn't looking.

TYLER: Everyone thought I did it, even me. Cassius is the only one to blame. He lived eight months of my life, with my girlfriend, with my family!

Toadie arrives with a suit for Tyler to take to the hearing.

The Waterhole
Bea and Ned arrive for lunch. Ned spots Piper sitting by herself, Bea suggests she go check on her. Piper tells Bea that she isn't going to Tyler's hearing as its probably best for her to stay out of it. Bea invites her to have lunch with her and Ned, but Piper isn't feeling up to it. Piper apologises to Bea, she tried to warn her about Cassius and she didn't listen to her. Cassius shouted at Bea all those times and Piper should have taken it more seriously. Bea knows what its like to be taken in by someone, she isn't to blame. Piper admits she isn't at the hearing because Tyler doesn't want her there. Piper isn't sure she's ready to see him, but now Tyler doesn't want to see her, she wants to see him even more. They have so much to talk about. Bea tells him that when he gets back from the hearing, she should be there. Good or bad, Piper needs this.

Number 30
Susan joins Sonya again. Sonya apologises for the second phone call, but she needs to cover at the nursery and they can't afford to close early. Susan says its okay as school has finished for the day. Sonya doesn't know how she'll cope for two weeks without day care, but Sonya says she can call on her, or Shane and Dipi. Sonya thinks they need to find a proper solution.

Erinsborough Police Station
Mark and Toadie are delighted that Tyler is free, as Tyler signs the release forms. Tyler seems in disbelief, unsure how he feels.

TYLER: When I got locked up I tried hard not to think about the future. I just lived inside my head and now it doesn't feel real.
MARK: It is real, you've got your life back. Everything you left behind is out there waiting for you.
TYLER: Including Piper?

Tyler doesn't know what to say to Piper. Mark thinks he'll figure it out when he sees her. Toadie says they'll get Tyler's belongings and then he's free to go.

Lassiters Hotel, Pierce's Room
Chloe and Pierce are wine tasting when Chloe's phone rings. Chloe answers the phone and is thrilled to hear that Tyler's being released. She excitedly hugs Pierce as she tells him the news. He says she can go, as they've finished tasting all the wine. Chloe says Tyler is still at the station and he won't be home for a while yet. Pierce asks about keeping their relationship respectful, Chloe thinks she spoke too soon. Pierce and Chloe kiss, as they kiss Chloe takes off Pierce's jacket.

Number 24
David and Aaron take out Tyler's chair, Aaron thanks David for saving it, Tyler will be happy. As they hug together on the sofa, they talk about all the other things Tyler will get to enjoy while out of prison, such as the private bedroom and bathroom. Chloe arrives from the supermarket with some of Tyler's favourite treats. David says a package arrived for Chloe. She opens the package containing a bottle of wine and a small black box like the one the necklace Pierce offered her was in. She quickly pockets the box and claims she isn't sure who the wine is from. David asks if she's done a favour for anyone recently. Aaron says the wine looks fancy, and he doubts she got it for nothing.

Erinsborough Police Station/Lassiters Complex
Tyler gathers his belongings, including his phone. After signing for them he heads outside. He immediately sees Piper waiting for him. He walks over towards Piper and they stand facing each other.

- Elly isn't comfortable knowing something he doesn't. Chloe is worried she's going to blab.
