Erinsborough Hospital
Karl apologises, he realises that this is a lot to deal with and so confronting. He offers for one of her brothers to be with her. Chloe says that she's never heard of Huntingdon's Disease. Karl tells her that Huntingdon's is rare and offers again to call her brothers. An upset Chloe wants to know how much time she has got left. Karl points out that it's not the same for everyone. When people are in their 30s or 40s it's most common for the symptoms to appear. Chloe wants to know what the symptoms are.
KARL: It varies. There's disruption to mental processes, difficulties with emotional control, (Karl's voice becomes less distinct to Chloe) mood swings, involuntary muscle movements. The onset of the disease is slow, but you'll eventually need full-time care. (Karl's voice is back to normal.) Once symptoms start to appear, people typically live 15 to 20 years.
Chloe who is still crying says she isn't able to do this, stands up and leaves the room. Karl calls after her talking about needing to sort out specialist tests.

Elly is on her laptop when Bea comes out of the bathroom. Elly jokes about Bea turning into a prune as Bea has been in the bath for an hour! Bea has just been relaxing as much as she can. Elly comments she has twice the workload after Susan has gone away for one day. Elly suggests they share some wine and watch the telly but Bea isn't keen. Bea plans to have an early night.

Chloe arrives home and the lights are switched off, there's no one home. Chloe moves around the place taking in what Karl has just told her. She leaves Faye a voicemail asking her to ring her back. Chloe bursts into tears.
The Waterhole
It is now the next morning. Amy walks in and Dr Rob Carson greets her. Amy doesn't recognise him. Rob explains that at the same time they put charity presents under the tree when Christmas in July happened. Amy vaguely remembers him and Rob wanders off.
Amy comes to join Gary and Xanthe at the bar. Gary jokes about her breaking hearts and she brushes him off. Xanthe wants to know what's going on and winces as she turns around. Gary tells her to take it easy as this is the first day she's gone out. Amy agrees she should be careful after having a broken sternum. Gary suggests they sit down and invites Amy to join them for breakfast. She can't as she has a HPV test soon. Gary comments it's quite early to talk about this.
AMY: We could always talk about prostate checks if you like!
Gary isn't keen before he's eaten in the morning!
Harold's café
Elly is ordering at the counter when Mark arrives and places his order. Mark notices Bea isn't with her and wants to know how things are going. Elly isn't sure how to sort this out without forcing her into a chair and making her talk. Mark suggests that Elly is patient with Bea. Elly says she has made a lot of effort but Liz's lie about Finn hasn't helped the trust issues. Mark points out that Bea and Elly handle things differently, same as him and his brothers. They're starting to reconnect with Chloe now, same as Elly and Bea. Elly points out that Bea was on the streets until Finn conned her into coming to Erinsborough. Elly worries Bea will leave again if they don't sort things out.
Erinsborough Hospital
Amy is getting ready for the test and is amused when Rob walks in. She hasn't failed to recognise him! She checks if she lies back as the test has been changed. Rob reassures her that the test is unchanged. Amy asks for a mole check and Rob excuses himself. Amy gets herself ready and a female doctor comes in. The doctor introduces herself as Doctor Zimmerman, Rob has been called into a meeting. Amy is happy for the other doctor to do the test instead.

Aaron comments that Chloe has two pods this morning, she didn't sleep that great last night. Aaron sympathises as he goes to answer a knock at the door. It's Karl who's come to see Chloe. Chloe tells Aaron that she requested more travel sickness pills from Karl. Aaron appreciates the thought but plans to just stay off boats instead. He heads off for a suit fitting with David.
Karl realises Chloe hasn't told him about the diagnosis. Chloe tells Karl she didn't tell them as they were asleep and she's trying to sort out what's happening in her head this morning. Karl points out they need to know. Chloe tells him she's left a voicemail for Faye. Karl reminds her that the parents pass on the Huntingdon's gene. Chloe points out she thinks it could be Russell as he had major mood swings. Karl says it's best to check it out and there's a 50% chance that the gene has been passed onto her brothers. It could be passed onto their own children. Karl tells her he can't start to imagine what she is going through herself. Her family do need to know sooner rather than later.

Elly arrives home with Dipi's double chocolate muffins and is raving about them. Bea isn't interested as she has already eaten. Elly tries broaching the subject about Liz but Bea says she doesn't want to talk about it. Elly reassures Bea she is always there for her. Bea thanks Elly and heads over to the kitchen area. Elly picks up Bea's assignment but Bea isn't keen for her to look at it. Elly comments that there are lots of red marks. Bea says she was marked down due to a couple of typos. Bea told her tutor she doesn't need to be a great speller to be a mechanic. Elly points out the bs and ds plus ps and qs are mixed up. Bea isn't so concerned. Elly broaches the subject of dyslexia. Bea says that Finn mentioned it and helped her. Finn was the first person that had bothered to notice this but was actually a monster. Elly offers to help Bea but Bea heads off to work, still ignoring the muffins.
Fitzgerald Motors
Chloe arrives and has brought Mark a coffee, he thanks her. She'd bought it for herself but didn't drink it as she felt jaded. Mark is envious that it's her day off as he found it hard to get out of bed this morning. Mark thinks it's a good idea for the family to get together to go to the boat, or another place where Aaron doesn't get so sick!
CHLOE: Would you wanna know if you were going to die?
Mark is stunned and Chloe just brushes it off. Mark reassures her she doesn't need to worry about anything despite them talking about Russell's health.
Bea arrives and Mark hands her the latest TAFE module. Chloe heads off.
Erinsborough Hospital
Doctor Zimmerman tells Amy in a couple of weeks her test results will be ready. Karl comes past and Amy thanks him for stealing Rob away and causing an awkward encounter! Karl looks confused so Amy explains what happened. Karl tells Amy that the meeting never happened which leaves Amy looking puzzled.
Erinsborough High
Mark and Elly are walking in the grounds and are talking about the possility of Bea having dyslexia. Elly apologises about calling Mark to the school but she'd rather not have the conversation in front of Bea. Elly worries it will halt her progress at TAFE and wonders if Mark has picked up on anything. When dealing with invoices Mark noticed Bea was struggling. Elly feels bad that Finn picked up on it before the rest of the family did. Elly worries Bea will have to deal with this for the rest of her life if she doesn't get help. Mark offers to talk to Bea as they are getting on well and also help her. Elly suggests some resources he could give Bea.
Penthouse Suite
Chloe practices telling Aaron about Huntingdon's Disease as she goes up in the lift. The lift doors open where Aaron and David are trying on their suits for the wedding. Chloe thinks they look sensational! They tell her this is the first option but they do like them. David is excited now everything is happening though he originally wanted a long engagement.
AARON: This is the happiest I've ever been.
They kiss before Aaron apologises. He mentions Chloe's text about wanting to talk to them about something. Instead of telling them, Chloe apologises about the disaster about the wedding planning. The men brush it off. Chloe asks for details about what they have planned since she stopped planning the wedding.
Fitzgerald Motors
Bea is working on a car when Mark pulls up outside the garage. She's finding the enginge ok that she's working on. Mark hands Bea some paper and she asks what it is. Mark has reprinted her TAFE module. He notices the she takes a while to read through everything. Bea explains that she does it as her way is methodical. Mark tells her a different font and a different colour of paper can help. Bea wonders why he would do this. Mark admits that Elly mentioned dyslexia. Mark reassures her that she shouldn't be ashamed and it is common. Bea insists she is coping. Mark as her boss encourages her as he wants her to succeed. He is willing to change anything here if it will help.
The Waterhole
Chloe is sitting at a table working on her laptop but is distracted. Faye rings on her mobile. Chloe doesn't tell her what has happened, just tells her she had a rough day. Chloe changes the subject and talks about Aaron getting into wedding fever mode. Chloe heads out of the place whilst still on her phone.
Amy comes in and greets Gary and Amy. Gary asks how the test went and Xanthe teases him about confidently asking this. Gary is happy to talk about it now he's had breakfast! Amy tells them it was weird and explains that Rob was the person she talked to this morning. When Xanthe realises who it is she raves about how much of a dreamboat he is! Apparently all the nurses have called him Doug Ross. (Doctor from television programme ER). Amy wouldn't have minded if he had assessed her. Rob walked out though and someone else took over. Amy thinks it's weird. Xanthe points out that it was unethical and he was being a professional doctor.
Harold's café
Amy and David are at a table. Amy is looking at photos on David's phone and think he and Aaron look amazing. Amy points out Chloe wasn't needed and David agrees it's fun doing this by themselves. Rob arrives and David greets him. Rob greets David and nods at Amy.
AMY: Seriously that guy is beyond awkward.
David admits to giving Rob Amy's number. David explains that Rob was embarrassed about what happened over the test so David spoke positively about Amy. Amy wants to know if doctors can set doctors and patients up. David agrees that's not the best idea but brothers are allowed to do this! David tells Amy what a nice guy Rob is and tried to set Mishti up with him recently. David thinks as they're both ambitious and funny she and Rob would make a great couple. Amy points out that Rob can't manage more than two words when talking to her. David thinks Rob is being shy as he likes her. Amy grudgingly agrees to think about giving Rob a chance if he contacts her.
Erinsborough Hospital
Chloe arrives to see Karl who is in his office doing some printing. She checks if it's a bad time as she hasn't made an appointment but he's happy to chat. He's just been printing off some information to give to her. First of all she wants to ask him a question. He agrees that patient confidentiality comes first even though he knows her and her family. She doesn't want to share this with the family until after the wedding. He tries to get her to sit down but she tells him he's also not allowed to tell her family. She doesn't want to spoil all this with the wedding so close. Karl asks if it is ok for them to get married without knowing the facts?
CHLOE: If I thought any of them were in immediate danger I would tell them now but I just spoke to Mum and she's doing really well. So Russell must have been the gene carrier.
Chloe thinks another few weeks won't change anything. Karl points out that it's a lot to cope with by herself. Chloe reminds him that she has him to support her. Chloe promises to tell her family after the wedding has taken place. Karl wants to talk to her now about Huntingdon's Disease and Chloe agrees.
The Waterhole
Aaron and Mark come in and are talking about the wedding. Aaron has found a great jacket that Mark could wear and Mark is happy to look at it after he's finished work. They find Chloe at the bar. Aaron notices that Chloe is drinking but realises it's just after noon! Mark wants to know what the occasion is. Chloe points out a girl doesn't need a reason for a cocktail lunch! Chloe invites them to join her. Aaron points out he's saving money for the wedding bouquet. Aaron is happy to join her if she's paying which she is! Mark reminds them he has to work so won't be drinking. Mark points out she's meant to be saving her money. Chloe thinks that a couple of drinks won't set her back too much. Chloe toasts Aaron in the lead up to the wedding.
Erinsborough High
Bea comes up to Elly who is eating lunch at a table outside. Bea wants to know why Elly would tell Mark what's been happening. Even though he could be Elly's boyfriend Mark is her boss. Bea wants to know why Mark has a right to know what's going on! (There are several people looking on.) Elly claims that wasn't her intention.
BEA: Did you want him to think I was dumb?
Elly reassures her that wasn't her intention and she was concerned about Bea. Mark had wanted to help Bea and didn't think Bea would let Elly help her. Bea doesn't want anything from Elly and tells her to back off. Bea storms off.
