Harold's café
Finn picks the backdoor lock to break into Harold's.

Number 28
Elly announces that she plans on going away down the coast for a couple of days once she's finished her marking. Bea is immediately alarmed and literally pleads (without giving away the true reason) why she doesn't want her sister to go away and eventually Elly relents, she won't go. She does though start asking Bea questions about Patrick and wonders if he actually exists! "He exists," Bea reassures them with but both Elly and Susan think its very odd that she doesn't have a photo of Patrick (the excuse is he doesn't like getting his picture taken) and wonder about his commitment to her.

BEA: We're getting married.

She inadvertently blurts out as a way to shut them up and again, they are astonished to hear the news especially too when Bea doesn't appear to know when she is getting married! To prove that he is real, Bea offers to phone him so that they can meet. Susan seems aghast that he is in town while Elly seems peeved that Bea hasn't taken him to meet the family.

Harold's café/Number 28
Bea calls Finn to inform him that her family know they are engaged and begs him to either come around to meet the family or to let her say they are getting married on Thursday. "That would ruin the surprise," he points out and wants to stick to the original plan.

Number 28
"He can't make it," Bea tells them as she comes in and Elly is already rolling her eyes. Susan tries to suggest that it was a bit short notice and that they can meet him another day.

Harold's café
Finn eventually finds what he was looking for - the clues and answers to the scavenger hunt.

Number 32
Yashvi and Xanthe are sitting at the edge of the pool chatting when Piper drops by to ask Xanthe a question - does she have feelings for Cassius. Xanthe seems almost taken aback at the question but eventually replies "yes" however adds that "it doesn't matter." It does to Piper, she'd never have gone on the date if she known Xanthe's feelings for the guy but Xanthe eventually explains it's because of the deep connection Piper has with him.

XANTHE: Piper, Cassius is the mystery underliner.

Piper is having difficulty processing the information especially as the guy only recently moved to Erinsborough, while the books were appearing long before that. Xanthe isn't sure on the timing but explains that she saw Cassius doing it. "Why would he keep this quiet?" Piper now wonders.

Bea's place
Finn quickly stops watching the live feed from #28 when he hears Bea opening the door. He is all sweetness and like with Bea and wants then to stick to their original wedding plans and then her family will see their true love. Bea still feels guilty for not letting Elly have her time away and wonders now if they should go ahead with the wedding or not, but Finn quickly gets her back on track with his sweettalking.

Harold's café
Dipi explains the rules to those partaking in the scavenger hunt.

Bea's place
Finn takes out the scavenger stuff he stole from the café and starts mark places on a map.

Number 28
Susan gives Xanthe the bad news, something has happened at the school (a fridge has packed up) so won't be able to pair up with her as she's to head into school to sort it out.

Bea's place
Finn has been watching the live feed from #28 and when he sees what Elly is wearing, he goes into Bea's wardrobe to retrieves a bag, which he places at the bottom of their bed.

Ramsay Street
Chloe is trying to persuade Xanthe that she should make a move on Cassius, but the lass doesn't want to because of the deeper connection (over books) that she perceives them to have.

XANTHE: Don't worry about it, it's too hard to explain.

Chloe has an idea to take Xanthe's mind off things - pairing up to do the scavenger hunt.

The Waterhole
Piper calls Cassius and asks if he can come and meet her.

Bea's place
Bea is somewhat surprised by the surprise Finn has given her - a flyer for the scavenger hunt and suggests that they do it together. She isn't sure if he is up for it, but he reassures her that he is and points out she will be the one running around while he sits in the car.

We then find out what was in the bag Finn took out of the cupboard - clothes that are exactly the same as Elly has on. Bea isn't exactly keen on them (as they aren't her usual style) but he persuades her that she will look good on them and also asks that she unbraids her hair because "I love it when you wear it out."

The Waterhole
Cassius arrives to meet Piper and after she shows him a book with underlined passages, he confirms its "just a thing I do." He seems somewhat surprised to hear she's been reading his books for months, so he explains that a few months ago he did pass through and dropped off a load of books he'd been hauling around. What seems to really surprise him is when Piper says that the passages he underlined (because its stuff that gets to him) also gets to her and she felt, even though they'd never met, that they knew each other.

Cassius still seems kinda freaked out and we hear why - he didn't finish high school and didn't feel he had it in him to talk intelligently with her about them. "I would never think that," she quickly replies and then tells him that reading is never a side of himself that he's show before.

Piper then apologises for bailing on their date and actually looks quite upset about it, so he asks if he can buy her a drink now.

Power Street
Bea isn't sure why they've pulled up on Power Street until Finn breaks down the clue fully until she gets the answer - Grease Monkey's and so she heads out to take a picture of the station marker as proof they've found it.

While she is out taking a photo comes onto the scavenger hunt page (Xanthe and Chloe and the selfie they took before embarking on the hunt). When Bea returns to the car, he quizzes her on why Xanthe isn't doing the hunt with Susan and the best she comes up with is "I guess she changed her mind."

Somewhere
Xanthe seems to have a better idea of where the clue she and Chloe are working on will take them to - Lovers Lane.

Service station
Bea returns with supplies before they head to where the next marker is - a comfort station in the national park. Finn's demeanour changes when Bea remarks that Chloe and Xanthe have only a few more to go, so he now says that perhaps it has been too much for him as his legs hurt, and suggests they head home.

National Park
Chloe and Xanthe chat about their perspectives on love as they head to get the next clue. Xanthe opens up to her about Finn and how he used her love for him against her. "Made me his puppet until they locked him up," she tells her friend before clamming up because she doesn't like talking about it.

CHLOE: He's gone now, right?
XANTHE: Yes.
CHLOE: Good. Sounds like a major creeper.

The Waterhole
Dipi and the rest of her family are surprised that the participants have gotten through the scavenger hunt quicker than the thought they would. Shane remarks that perhaps they should have made the questions harder!

Meanwhile, Piper and Cassius do seem to have clicked over their mutual love of reading. She asks that he doesn't keep things from her or lie to her... which he agrees to moments before they pash.

Bea's place
While Bea is in the bathroom, Finn takes a risk to get out of his wheelchair to go into her bag and put her phone in his jacket pocket. When she comes out, she is surprised to see him in the wheelchair as he was supposed to be having a lie down, but he explains that the painkiller has worked plus he needs to go out on a special mission too - working on his vows. She volunteers to go out, but he reassures her that he will as he is feeling so much better.

Number 28
Elly is in the middle of marking when she gets a text from Bea with the pin drop of a location she wants her to come to and the message 'EMERGENCY PLEASE COME'. Despite having been drinking a glass of wine, Elly grabs her keys and calls Bea to say she is on her way.

Bush
Elly gets to the where the location is but there is no sign of Bea. She leaves the car unattended (and the door wide open) and runs into the trees looking for her sister. When she hears footsteps, Elly immediately stops, listens then shouts again for her sister but of course she isn't there. But someone of course is, and those footsteps translate into that person getting into her unattended car and driving off!

Number 22
Cassius and Piper have now relocated to #22 and are talking books - turns out that they both love the same book (The Girls) which is one that Cassius put into the book exchange. When she talks about a particular passage in it that was underlined (about fairness), he gets quite evasive on his reasoning before eventually explaining.

CASSIUS: When you're a kid, you get a lot of messages about what's fair and right. You got to share your toys and tell the truth, all of that. But then you start to realise that other people don't play by the rules, even though you do. And that bad things happen, even though you do the right things. And its just this huge shock because if there aren't any rules or fairness, then it's just you against the world.
PIPER: Yes. I guess that is a pretty rude awakening.
CASSIUS: Exactly.

National Park
Chloe and Xanthe eventually find the final answer and go to let the world know they've found it before heading home. Someone has been watching them and we find out who took Elly's car - Finn! He sits revving the engine before surging towards the ladies and because they had their back to him, it's not until the very last minute that they see the car.

Xanthe happens to turn around, and catches the eye of Finn, before realising what is going to happen and shoves Chloe out of the way before taking the brunt of the impact herself!
