Recap
- Karl is made to stand down from the Liveability Committee and Shane takes his place.
- Amy confronts Paul and Leo about planting medicine in Nick's hotel room. Amy infers that it was Leo and he doesn't correct her.
- Mishti asks Leo if he asked her on a date just so she could be his alibi.
- Paul tells Amy and Terese that he set Nick up. Amy says that she and Jimmy will move out if Paul doesn't confess.
- Tyler and Aaron observe that the Ace of Spades is missing from their father's deck of cards.
- A newcomer introduces himself as Hamish Roche - Tyler's biological father.
Penthouse
Amy is packing while Paul tries to talk her down. Jimmy comes in and Amy asks him to go and tidy his room. She tells Paul that she means what she said about moving out. Paul relents and says he'll confess to the police.
Harold's Cafe
Shane is hiding from Karl in the kitchen, much to Dipi's amusement. She makes him takes Karl's order out to him.
Karl and Shane talk awkwardly about the committee. Karl says he has a secret weapon to help him with stress relief - but Shane has to keep it a secret.
Garage
Tyler and Ben are discussing Hamish. Tyler isn't sure what he can talk to Hamish about - he's rich and sophisticated and Tyler...isn't. Ben says that if he had the chance to get to know his own father he'd be stoked - Tyler has the opportunity and it's only for one day. Tyler agrees that Ben is right.
Hotel
Paul tells Terese and Toadie that he's about the confess. Toadie says it's doesn't matter - Nick has assaulted a guard while in custody, so now he's back in jail. Paul takes this in and says there's no point him confessing now!
TERESE: Please. For once in your life...do the right thing.
Lassiter's Office
Gary has spoken to Clive and got assurance that the immunotherpay trial will carry on without Nick. Terese is relieved. She's worried that Nick will have difficulties in prison, but Gary assures her that Nick is respected in jail.
Terese tells him that Paul set Nick up, but now he's not going to confess.
GARY: It only goes to prove again, doesn't it? That Paul can never be trusted.
Penthouse
Paul tells Amy what has happened with Nick assaulting the guard. She still wants him to confess to the police but he won't. She tells Jimmy to pack his things. Jimmy says he doesn't want to move out but she bustles him off.
Harold's Cafe (Kitchen)
Shane has followed Karl's advice and got a massage at the day spa - he feels really relaxed now. Dipi says that one of the schoolkids must have stolen from the tip jar, but Shane tells her that it was him(!) Dipi is not impressed. Shane awkwardly explains that he had to give Courtney a big tip to match Karl's. Dipi protests that there was over fifty dollars in the tip jar! Shane makes a sharp exit.
In the shop, Leo is on the phone to Paul. Steph passes by and says that she's glad she's cutting business ties with Paul and Leo. Leo insists that they were both trying to do the right thing.
STEPH: Yeah? Maybe you should try telling that to Amy.
Marina
Tyler and Hamish are hanging out. Tyler turns the engine over and it doesn't start. He goes down to have a look at the engine. They talk about their different careers. He tells Tyler that he really cared about his mum and that nobody has ever really come up to her.
Pub
Jimmy demands to know what Paul has done. Amy explains that Paul set Nick up. Gary invites Amy and Jimmy to come back to No.26. He says he'll text Sheila and ask her.
No.26
Sheila is telling Susan and Dipi that Terese has given her the green sofa to replace hers. Susan asks if either of them are wrapped in plastic(!) Dipi tells them about Shane's massage with Courtney.
DIPI: I don't know what she does over there, but he tipped her fifty bucks!
SUSAN AND SHEILA: Fifty?!
DIPI: I know! That's half the massage fee again!
SHEILA: Well, I hope that she is peeling grapes and hand-feeding them to him for that price.
Dipi goes on to explain that Karl told Shane to tip fifty bucks! Susan looks very surprised.
SUSAN: No way! Karl parting with money unnecessarily? Never going to happen.
She picks up her phone and says she'll check the account the Karl uses.
SUSAN: I can't believe I'm saying this. Karl paid an extra fifty dollars as well!
DIPI: Well, I for one am now going to stand for this. I'm going to remind my husband exactly what he has at home and give him a massage to remember!
Susan wonders if she should do the same!
No.26
Amy and Jimmy have arrived. Sheila is very happy for them to move back in. She tells Jimmy to put his belongings in his room so they don't draw focus from the amazing macrame she and Xanthe made(!) Amy tries not to cringe too hard! She also reminds them not to knock her husband's ashes jar over(!)
Leo turns up and tells Amy he wants her to come home. Leo says that he only tried to take the fall for Paul to help him out. He warns her that Paul becomes unpredictable when he's rejected.
Marina
Tyler and Hamish are having a beer. They talk about Russell a bit. Tyler reveals that Aaron has been leaving messages on Russell's phone as it helps him. Tyler thinks it's a bit silly, though.
HAMISH: Whatever gets you through the day is OK. Nobody's going to listen to it, after all. You can get a lot off your chest.
Tyler says he doesn't even know where his father's phone is - it's seems to have got mislaid, but is probably somewhere in with his stuff.
No.26
Gary is cooking. Amy has called Toadie - apparently Nick is not getting out. Terese says that she's glad Amy has moved to No.26 as she'll be company for Sheila once she and Gary are living together at No.22.
Amy observes that the green sofa is really comfy and is surprised that Terese threw it out(!)
Jimmy comes out having unpacked. He says he understands why they had to move out of the penthouse.
Penthouse
Paul is ranting to Leo about Amy and Jimmy moving in with the Cannings.
PAUL: They've chosen to live with a petty criminal like Gary Canning over me! He's no better than me, morally! He's a hell of a lot worse in every other way!
Leo thinks that Paul is upset that Terese is still with Gary. He suggests that Paul moves things along with Terese - there isn't much time left before the wedding, so he should do something big.
Marina
Tyler has decided to ring Russell's phone.
TYLER: Hi, Dad. This is hard to say but I think I need to talk this out. There's sometimes I catch you looking at me like I've done something to make you hate me. you were so angry. And, you know, now I know why. It's because I wasn't yours. You know, maybe you wanted the boat to remind us of you. But part of me thinks it'd be better to sell. I don't want to live in the past anymore.
He ends the call.
Garden of No.32
Dipi is dressed in provacative underwear and is waiting for Shane.

Susan is dressed in a dressing gown and is waiting for Karl. The blue box is on the table.

Shane wanders in and is rather surprised to see Dipi in her underwear. She says she's going to give him a special massage. Shane looks rather worried.

Susan is dressed in underwear and a pink wig. Karl comes in from the garden and gets a shock!
SUSAN:(in a northern European accent) Hello, Doctor Kennedy. i am Inga and for the special massage, I am here for you.
Karl just stands there with his jaw dropped.
Garden of No.32
Dipi is not impressed that Shane doesn't want a massage (because he's already had one today!)
DIPI: So she satisfied you, did she?!

Karl tells Susan that he doesn't want a massage as he's "pottering"
SUSAN: I am dressed up like a Swedish masseuse for you!
Karl says that he has had a massage today. Susan tells him that she knows about the fifty dollar tip and Karl looks worried(!)

Dipi is not impressed at Shane's "rejection" of her.

Susan is not impressed at Karl's "rejection" of her. She stalks off, taking the blue box with her!
Marina
Tyler tells Hamish that leaving a message on Russell's answerphone did help him get some things off his chest.
Hamish suggests that they could play golf and invite Mark and Aaron. Tyler agrees but says he'l have to check in at the garage first. Hamish says he'd like to se where Tyler works. He'll secure the boat and then follow Tyler out.
When Tyler has disembarked, Hamish takes a phone with a cracked screen out his pocket. It's clearly Russell's missing phone. He puts the phone to his ear and listens to Tyler's message.
