Previously
- Toadie denying he was responsible for clearing up the storm damage at the nursery.
- Someone watching on unseen as Steph and Sonya discuss the mystery helper.
- Piper enlisting Xanthe to help her play video games as part of an assignment but being disappointed at the women in them.
- Terese's oncologist telling her the treatment plan.
The Terrace
Terese tells Paul about how her gut instincts said the initial results were wrong, so she got them to repeat the tests and that she has breast cancer. "I know this is going to be scary but I just want you to know that you're not alone in this, alright?" he reassures her with.
The Waterhole
Amy tries to ignore Jimmy questioning her why they aren't spending the day with Paul like they were supposed to. After they run into an agitated Toadie (he feels he can't put a foot right with Sonya just now), she invites him to join their footy kick around (how she's distracting Jimmy) and he agrees to it. "I might even have a few tricks I can teach you," Toadie tells the lad in preparation for his big game coming up.
Garage
Piper is ranting off to Tyler about how awful the women in the games she was playing were. "I thought things were getting better," Ben suggests.
PIPER: Oh, please. Misogynistic men are everywhere. I mean, look at the women on our own street. Look at what they have had to go through. Xanthe being used by Finn, Sonya being bullied by Tim Collins, and Amy being sexualised by half the men in Erinsborough.
TYLER: Well, she was cleaning in her lingerie.
PIPER: So what? It was a job. And it doesn't give anyone the right to humiliate her in front of her kid.
TYLER: True.
PIPER: Honestly, I am so glad that we got given this media assignment. It's just... It's reminded me just how far we have to go.
BEN: Shame it's only for school. Heaps of people probably never think about this.
Lassiters Park
Toadie plays footy with Jimmy while discussing with Amy about how he feels about being left out of doing things with his family. He's a bit bemused with some of the things Amy is saying, so she explains that she's "just watched Dad follow his instincts with Leo and I think he's made some choices that he'll really regret," and reverting it back to him, suggests that backing off might not necessarily be a bad thing.
TOADIE: So, back off to show my family that I love them?
AMY: Seems nuts... but space is sometimes the best thing for everyone.
Harold's café
Steph helps Piper into the café before going back to her cuppa. Susan asks how Xanthe is doing and Piper replies "it's like she's not even upset, she's completely numb to everything," and after confirming she doesn't plan to return to school adds that she'd have blitzed the media assignment too. Elly is impressed to hear Piper say she's almost finished it and Susan asks if she found anything interesting. "Depressing!" is how Piper describes her findings then goes onto say that she feels like she's rewound back in time to the Middle Ages with how the women are being portrayed.
Steph joins in in the conversation when they start talking about "unrealistic gender roles which never seems to work in our favour," and tells them of her experience being a mechanic where she'd to work "twice as hard as all the guys just to keep afloat." "That sucks," is Piper's take on it and the ladies encourage her to go along with her idea to do a vlog on the subject.
The Waterhole
Terese thanks Paul for listening to her since he knows what she is going through. She confirms she hasn't told anyone yet and explains why - Gary struggled when she was getting the initial tests done and Piper doesn't need the extra worry. "That's what families are for," Paul points out and adds that people, including Gary, can surprise her.
TERESE: Yeah, but what if he doesn't? I don't have the energy to hold his hand if he goes to water. I need everything that I've got to fight this. I want you to respect that, Paul. I mean it. You...you can't tell anyone.
PAUL: They're going to find out.
TERESE: No, no, no. My oncologist said that we can get control of it quickly, so no-one needs to know. Promise me.
Number 30/Lassiters Park
Lying on her bed, Sonya is reading Nell a story when they hear a noise outside. Sonya thinks it is Toadie and calls him to check. It's definitely not Toadie as he's still playing footy with Jimmy and Amy. He can sense during the call that she is worried, especially as she can't see anyone, so he immediately heads to the house.
Number 26
Terese arrives for her lunch date with Gary and it's his intention to spoil her. She lies to him about her meeting and instead focuses attention on him.
Number 22
Paige watches on as Piper makes her vlog about living in a "patriarchal society" and thinks media is forcing this idea. She comments on something in one of the games where a woman is kidnapped and thrown into a car and the player actually receives points for doing this. Alarm bells immediately go off for Paige, remembering what Chas did to her sister, but Piper reassures her sister she is okay but wonders if it's "too much to talk about him?" Paige asks if she thinks other women are going to get something out of it (nod of the head) then almost questions her as to why she wouldn't say it.
PAIGE: This is your story. You lived it. You've got the right to tell it.
Piper then resumes filming, describing what Chas did before reminding her viewers what her message is - "we shouldn't let anyone brainwash us, especially the media."
Number 30
Toadie couldn't find anyone outside, and as a precaution has taken Nell over to #32, however thinks that there has been some stuff moved. Sonya wonders if it was Amy but Toadie knows that she's down by the lake with Jimmy. She apologises for wasting his time, thinking she simply overreacted, however turns down his suggestion of him sticking around.
SONYA: I really need to learn to stop calling you like this. It's really not good for either of us.
TOADIE: I know you're trying not to confuse...
SONYA: Please, Jarrod. Just...
TOADIE: Okay, I'm going.
Robinsons motel
Steph is pleased to see Paul return to work but he's got something, well rather someone on his mind, and tells her (without mentioning names) about being given some news which is pretty hard to take and doesn't like the approach they plan on taking.
STEPH: You sound pretty invested, which is nice, especially considering we weren't always convinced you had a heart.
He is really unsure what to do although Steph thinks that whoever it is, they'll be glad he is behind them, even if it's to simply standing by and "catch them if they fall."
Number 22
Piper is pleased at the number of hits her latest vlog is getting. "See this is what happens when you post something that matters," Tyler adds and is pleased she got to unload about Chas too. Chas isn't impressed though, and sends Piper a text bluntly telling her that! "Looks pretty angry," Tyler thinks and Ben backs him up too but Piper isn't concerned as they've already sorting things out between them and instead wants to concentrate on burning some video games!
Lassiters Complex
Amy is surprised to see Toadie back so soon and he tells her it was a false alarm. He confirms Sonya is still at home as she wants to drop round some paint samples including his favourite, after-dinner mint, for the feature wall. "I don't know where I stand with her anymore," Toadie admits as "one minute she's pulling me closer, the next, she's pushing me away." Amy repeats that Sonya has been explicit with her demand to be independent, which confuses Toadie especially when she phones him when things go wrong. Amy thinks that she is simply calling him out of habit and her suggestion is to simply contact her when discussing Nell or the house, "it's probably all your relationship can take right now."
The Waterhole
Paul is agreeing to Terese's request to keep her secret if she will agree to his 3 conditions: first she gets a second opinion so she gets the best plan possible, second is she cannot trust her assistant with any of this as he's incompetent and indiscreet - that one is very easy for her to accept and wishes she could sack Val but he's a family friend of the Udagawa's so can't be relieved of his duties. The final condition is that she does not put on a brave face for him.
PAUL: You can be as noble as you want with the rest of your family, but I get the truth.
TERESE: What, about my treatment plan?
PAUL: About your treatment, how things are going at work, how you are feeling - all of it. Terese, you have no idea of the path you are going down doing this by yourself. How tough it is going to be, how lonely.
TERESE: And what's in it for you?
PAUL: You. I only like a handful of people. I can't afford to lose any of them. So, I want you to know that I am there for you - day or night, whatever you need. All you have to do is let me.
"Deal?" Paul asks and extends his hand and after a moments pause, Terese reaches out with her hand and shakes his hand.
Number 22
Susan and Elly come over to see Piper but they're not there for a social visit, they are round to see if she's been looking at the comments the vlog has attracted? "Briefly," Piper replies and agrees with Elly that there are some negative comments but "that's only to be expected, right?" "Have you seen the recent comments?" Elly asks with a concerned look on her face and Piper replies no, she stopped reading them.
PIPER: Who cares what a bunch of mouth-breathers think?
SUSAN: Um, I think you'd better take another look.
Piper reaches over for her laptop and goes to look at the comments and is astonished at the "abuse" being written. Elly points out that someone in particular seems to be encouraging everyone else - Piper knows who that someone is, it's Chas, her ex. She knew he'd mouth off a bit but would then be cool, which Elly can see that is what did happen.
ELLY: But the harassment continued. It's not slowing down. It's getting worse. Much worse.
Ramsay Street
Sonya makes her way out of the house and hears a noise coming from the side of the house. She goes towards the gate to the backyard and calls out "Jarrod, is that you?" Suddenly, someone wearing a hoodie, makes a run for it past her but Sonya grabs them they fall to the ground. Sonya pulls the hoodie back and finds out who the intruder was - Willow!
Unmissable Neighbours

- Sonya telling Mark that Willow is back.
- Toadie after answers from Willow.
- Sonya fearful of what happens if Toadie and Willow bond.
- Sonya trying to warn Toadie.
