Toadie, Shane, Dipi and Mishti are sitting around the table. Dipi reads out the headline about Sonya launching the campaign by getting drunk. She wonders if Sonya has seen it yet, Toadie hopes she hasn't.

No.24
Paige is reading over Mark's shoulder and comments how unfair it is. Sonya is being hung out to dry after one slip up. Mark admits it wasn't the only slip up as Tyler brings drinks to the table. Tyler and Paige realise Mark knew about other times.

No.26 Backyard
Gary and Brooke are sitting in the garden. Gary speculates that after reading this Toadie will want to keep Nell away from Sonya. Brooke reminds Gary that Sonya is the mother.

No.32
Mishti comments that Sonya isn't in a good place. Toadie agrees after what he's put Sonya through.

MISHTI: I know it's hard but remember Sonya did have a choice in this.

Shane reminds Mishti that it's not about who's to blame and it won't help anyone.

Piper is lying on the sofa and Terese is at the side. Piper is wishing they were able to do something about it, be able to help.

TERESE: All those years clean and sober. This is what people will remember.

No.26 Backyard
Brooke comments that for a long time the scandal will follow Sonya around. She feels sorry for Nell as she remember it, Xanthe and Jessie do. Gary reminds Brooke that she has sorted things out with Xanthe. Sheila comes out into the backyard. Gary says Jessie should come around and a second chance is deserved by everyone. Sheila realises they've also seen the article and says that Sonya will be ok.

Mark explains that Sonya seems to be able to control the situation but he should have done more. Paige wonders what Mark plans to do next.

No.26
Sonya is in bed and Steph is waking her up. Sonya wakes up and wonders how she got to her bed. Steph tells her she brought her home. Sonya only remembers being at The Waterhole. Steph offers Sonya a cold drink and Sonya asks how bad she got.

STEPH: I bought you home when you started abusing people.

Sonya apologises to Steph. Steph looks at her and Sonya wonders what else there is. Steph shows Sonya the headline on her phone without speaking. Sonya looks at it in despair.

No.32
Yashvi comes in and claims whatever happened she didn't do it! Dipi agrees they know that. Yashvi comments that somebody did do it and Shane tells her to forget about it. Mishti explains she hadn't meant it as a go at Sonya, she's worried about Nell. Whilst Sonya gets herself together Nell needs to be with Toadie. Dipi thinks that it will make it worse for everyone to keep a child away from their mother. Mishti wonders if things could get worse.

No.22
Terese answers the door to Tyler. She is glad to see him as it saved phoning him. Tyler promises the car should be ready this morning. It was ready yesterday but he needed to see Toadie. Tyler tells Piper he's had a chance to look online to find some good places to live. Terese points out they don't need to rush as Piper is now here. Tyler reminds Terese they planned to rent together. Piper points out nowhere is suitable yet but Terese thinks they shouldn't take chances on Piper's recovery. Tyler promises to keep looking.

TERESE: I think it's safe to say that property is not your strong suit Tyler.

Tyler promises the next place will be comfortable and safe, plus different from the Backpackers. Terese walks off.

Tyler wonders if Terese will use any more guilt tripping to get Piper to agree to stay put. Piper points out that Terese is worried and so is Piper. After doing some thinking, Piper is coming round to the idea of staying at No22 for a while. Tyler reckons he won't be part of it. Piper reminds him she and Terese need each other at the moment and he will be next door. Tyler doesn't look so impressed.

No.32
Toadie is telling the family he can't afford to take time off as he's only got three clients right now. Yashvi announces she's of more use here so school can wait. Dipi wants to know more about this! Yashvi points out that someone needs to look after Nell as Toadie needs to work. Shane says it won't work and he'll give them both a lift to school. Shane wryly comments they'll need to pay Yashvi to attend school soon! Dipi points out that is easier said than done as they owe Mishti money. Shane casually asks if she knows about it, she does as she found the IOU note. They shouldn't think she'll help him collect the $100,000. She points out she's told Mishti to run before when he mentions Monopoly! He will mortgage everything and leave Mishti with nothing.

Sonya comes in, she knocked but they haven't heard her. She refuses food or drink and Toadie asks how she is. She thanks Toadie for having Nell but wants to take her back now. Toadie wants to have a chat but Sonya doesn't have time. Toadie is sure she'll find five minutes.

Ramsay Street
Toadie wants to know how Sonya is doing, she's fine. Toadie wants to help her but she refuses, she's able to look after herself. Toadie says they both know it's beyond that now. She knows she's got a problem but still wants to take Nell home. Toadie isn't so agreeable. Mark comes and listens from a distance. Sonya points out Nell won't be in danger. Toadie knows Sonya would never intend to hurt Nell or anyone else. It's too unpredictable though when they're dealing with complex issues.

TOADIE: I'm sorry for what I've done. I'm sorry I've pushed you to this place.

Steph comes out. She hates to interrupt but the council keep ringing Sonya's phone and she needs to ring them back. Sonya promises to ring them straight away. Sonya asks Toadie to take Nell to daycare. As Nell has been clingy lately Toadie plans to hold onto her. Sonya asks about his work, Toadie comments work will have to wait.

No.26 Backyard
Gary and Brooke are by the covered hot tub. Gary tells Brooke that they'll head straight to the hotel. They'll wait for Brian and Jessie to arrive in the spot they have planned to park in. Brian and Jessie will check in while they wait by the ballroom. Brooke will put in a call to get Jessie to come to the front desk when Brian heads to the conference. Gary says they plan to bring Jessie back here to see how great Erinsborough is. Brooke agrees she can show Jessie the great life Brooke is building for them here. Gary agrees Malaysia won't happen and Brooke hopes that will be the case. She wants Jessie and Xanthe to get on with each other. Brooke comments she can't do that if Jessie is in another country.

Sheila comes outside and wants to know who is in another country. Gary asks why Sheila isn't at work. Sheila starts later and wants to know why Gary isn't at work. Gary claims his throat is a bit scratchy. Sheila claims she's heard that particular cough for over forty years, it usually means he's up to something! Sheila wants to know what exactly is going on between Brooke and Gary. They need to start talking!

Harold's Cafe
Shane thinks they should say something but Mishti isn't so sure. She points out Shane wouldn't want to upset Dipi. Shane also doesn't want to lie, Mishti points out they didn't actually lie. When she assumed the IOU was about Monopoly money, they didn't correct her. Mishti reminds him they're here to make Dipi's dreams come true. They agree they're both feeling good about that. Mishti tells him to give himself a break.

Tyler and Paige come in, Paige has her work apron on. Tyler is saying that each thing he does for Piper blows up. Paige doubts it's that bad. Piper has agreed to stay at No22 without checking out the rental properties. Tyler is sure that Terese is now judging him after what happened with T-Bone. Paige points out it might not be about Tyler. Paige reminds him that Piper needs Terese as she recovers. Girls need to be around their Mums at times like these. Tyler asks where Lauren is considering her baby is upside down. Paige explains it's actually called breach and she hasn't told Lauren as Matilda is sick. Amber needs Lauren more. Paige reassures Tyler she will be fine. It's natural for Piper though to want to be at home after a serious accident. Paige explains that Tyler sorting things out with Terese will help Piper.

No.26 Backyard
Sheila is not impressed! Gary says they're not doing something illegal. Sheila reminds them they'll get arrested if they whisk Jessie away without authorisation.

SHEILA: You must really like prison if you're so keen to go back there!

Brooke tells Sheila she doesn't understand. Sheila claims she understands as Naomi ran away countless times. Sheila wanted to head for the hills but she wouldn't have been able to sort things out that way. Brooke is convinced if they do this it will show Jessie how much she loves her. Sheila point out it'll show they're sneaking behind Brian's back. If Brian catches them everything will explode! Brooke insists they haven't got another option. Brooke hasn't got another way of getting in touch before they go to Malaysia. Sheila thinks at the moment Jessie needs to keep her distance from Brooke. Gary points out Jessie has changed her number. Sheila agrees that Jessie hasn't been in contact when knowing she'll be in Melbourne. Brooke insists she is now sorting her life out and they can't end things like this. Sheila promises it'll work out if they give it time. Jessie will contact them when she's ready. They'll play into Brian's hands if they go ahead with this plan and lose Jessie.

Council Offices
Sonya is on the phone when Terese comes in. She's talking about signing off on a order and rings off when she notices Terese. Terese comments on the order. Sonya explains it's connected to the Erinsborough Beautification Suburb Campaign competition. They're very invested in them winning the competition. Sonya realises Terese is here about the headlines this morning. Terese thought Sonya might need someone to talk to. Sonya thanks her but the councillors have called a meeting. Terese is baffled it is due to the fact that Tim Collins made a big deal out of it.

SONYA: I would really like to hide behind that fact but I was the one who chose to drink.

Terese is pleased Sonya is claiming responsibility. Terese offers to stay and support Sonya, Sonya would be grateful if Terese would do this.

No.32
Toadie explains to a client over the phone that he has an important reason why he has to cancel today. He thanks them for understanding and promises it won't happen again. He apologises to Nell for making so many phone calls and joins in her game. Toadie asks if Sonya plays a lot, Nell explains she is sad. Toadie asks if Nell is ok, she tells him to come home. Toadie promises her he's working on doing just that and they hug. He promises her he's working on a way they can spend more time together. Toadie gets a text from Steph telling him that Sonya has been fired.

Council Offices
Steph has joined Terese and Sonya. Steph points out that the people elected Sonya. Sonya reminds them that if there's a majority vote of no confidence the council can remove the Mayor. Terese is horrified Sonya has no sympathy from the councillors and thinks it's ridiculous. Sonya reminds them the Mayor needs clear judgement, it seems that Sonya has blinkers on. Steph points out all Sonya's hard work including the Campaign, Sonya says that someone will pick up the campaign. Sonya wants to know who will do it, Sonya explains they will have an interim Mayor until the next election takes place. Sonya asks for some time to herself. Terese asks if that's the right thing to do, Sonya insists she will be fine.

Road Outside Grease Monkeys
Ben and Tyler come over from Grease Monkeys. Tyler wants Ben to check the cables, Ben insists it's fine. Tyler doesn't want to upset Terese! Tyler tells Terese that it will be ready in about ten minutes. Tyler comments he's been thinking about what's best for Piper and her recovery. He admits it's best if Piper stays at Terese's and Terese is pleased to hear this. They agree to always make a plan to help look after Piper. Tyler knows Terese thinks he's a waste of space and shouldn't hang around Piper. Terese tells him she doesn't consider him a waste of space. She knows he's good for Piper and he loves her. He asks why he always seems to be fighting to be accepted and them to be seen as the real deal.

TERESE: Look I've been against you for so long now. I finally realised that it's not worth it. I don't want anything coming between Piper and I.

Tyler realises Terese is letting Piper go. Terese agrees they're family as well as neighbours and hands him a key to No22. She tells him that he and Piper can come and go as they want to. Tyler is not sure what to say!

Council Offices
Mark arrives and Sonya realises word is getting out about her being fired. Mark asks how she is, Sonya is feeling humiliated. Mark points out she made a mistake, she doesn't deserve this. Sonya thinks it's the best thing to do though. She says she's been struggling to juggle being Mayor, the business and looking after Nell. She doesn't feel like she's the Mum she wants to be. Mark reassures her she's a great Mum. As she's a great Mayor he recommends she should fight this. Sonya points out she has been fighting, she regrets not being there enough for Nell and wants to spend time with her. She wants to make sure Nell will be ok and fight through this mess.

Lassiter's Lake
Brooke and Gary are sitting on a bench. Brooke is looking at the photo of a young Xanthe and Jessie. She talks about how she was everything to Jessie back then. Gary admits that Sheila has a point, they shouldn't do anything rash. Brooke is worried he wants to back out. Gary promises to support her whatever happens but wants to know how important it is and mentions giving Jessie space. Brooke reminds him that Jessie is leaving the country. Before Brian at poisons Jessie against her again, this is her last chance. Gary wants to know what happens if they scare Jessie off. Brooke declares she loves Jessie. Brooke declares that Jessie will be reminded of that when she sees the lengths Brooke has gone to.

Gary's phone rings and he answers it, it's Terese whom is by some trees. She has an offer she doesn't think he'll refuse, dinner at hers tonight. Gary wants to but has something he needs to do right now. Terese asks if it's another family issue. Gary agrees that is the case and Terese reluctantly agrees believes him. Terese walks along and Gary's voice becomes feedback as he seems to be close by. Terese hangs up and spots Brooke and Gary through the trees. Brooke tells Gary he's a good man and they hug and they get into Gary's car.

No.22
Piper is double checking that Terese actually gave him the key and he hasn't stolen it. Piper is ecstatic when Tyler confirms this but notices Tyler doesn't seem so happy. Tyler reminds her they already had their own place and their own life, they don't anymore. Piper reminds him she still loves him and not having their own place doesn't mean anything. He feels they're going backwards. He reminds her it's them plus Terese but he understands why she needs to be at No.22. Terese and Piper need each other right now and Piper agrees. Piper admits now she's back at home she doesn't think about the accident so much.

PIPER: It just keeps playing over and over in my head again. I just start thinking about Josh and how he would have felt when he was trapped.

Tyler reassures her that she's got him and Terese. They'll always be here for her. She admits she keeps seeing the ute smashing into her. Tyler reassures her they'll catch the person whom did it. It will then stop.

Outside Ridgeways Hotel
Gary and Brooke are standing outside the hotel as Terese watches them from inside her car. Brooke is worried about if Jessie will listen to her. Gary reassures Brooke that she will get through to Jessie. Gary reminds her that Brooke is Jessie's Mum. Brooke loves Jessie and deep down Jessie loves her too. They head into the hotel.

No.30
Toadie is talking to Sonya on the doorstep. Toadie realises that Sonya was actually fined. Sonya says she'll get to spend more time with Nell so she's trying to look on the bright side. Sonya thought Toadie might have come to drop Nell off. Toadie admits Karl has taken Nell to the lake to go fairy hunting. He reminds her they need to finish talking about Nell's living arrangements. Sonya declares he can't take Nell away from her. Toadie claims he's not trying to hurt Sonya. They argue over Nell and Sonya is going to go and pick up Nell. Toadie declares that Nell is going to stay with him until Sonya is better.
