Gary shows off his bling. Sheila thinks Gary looks beautiful, while Xanthe jokes that he's an idiot. Brooke arrives and smiles watching them, before getting a text from Mack which says the order is on the way. Brooke nervously goes into the kitchen. As Gary struggles to get the ring off, Xanthe checks on Brooke who says she's okay, but looks guilty as she watches Gary with the jewellery.

Number 32 Backyard @ The Doug Out
Lou tells Brad he's been in Brisbane for a while now since he left Cambodia, spending time with the grandkids, so he's been spending a lot of time with Kathy. They've been getting along and they have a lot in common.

Number 32
Kathy tells Lauren that one night Bailey and Amber were out with friends, so Kathy and Lou offered to babysit. Kathy wanted a night alone so thought she'd feed Lou up quick to get rid of him.

The Doug Out
Lou continues the story to Brad, making it sound like Kathy was trying to romance him. Lou says Kathy's still a very attractive woman.

Number 32
Kathy tells Lauren she was hinting to Lou that he should have an early night. She says Lou's still very charismatic. The following morning when she woke up Lou was gone.

The Doug Out
Lou says he woke up and heard Kathy shout 'get out.' So Lou got his things and left.

Kathy says when she woke up Lou was gone without a note. She didn't want to be alone so she came here. She thinks the night with Lou was a mistake.

Lou says he came down here, but he knows it was a mistake with a Kathy.

Toadie offers Mark and Steph breakfast but they can't eat before their hospital appointment. Toadie wishes them good luck.

Harold's
Toadie and Terese order from Xanthe, talking about the success of the jewellery party. Terese asks how long her mum is staying and is clearly annoyed to learn it'll be for good. As Xanthe goes to get their orders, Toadie asks Terese how she feels about Gary. He suggests she tells him that she misses him as he knows Gary was really into her. Life's too short, she should tell him how she feels.

Number 32
Paige asks why Lou stayed at the motel instead of here. Brad suggests Lou was scared that Kathy would jump him again, like she did in Queensland. Lauren says that isn't what happened. They explain what they were told by Lou and Kathy. Paige tells Kathy about what Lou said and asks if she told him to get out that morning. Kathy thinks about it and realises she had said get out to the cat who is always on the bed. Paige realises that's why Lou left. Brad and Lauren laugh.

Erinsborough Hospital
Victoria talks through the fertilisation procedure with Mark, Sonya and Steph. If they successfully fertilise the eggs then the embryos can then be implanted into Sonya's womb. As Victoria leaves, Sonya, Steph and Mark excitedly hold hands.

Lassiter's Complex
Outside Harold's, Paige explains to Lou that Kathy didn't want rid of him, she was talking to the cat. Lou thinks Kathy is still angry at her though.

Kathy tells Paige she enjoyed those weeks together with Lou and the grandkids, the spark was still there. She says if it wasn't the cat business, it would be something else. It never lasts with Lou.

Lassiter's Complex
Paige tells Lou to convince Kathy she still cares, there's a chance they could get back together.

Erinsborough Hospital
Mark enters the waiting area nervously, using some hand sanitiser. Sonya can't keep a straight face.

SONYA: Job done?
MARK: Yep.
SONYA: No issues?
MARK: Nope.
SONYA: Can I just ask you some...
MARK: No!

She says that if she can ask him a question, he can ask her anything. He agrees. She asks if it was a normal room and if they gave him a chair. Mark says there was a couch and a lock on the door, which he checked twice.

SONYA: And did they give you any...
MARK: Let's just keep some mystery about it, shall we?

Sonya laughs. Mark asks Sonya his question. He wonders what it is like having a baby inside her. She explains it is strange. In the first few months you don't feel it, but your whole body feels different, like it isn't yours anymore. Then she felt the baby moving around and she could even feel Nell hiccupping. Mark wonders if he'd be able to feel that, and if he'd need Toadie's permission to touch Sonya's belly. Sonya thinks Toadie knows they're all in it together. Sonya says she felt a huge emotional weight with the baby.

SONYA: It's this incredible privilege to be carrying a little beating heart inside you and it's not just the baby. There's a whole life in there, it's a person who will be born and will grow up and will fall in love and they may then even have children of their own. That's all in there, right from the start it's all there. That's what it's like.

Mark smiles.

Number 26
Gary comes back in having cleaned his chicken coop. Brooke asks if Gary has been seeing any women. She asks about Terese, as he mentioned her quite a few times on Family Feud, she wonders if there is some connection. Gary admits he had a thing with Terese but it ended, as he isn't the type of bloke that Terese wants to be seen with. Gary thinks Terese was out of his league, but Brooke thinks Terese didn't deserve him. Brooke says he's a generous, kind, gentle bloke and he needs someone who appreciates that. As she affectionately rubs his ear, Gary recoils and tells her he needs to go.

Number 32
Paige and Lou enter. Paige tells Kathy that Lou had a wonderful time the other night, and tries to get Kathy to admit that she thought there was some magic in the air. Paige leaves them to sort it out. Lou tells Kathy he did enjoy it the other night and assures Kathy that he did not see the cat. Kathy thinks there is always a convenient excuse. He tells her he was being a gentleman and that is the truth. Kathy doesn't know if Lou is being straight with her. Lou takes her hand and tells her that he had a wonderful time and if they want to start over and go on a date then he is willing and able. Kathy says it was great but it will always be complicated with them, they should leave it behind them. Lou agrees. Kathy thanks him and leaves.

Number 26 Backyard
Brooke tells Gary to get her and Xanthe a bottle of bubbly. Gary refuses as it is 2 in the afternoon and Xanthe is only sixteen. Xanthe excitedly tells Brooke that she and Sheila met Katherine Kelly Lang. Brooke excitedly wonders if she'll visit Lassiters again. Xanthe wonders how long Brooke is staying, she says she needs to wait for these orders to come in. Gary gets a text from Terese, probably a work thing, but he heads out to meet her. Brooke looks jealous.

Number 30
Sonya and Toadie are cooking, while Sonya reminisces about being pregnant with Nell. She's excited about possibly being pregnant again within a week.

SONYA: There could be another baby in here and we didn't even have to you know!
TOADIE: You don't have to make it sound like it's a chore.

Sonya tells Toadie how excited Mark was when he was asking about the baby and how he can't wait to feel it kick. Toadie realises Mark will be rubbing her belly. Sonya says of course as it will be his and Steph's baby.

Number 32
Lauren wonders why Kathy is leaving so suddenly. Kathy says she'll be back for the wedding. She says a quick goodbye to Paige and Lou and leaves. Paige asks how Lou is. Lou says he's tickety boo. He's going to dust off his little black book and see if he can find a lovely lady to share a good time. Lauren and Paige wonder what happened.

The Waterhole
Gary meets Terese and asks if she wants to go somewhere private. Terese doesn't. She presents him tickets to the boat show, and wonders if he wants to go to other places together as a couple. Gary says no, it was great while it lasted but thinks they missed the boat, excuse the pun. He thinks they can be friends and work together. Gary leaves while Terese looks disappointed.

Erinsborough Hospital
Victoria tells Mark and Steph they weren't able to collect any viable eggs. Unfortunately they can't try again. From the scans and the way Steph's body has reacted to the injections, she's afraid they can't take this any further. She tells Steph she won't be able to have another baby.
