Sarah opens up to Susan and can't understand why Angus wouldnt want to come to Germany with her.
SARAH: Whats the point in getting my life together, if my son doesnt want to be part of it?

Harolds
Tyler sits down with Piper, and wants to know why she ran away from him earlier. Piper explains that she finds it hard to spend time with him and not treat him like a boyfriend, and they both confess their feelings to one another. They are interrupted by Hurricane Xanthe who is incredulous that Tyler made Madison work at the garage.
XANTHE: You put Madison in a flannelette? What are you doing to this style icon?
The Waterhole
Speak of the devil, Madison interrupts Amy and Jimmy to wax lyrical about the shopping in Melbourne. Shes bought woolly hats for everyone and they try them on, but the mood sours as Steph approaches with Charlie. Madison can tell that theres tension between Amy and Steph, and looks like she has a plan to resolve it.
No. 28
Angus asks Susan if he can continue to stay with them, and explains that hes finally doing well at school and feels like he belongs somewhere.
ANGUS: And you and Doctor K are cool for a couple of
SUSAN: A couple of what?
ANGUS: You know what I mean.
SUSAN: Yes, I do! Thank you very much, we like you too.
Susan asks if Angus is still upset with his mum for being secretive about her illness, but he explains that she wont be able to recover with him around to distract her.
ANGUS: When I found out, I went online to find out what may have caused it. And a lot of people say its stress. What if I'm the reason she got it? Dealing with me at the time couldnt have been good for her.
SUSAN: So you think that by staying here, youll be protecting her?
ANGUS: Shes not going to get better if I'm around.
The Waterhole
Charlie and Jimmy throw paper airplanes at each other as Madison tries to press Amy for information about her friendship with Steph, and sings her praises. As Amy gets the bill, Charlie joins Madison and Jimmy at the table. Charlie and Jimmy explain why Steph and Amy have fallen out, and plead to Madison to help them reconcile their mothers.
Harolds
Xanthe is lecturing the group about how important the school formal is, and Ben winds her up by shattering the dream of a perfect Cinderella ball. Piper announces that shes not planning on coming, so Xanthe begs Tyler to convince her otherwise, suggesting he takes Piper as her date.
BEN: I don't think Tyler wants to spend the night with a bunch of school kids.
XANTHE: Isnt that what hes doing right now?
Tyler looks uncomfortable and makes a hasty exit.
No. 24 Backyard
Tyler is now hanging at the pool (with his Tarzan hair down) and Piper confronts him for leaving so abruptly. Tyler confesses that he wasnt comfortable with all of the discussion about the school formal. He explains that he can only be with Piper if they wait until shes a year older, or otherwise be entirely upfront with her parents. Piper tries to convince Tyler that plenty of couples work well with an age gap, but he puts down an ultimatum: she tells her parents, or they can't be together.
No. 26
Jimmy and Madison conspire in the kitchen to make Steph and Amy friends again. Jimmy tries to keep Amy in the house by feigning interest in his homework, whilst Madison invites Steph over.
No. 28
Susan and Karl try to convince Sarah that theyd be happy to continue looking after Angus, if thats what he wants, but they both agree that hed be better of with her. Susan recounts what Angus told her earlier, and Karl urges Sarah to tell Angus that he wont hinder her treatment.
KARL: He only wants to stay here because he thinks its best for you. Hes trying to be selfless; youre trying to be selfless! In the end, you could both miss out.
No. 26
Steph and Amy are sat silently in the lounge, as Jimmy and Charlie make an indiscreet exit to the garden. Madison tries her best to keep the conversation positive, but Amy and Steph continue to bicker over parenting styles.
No. 28
Sarah apologises to Angus for not telling him about her cancer.
SARAH: Look, I know we havent always communicated as well as we should have, and thats my fault. I kind of left you to grow up on your own. I'm not surprised you don't want to come with me now.
ANGUS: Its not that. When you and Dad broke up, I didnt handle it very well.
SARAH: And I wasnt much help, I'm sorry.
ANGUS: It was hard for you, and I just made things harder. I was a complete jerk.
SARAH: Angus! You didnt make me sick. You know that, right? These things just happen.
Sarah says that shed stay with him in Erinsborough if she didnt have to return to Germany for treatment.
SARAH: I guess what I'm saying is, I don't want to be a spectator in your life anymore. I want to be your Mum! If youll let me.
Angus smiles, and gives Sarah a cuddle on the sofa.
No. 26
Steph announces that shes going to leave, but Madison stops her by feigning a break down over her ex-boyfriend Logan. Steph and Amy jump to their feet to console Madison, and provide her with a lecture in self-confidence. They end up singing each others praises about being strong, independent women. It appears Madisons plan has worked!
Ramsay Street
Piper comes over to say goodbye to Angus as he packs his luggage into Karls car. She confesses to him her dilemma with Tyler, and Angus provides some parting wisdom by telling her not to give up and do whatever it takes to make it work.
No. 26
Amy and Steph reconcile in the kitchen and have a big hug as they apologising for judging each others parenting styles. Madison looks smug that her plan has worked and they thank her for helping. Amy proposes a girls night out and Stephs excited to show Madison how to party borough style! Madison reminds them both that her own mother grew up here - #mumsgonewild!
No. 28
Angus makes his goodbyes with Xanthe and Ben.
ANGUS: Looks like things are going to get a little less exciting around here. No one to steal money, set off alarms, break hearts. I'm sorry for all the stupid things I did. It was really messed up. But I'm stoked we can all be friends now.
BEN: Its cool, I'm glad things all worked out for you.
XANTHE: And for the record, my heart was not broken!
Sarah thanks Susan for all of her help, and Angus tells Susan that hell miss her, promising to come back.
No. 24 Backyard
Piper resolves to tell her parents about Tyler, citing her secret relationship with Brodie as an example to win them over. They both agree that it will be difficult, but that they relationship will be worth it.
The Waterhole
Amy and Steph are having a mad night out singing karaoke together, whilst a stranger leers from the bar. They urge Madison to have a go, but she insists that she isnt a singer. Steph gets a text from Mark, but decides that she doesnt want to meet with him yet. Madison and Steph dash off to the bar, leaving Amy alone to chat with the stranger.
STRANGER: I thought I recognised that lovely voice. I heard you were down this way. How are you, Anika?
AMY: Youve got me confused with someone else.
STRANGER: If thats how you want to play it.
