Paige is horrified. A girl approaches him, calling him Jason, and he tells her he doesn't recognise her.
MANDY: It's me, Mandy, your girlfriend. You don't remember me?
Steph insists that Charlie and Archie explain why they were fighting. Charlie doesn't say anything, so Archie says Charlie tried to take his car. Charlie admits it. Julie arrives, and Archie accuses Charlie of bashing him and it really hurts.
JULIE: Let's get you to the doctor.
MARK: That's taking it a bit far isn't it?
JULIE: You only get to make that call when it's your child who's assaulted.
Mandy tells John that his name is Jason Jones, but she calls him "Bird". Paige asks about his family, so Mandy says they're not close. Paige asks about other friends, and she says they didn't need anyone else. She explains how she's just come back from Africa, where she'd been "on a break". He says it's frustrating not being able to remember anything.
MANDY: Bird, I love you. I'm not giving up on you.
Walter and Terese are meeting up in the rotunda and Sonya and Aaron are stalking watching. Aaron comments that it's weird, and remembers his dad and Sheila. How ageist. Sonya changes the subject, and asks Aaron to promote the nursery. They look over to see Walter and Terese kissing. Aaron tells Sonya not to look, so they leave.
Steph continues to ask Charlie about the fight, because she doesn't understand his reasons. She says the air show's off. He says it sucks.
STEPH: Yeah, it does. Yes. So maybe you'll remember that next time you think about fighting someone.
Sonya tells Terese she saw her with Walter. Terese says that he's funny and interesting, and when she's with him, it's a relief not to have to think about other things.
TERESE: You know, you really should give him a chance. OK, I know it's your turn to tell me to mind my own business, but when I see people wasting time, I just want to grab them and shake them...
SONYA: I don't think I have the emotional reserves to deal with this right now... to open myself up, to get hurt... I can't take that risk.
TERESE: Yeah, I understand. I guess I'm just looking at it in a different way now. You know, if I could just go back in time and have one more day with Josh. You know we all think that we've got all the time in the world to say and do what we want, but then life comes along and slaps you down.
Sonya apologises for upsetting her, and Terese says she doesn't want her to live with regret. Sonya looks troubled.
John is asking Mandy questions about his likes and dislikes. Then he asks about Dustin, but she doesn't know him. Paige asks if she has a photo, but she says she lost her phone in Africa.
PAIGE: Oh, so you've got nothing to really prove you're a couple.
Mandy shows John a bracelet she says he gave her. He doesn't remember, and Paige looks suspiciously at Mandy.
Walter is pleased that Sonya has arranged to meet him. She tells him that she wants to know more about her parents. He tells her that one thing he is good at is talking, so he can tell her a lot of stories.
Nearby, Archie steers his car into Nate, and when Nate tells him to stop, Archie tells him he doesn't get to give the orders. Mark is watching, and brings Archie in for questioning about what happened with Charlie.
Paige tells John that Mandy might be trying to scam him, and if they were close surely there should be some recognition. Mandy overhears and says it's killing her that there isn't. John asks Paige to give him and Mandy some space.
Sonya and Walter are talking about her parents. He talks very warmly about her mother. He says that the last time he saw them, it was the night of a masquerade ball. Sonya said that was the night they died. He denies it, saying it was a couple of years earlier, and she doesn't remember it because she would have been in bed.
Steph has got Charlie doing some weeding. Mark approaches him and asks him why he didn't tell his mum the truth about Archie. Charlie insists that Mark can't tell Steph the reason they fought was that Archie was actually saying that Steph was crazy.
Mandy asks John what's going on between him and Paige. He says they like each other and she's been good to him, but there's nothing going on. He says there's always been something holding him back, and he needs to know who he is, and maybe she's a part of that. She says she's relieved to hear it. They smile.
Julie comes to apologise to Steph, saying the fight was Archie's fault. However, she won't say give any explanation. Steph goes to find Charlie, and Mark thanks Julie for not saying anything. Steph comes back and overhears their conversation. She wants to know what Archie said.
Walter presents Terese with a bunch of flowers to thank her for talking to Sonya, and he also asks her out for dinner later. Julie approaches, saying she'd been checking some books.
JULIE: I was quite surprised to see that Cecilia Saint was one of their new employees. Isn't she the woman who came forward to testify against Paul?
TERESE: Yes, yes, I believe so. It's great she's got a job.
JULIE: Terese, I don't want to know how it happened, and this will be the last time we speak of it. Whatever it takes to take Paul to jail, that's all we care about.

She tells him that she'd definitely be open to having more kids. He is thrilled.
Sonya tells Aaron that she can only remember her parents going to a masquerade ball once - on the night they died - and she can't remember Walter being around. If he had been, he might have been expected to stick around at a time like that. She tells Aaron how Walter said it was a different occasion.
SONYA: I don't believe him. My parents, they weren't the ball-going type.
Aaron suggests she get hold of the accident report to find out what actually happened.
