Sheila apologises to Xanthe for letting things get out of control. (So had they been completely silent up until then?) Anyway, Xanthe is furious, saying it will make things worse, but Sheila tries to justify herself.

SHEILA: I just saw red and my whole mother lioness thing came out.
XANTHE: OK, let's just hope that Alison forgets about it(!)
SHEILA: As if.

As if, indeed. Sheila gets a call from Mark. Alison's mother wants Sheila charged with assault.

No 32 garden
Paige wants to put up some flyers to ask for info about John, in case Wendy (aka Iris) turns out to be a dead end. Lauren gives her a look and says Paige is devoting a lot of time to someone she hardly knows.

PAIGE: I haven't even seen him lately. He's been off with... Amy.
LAUREN: I just don't want to see you disappointed or hurt.

Ned arrives and wants to use the pool. Lauren suggests he help Paige, but she says it's personal. He tells Lauren he doesn't really know any of his sisters, and she says the only way is to spend time with them. She urges him to give them a chance.

Mark is interviewing Sheila, who says it all happened so fast.

MARK: Sheila, did you assault Alison Gore?
PAUL: Ah well, assault's a bit of a strong word.

She admits that she slapped her, but that Alison and her friends were surrounding Xanthe like a pack of hyenas. Toadie arrives, and Sheila says they don't need lawyers. But Toadie points out that this could go to court, and Mark suggests mediation. Xanthe gets a text, and rushes out, obviously upset. Sheila tells Mark to set it up.

No 32 garden
Ned is swimming while Lauren is sketching. Piper comes over to ask for help sorting through Josh's stuff. Ned offers to help.

NED: Lucky I was here, huh? Almost like she knew I would be.
LAUREN: Well, I might have texted her.
NED: I figured.

He grins at her and she tells him it will get easier, says she'll stay out of it, but he says it's OK. He watches her as she draws.

Garage
Tyler, John and Amy are playing basketball. Paige arrives with the flyers, and asks John to help her put them up. Tyler suggests that they all work in pairs: John and Amy, and him and Paige. Paige is not happy.

No 26
Toadie is mediating between Jackie - Alison's mother - and Sheila. Jackie says that Alison is traumatised. Sheila apologises, but says that Alison wrote some horrible things about Xanthe.

TOADIE: I think what Sheila is saying is that the tone of her comments online could be seen as antagonistic.
JACKIE: The truth hurts some people.

Jackie says that "Blind Freddy" can see that Xanthe could never be a model.

SHEILA: The only thing Blind Freddy can see is that that girl should have been whacked a long time ago along with her mother.
JACKIE: See you in court then.
SHEILA: Oh yes you will.

After Jackie leaves, Sheila discovers that Xanthe had overheard, and had been crying in the kitchen. She says that she can't go back to school. Sheila says that bullies must be overcome with strength - not violence.

XANTHE: I am not strong.
SHEILA: You are stronger than you think.

Sheila reminds her that Cannings are made of tough stuff. Xanthe gets another text. Sheila covers it up.

Lassiter's complex
John asks Wendy a few questions, but she says she can't help him. Whether that's true is not entirely clear.

No 22
Ned asks Piper about Josh and she talks about some of her memories.

PIPER: When will I stop remembering all this stuff?
NED: You won't.

He tells her that he did a tattoo for a friend to remind him of his girlfriend. Piper asks him where he learned to do tattoos. He's reluctant to say.

NED: I used to hang out with a few guys... The point is, a tat can make you feel close with the person you've lost.

Lassiter's complex
Tyler comments to Paige that she has a "vibe" with John, and says she knows nothing about him. She says she knows enough. Tyler looks over and sees Piper sitting with Ned. She asks Tyler if he wants to talk about a vibe, but he tells her to be careful.

Outside Harold's
Ned is showing Piper his tattoo designs. Lauren comes over, and is very impressed. She thinks it's a lovely idea to have a tattoo to remember Josh. Piper picks a design, but Ned says she needs Brad's permission. She rushes off, saying she knows where he is.

Lassiter's complex
Brad is just finishing one of his exercise classes. Piper asks him about getting a tattoo. He says no.

Outside Harold's
Jacka hugs Ned, then leaves. Piper asks who he is. Ned says they have mutual friends. She tells Ned that Brad has agreed to the tattoo.

Harold's
Amy is drawing a moustache and hat on John's flyer. Paige comes in and is annoyed because they are relaxing and she is out trying to get leads, and he didn't even call her to tell her what happened with Wendy / Iris / insert name here.

Toadie asks Xanthe how she's doing, and she tells him that Sheila told her to be strong. He suggests that "flying under the radar" might be a good idea. He offers to talk to Sheila for her, but she says that Sheila won't back down.

No 32
Ned has done a tattoo for Piper. Brad arrives and he is furious. Piper says it's her decision, but Brad points out that it isn't, and a tattoo is permanent. He asks Ned what he was thinking, as Piper is just a child. He says he will have to tell Terese.

Harold's
Toadie reassures Xanthe that Sheila does have her best interests at heart. Xanthe gets a text message from Saffron which has a "cease and desist" letter telling her not to post / tag any pictures wearing her clothes.

Lassiter's complex
John goes over to see what is wrong with Paige. She admits that she misses when it was just the two of them. He's surprised, and says she's done so much for him. She tells him that she likes looking for answers and felt left out when he went to see Wendy. Paige gets a call from Tyler, who said there's a guy at the garage who said he met John the night before the explosion.

Graveyard
Ned walks up to Josh's grave.

NED: Citizen of the Year's done it again. Pip bluffs me into giving her a tattoo, and I'm the bad guy? Blames the whole thing on me. Tells me I should be the adult. That's rich coming from him. That lying, cheating scumbag has the nerve to call me out after everything he's pulled? Who had to be the adult after he bailed, huh? My mum. And now he wants me to care because Terese is gonna be upset.

He picks up the vase of flowers and smashes it against a nearby tree.
