Lassiters Park
Aaron finds Nate sitting on one of the benches and asks him what's up. "I did something bad...really bad," Nate replies.

Garages
Aaron arrives to check on the beaten up Dimato and he asks if Aaron has come "to finish off the job". He isn't but rather wants to administer first aid to him although when Dimato discovers his name, doesn't seem too keen on being treated by a Brennan!

Harold's café
Steph comes in to see if Lauren can put up some posters for the singles night event being held at The Waterhole. She agrees to Steph's request but not to be one of the participants! Tyler finds himself roped in too although Piper doesn't look too amused by the look on her face.

Number 28
Aaron barges into the house, interrupting the massage Susan is giving Karl, to ask for his help to attend to someone who doesn't want an ambulance called.

Number 22
Sonya/Terese are discussing their recent AA meeting when Terese gets a text from Steph about the singles night and both Sonya and Imogen convince her to go. Terese is reluctant to go because she doesn't think of herself as being single, however finds herself being convinced to go along with Imogen.

Garages
Karl's first words on examining Dimato is that he needs proper care in case of internal injuries but Dimato makes it clear he isn't going, simply wants some painkillers. Aaron pulls Karl aside to tell him that he can't take Dimato to the hospital because it was Nate who inflicted the injuries.

Harold's café
Piper is trying to suss out why Tyler is going to the singles night and he admits that he doesn't think he'll find the girl of his dreams there because they are contrived, preferring to find someone naturally. Josh/Brad arrive to invite Tyler to The Waterhole and Brad seems to be the only one to not know about the singles night! The trio briefly discuss it before Brad agrees to attend.

Lassiters Park
Karl comes looking for Nate and finds him still sitting on the bench he was at when Aaron chatted to him. He tells Nate that what he did was very wrong and confirms that Dimato will be fine. "You put me in a very difficult situation," Karl explains and wants to know what is going on. "I didn't mean for it to happen," Nate replies and admits he lost it after seeing him hit his girlfriend. Karl thinks he should have done something else, like yelling but Nate explains that men like him "only understand one thing."

KARL: No, they understand being arrested and locked up but this vigilante action has just given him an out. If I report this, he can report you.

"Is that what you are going to do?" Nate asks and Karl mumbles that it's not mandatory to report an assault between two adults...

KARL: But if a person is a danger to others...
NATE: He is a danger to others.
KARL: He's not the only one at the moment... Considering your history, this lack of control is deeply worrying.
NATE: What do I do?

Turning himself into the police is Karl's first bit of advice, reassuring him that he's got an arguable case and it will allow him to get some help too.

KARL: Nate, I'm here for you mate, and so is Susan and so is Aaron. We just want what's best for you.

The Waterhole
The trio of Tyler, Brad and Josh tentatively enter the bar almost wary of what is ahead of them. The place is almost deserted and Brad remarks it will mean they get served at the bar quicker! Josh spots Tyler eyeing up Imogen and warns him off and after he spots Terese entering, Brad wants them to head elsewhere.

"Fancy seeing you here," Terese greets Brad with as she (and Imogen) approaches the guys table. Imogen quickly says she is only there to help Steph with the numbers and Brad replies that they are just there to support Josh. The parents (and Josh) head to the bar for drinks and Imogen jokes that the only guy she's not biologically related to is Tyler! In turn, Tyler suggests that maybe her parents can reunite but Imogen puts the kyboshes on that straight away.

TYLER: Love always finds a way.
IMOGEN: Love is a malignant disease that warps the brain and induces insanity! They are better off without each other.
TYLER: I missed sneezing pandas for this!

Number 24
Tyler has somehow escaped from the bar and is comfy on the sofa watching sneezing pandas when Piper comes calling (she spotting him coming home). "So, no love at first sight?" she asks and he replies no and tells her about her mum/sister turning up.

TYLER: It was like a speed dating game from Game of Thrones!

He does tell her that those he did spoke to weren't into the same things as him and she jokingly orders him to make her something to eat as she's had nothing.

The Waterhole
As he plays pool with his sister, Josh spots his parents chatting and asks her if they are flirting with each other? Imogen describes them as just being plutonic and both decide, given the lack of under 30s, to escape elsewhere.

Steph is more than relived to see Lauren walk and sets her up at a table and gives her advice on who to talk to/which ones to avoid. Laruen wants to do a runner when she sees that Brad is there and Steph literally grabs onto her to prevent her from taking off and begs her to stay.

LAUREN: You owe me!
STEPH: I do!

Terese has a face like thunder when Lauren comes over to join them and quickly explains she's just there to support Steph and Brad says he's there for Josh... until Lauren points out he's not in the bar! All 3 look rather awkward around each other with big gaps of silence around safe topics like the weather!

Garages
Karl returns with pain meds for Dimato and when asked if he's reporting it, admits that he's not sure whether to tell the police or not but does add that if it were down to him, he'd report Dimato in a heartbeat.

DIMATO: Aren't you sweet, looking out for your little friend.
KARL: Why don't you do everyone a favour and just get out of Erinsborough.

Most of the audience are right behind Karl on that one! When he departs, Dimato gets out his phone and calls someone as he needs a job shutting someone up.

DIMATO: The name's Kennedy, Karl Kennedy.

The Waterhole
The atmosphere is still extremely strained among Brad, Terese and Lauren as we return to them and eventually not even the lure of Steph bringing over free drinks (courtesy of some punter at the bar) is enough to keep Terese there and she decides to bail out (on the pretence of going to see Sonya). Brad also decides to bail and Steph points out the plus to Lauren - she's got two more free drinks to consume!

Number 24
Tyler thinks the zine Piper has done is good, although she thinks its lame, and wants to keep it for when she gets famous and he can say that he knew her. He compliments her on the zine and adds that she has an ability to affect people in a good way.

TYLER: That's why you are going to be famous.

The Waterhole
Steph brings news to Lauren that someone wants to pass their number onto her but Lauren replies she isn't into dating. She then sincerely thanks Lauren for sticking around and after Lauren explains that seeing Brad/Terese there tonight threw her, seeks confirmation that they (Brad/Lauren) have split up. Lauren confirms that they are and Steph tells her about breaking up with Belinda because despite loving each other, they couldn't make it work.

STEPH: Bad timing!
LAUREN: Huh, I know what that feels like.

Lauren enquires how Steph is and she replies fine but miserable adding that she keeps replaying what they could have done differently, however is still sure it was the right decision. "It's good you have that clarity," Lauren says and Steph agrees with her before asking Lauren the same question.

LAUREN: Truthfully?
STEPH: Mmm.
LAUREN: The way I feel right now, I could come to a hundred of these nights and it wouldn't make a difference. The man I love is right in front of me and completely out of reach.

Number 28
Susan leaves Karl a voicemail as she's not heard from him (nor Nate/Aaron) and is wanting an update. Just at that, someone knocks at the door and when she answers it isn't someone she is expecting, rather it's one of Dimato's goons seeking clarification that Karl lives there. Susan confirms he does but isn't in and asks the goon if she can help but he replies she can't as his business is with Karl.

Number 24
Tyler/Piper are playing some dice game and as they do, she wants to know why he said the stuff about her earlier. "Because it's true," is his honest reply and confirms that he meant it. "It's just that no-ones said that about me before," she explains and his reasoning is that perhaps no-one gets her like he does.

All day/night as the pair of them have chatted, you could just about cut the UST between them with a knife and as Tyler scores high in the dice game they are playing and Piper tries to wrestle the dice out of his hands, it culminates with her gazing into his eyes so she leans in and kisses him!
