Karl is on the phone to Lauren, asking if she's seen Ben at the Store - but apparently she hasn't. Nate comes in, and Susan asks him if he's seen Ben. He says he hasn't, and mentions that Tyler has gone AWOL too. Karl wonders if they might be together.
SUSAN: To take off with a wagging schoolboy and not tell anyone? Even Tyler's not that irresponsible.
Karl says they should just wait until Ben turns up, but Susan is worried that Ben might be alone and miserable. While Nate goes off to look for both Ben and Tyler. Karl reassures Susan that Ben will be fine.
Ramsay Street
Kyle and Amy have just come back from working on the final element of the beautification project. With the task complete, Amy announces that she and Jimmy will be moving on from Erinsborough, so she can find work elsewhere. Kyle is disappointed she's thinking of leaving, and offers Amy the opportunity to stay and work for him full-time.
AMY: Have you forgotten how bossy I am?
Kyle insists not, but says they've 'found their groove' working together. Amy agrees to stay, saying it would be good for them to be able to stick around so they can continue to get to know Paul. She adds that she'll check with Toadie and Sonya to make sure they don't mind her staying longer.
No 30
Toadie and Sonya are both having difficult phone conversations, with a business associate and the bank respectively. Nell is playing with a box on the floor, and puts her treasured teddy bear, Captain Fugglesworth, inside it, before covering him with tissue paper and closing the box.
Once they've finished their calls, Sonya tells Toadie that the bank rang to say there's been fraudulent activity on their credit card, so can't use it until they get a replacement. Amy comes in, and tells the Rebecchis that Kyle has offered her a full-time job, so asks if she and Jimmy can stay a little longer until she's saved up enough to get her own place.
Toadie and Sonya fall over themselves to say it's fine, but don't seem 100% enthusiastic; and sensing they're a little harassed, Amy offers to cook dinner so they can get Nell ready for bed. Toadie and Sonya thank Amy, but once they've gone next door with Nell, she looks worried.
No 24
Mark tells Paige that Tyler says he's fine with them being together, indicating perhaps that Mark isn't a very good judge of body language. Mark admits he feels weird knowing that Paige and Tyler have 'been with' one another, but says he forgives her for not telling him sooner. Paige promises full disclosure from now on, and they kiss.
Karl comes around looking for Ben and Tyler. Mark says he saw Tyler at the pub earlier, but that he didn't mention Ben. Karl leaves again, and Mark starts whingeing about how Tyler is uncommunicative and can't handle authority. When Paige says family is always awkward, Mark says he wishes he'd been there for her when Mary was in town - but Paige says she's just pleased she and Mary have finally connected.
Paige asks about Mark's parents; he says his mum lives in Adelaide near his sister, and his dad lives in Port Lincoln. His parents are divorced; Mark speaks to his mum regularly but doesn't have that close a relationship with his dad, having only seen him once since his witness protection days.
Paige compares the situation to that of her and Mary, and says she's sure Mark's dad cares and would like to hear from him. Mark is easily convinced, and remarks that his dad might even have some ideas on how to deal with Tyler. Paige hands him a phone and says that if he calls his dad, he can come and join her in the shower afterwards.
No 30
Toadie and Sonya emerge from having put Nell to bed to find that Amy has tidied the house and is well underway with dinner. They're very impressed, but Sonya asks if Amy has come across Captain Fugglesworth, Nell's teddy bear, as he's gone missing. Amy says she hasn't seen a bear during her tidy-up, and Nell begins to cry from next door, as she never goes to sleep without him...
The Waterhole
Nate asks Aaron, who is playing darts, if he's seen Tyler around. Aaron says not.
AARON: I only saw Josh today. So hard spending all this time with him and that amazing chest...
NATE: Whatever.
Nate explains that Tyler and Ben are AWOL, and asks Aaron to let him know if he sees them - Susan's getting pretty anxious, and Nate's worried that things won't 'go down so well' if Tyler is responsible for Ben going missing. Aaron offers to help Nate search for them.
A bench somewhere
Ben and Tyler are taking a breather from their bike ride. Ben says he's feeling much better now.
BEN: It's like real life can't keep up with the bike.
TYLER: Trust me, it still chases you.
Tyler suggests they can keep going, unless Ben needs to be somewhere. He says he doesn't, and they set off once again.
No 24
Mark is talking to his dad on the phone, explaining how Tyler is now running the garage. Paige comes out of the bathroom in a towel, and Mark quickly wraps up the phone conversation. Paige says she's glad Mark phoned his dad, and Mark admits that his dad gave him a bit of insight into Tyler.
Nate and Aaron come in, looking for Tyler. Nate is uneasy when he realises from their body language that Mark and Paige are back together, having earlier encouraged Tyler to pursue Paige. Aaron and Nate leave again, while Paige leads Mark back towards the shower.
Fitzgerald Motors
Tyler and Ben arrive back from their ride. Tyler asks Ben if he's sure it's okay for him to be out this late; Ben claims he texted Susan and Karl, and that they were fine with it. Tyler says the ride has helped him clear his head over Paige, saying she always liked Mark more than him and that it's time for him to move on. Ben wishes he could move on so easily.
TYLER: Just forget about her, man.
BEN: I want to. I just - I want to be anonymous here. Fly under the radar.
Tyler tells him he can't live his life worrying about something that might not happen - he needs to forget about sending the photos, turn his mind to more positive things, and have a fresh start.
No 30
As Nell continues to scream from her bedroom, Toadie, Sonya and Amy scour the house (and the bins) for Captain Fugglesworth. Toadie briefly wonders if it might be for the best that he's been lost, since Nell needs to learn to cope without him at some stage. But Sonya reminds him that since Nell's just about to start childcare, she needs all the comfort she can get. The search continues.
The Waterhole
Nate asks Kyle if he's seen Tyler or Ben, but he hasn't. Nate mentions to Kyle about Paige and Mark being back together, and Kyle is excessively jubilant about the news. When Nate asks him if video-chatting to Georgia is the cause of his good mood, Kyle says not - he's just had a 'good day at work'.
No 28
Susan is getting increasingly anxious as she and Karl ring around to try and locate Ben. Susan thinks they may have to consider telling Libby he's gone missing - but at that moment, Ben and Tyler come in. Tyler casually explains they've been on a bike ride.
SUSAN: Ben had school - why would you think we would approve of him wagging? And look at the time - you should have at least called us.
Ben is silent, while Tyler heroically takes the blame, saying it was his fault and that they just got caught up. Susan sends Ben to his room to do his homework, then demands to know what Tyler was thinking. Tyler says he assumed Ben had some free periods, and that he seemed to really need some 'guy time'. He makes matters worse by refusing to explain what it was he and Ben talked about.
TYLER: Ben'll tell you if he wants to.
SUSAN: Ben is not a little brother for you to gang up with - he's our grandson. And you're an adult - I'd hoped a responsible one.
Tyler says she's right, and swiftly decides that it's time for him to move back in with Mark to give them more of a chance of getting through to Ben - despite Susan and Karl saying they don't want Tyler to leave.
No 24
Tyler comes in and is immediately teased by Aaron for all the trouble he's caused. Tyler admits that Ben conned him into thinking he didn't need to be at school or to get back home earlier, and that now he needs somewhere else to live. Mark comes in (in a towel), and says Tyler can move back in here - on the condition that he makes some changes.
MARK: No lying. No attitude when I'm trying to talk to you seriously. And tidy up after yourself.
Tyler agrees to the conditions - but soon looks like he's already regretting it, when Paige wanders out of the bedroom in one of Mark's shirts and not much else.
Ramsay Street
The next morning, a refuse truck turns up on the street...
No 30
Sonya, Toadie and Amy have had a sleepless night thanks to Nell's upset at having lost Captain Fugglesworth. Toadie suddenly has a brainwave - he saw Nell putting Captain Fugglesworth in the box yesterday. Amy admits she put the box in the recycling, as she thought it was just packaging. Then they hear the truck outside, and all rush out of the front door...
Ramsay Street
... but the truck is already driving away. In any case, Amy points out, it was the refuse collection, not the recycling, which had already been taken earlier. She apologises profusely to the Rebecchis, saying she was just trying to prove what an amazing housemate she could be by tidying up.
TOADIE: We're amazed (!)
No 28
Susan and Karl again tell Tyler that he doesn't need to move out, and Susan apologises for heaping all the blame on Tyler for Ben's disappearing act. Susan directly asks Tyler if Ben misled him, to make him think it was okay to take him off on the bike ride all evening. But still protecting Ben, Tyler claims he didn't think to ask.
Ben comes out of his room to find Tyler with his bags packed; Tyler won't be swayed on his decision to move out, but thanks the Kennedys for putting him up for so long. While Tyler's fetching some more of his possessions from the bathroom, Ben accuses Karl and Susan of chucking him out. They insist it was Tyler's decision, but Susan says it might be for the best given what happened yesterday.
BEN: I told him I had study periods. He didn't know I was wagging.
SUSAN: Well he still should've called to say you were together.
BEN: I told him I texted you, that everything was fine.
SUSAN: Ben, I don't understand. This isn't like you; why did you lie?
Karl chimes in and asks why Ben deleted his social media account. He claims it was for a school assignment. Susan says Ben's clearly upset, and asks him to let them help him, now Tyler's going.
BEN: Oh, just stop. This is so unfair. You think you know everything, but you just - you don't!
He storms back into his room, leaving Susan and Karl looking worried.
No 30
Kyle comes in to pick up Amy for work. She admits that Sonya and Toadie didn't seem very happy about her staying on for longer, and that she compounded the situation by recycling Nell's favourite toy.
KYLE: Not Captain Fugglesworth?
AMY: Yeah.
KYLE: What, with his sweet little eyes and his cute little ears?
AMY: Oh, not helping!
KYLE: Sorry! Bummer - what were the consequences?
AMY: Five hours' sleep.
KYLE: That's not too bad!
AMY: Between us.
Amy's now worried that Toadie and Sonya will ask her and Jimmy to leave. But Kyle says he'll help her track down Captain Fugglesworth.
KYLE: You and me, we're going on a bear hunt. Let's go!
Ramsay Street
Kyle and Amy rush to the ute.
KYLE: Did you get the tranquiliser gun?
AMY: If we don't find him, I'll be the one who needs a tranquiliser!
They drive off on their mission. But as they leave, a stranger wanders into the street, and begins to talk to Aaron, who is fetching the bin. It's his father, Russell.
RUSSELL: Don't remember ever seeing you do that at home!
AARON: Dad. What are you doing here?
RUSSELL: Little birdie told me my three sons were together again, for the first time in years. Thought I'd visit.
AARON: Right.
Aaron doesn't look especially pleased to see his dad - and Tyler, who is coming out of the Kennedys' with his bag, immediately ducks out of sight when he sees his dad talking to Aaron.
RUSSELL: Well are you gonna invite me in?
Without a word, Aaron leads his dad into the house, while Tyler looks upset.
