- Jimmy goes missing
Amy is panicking about Jimmy. Kyle and Toadie come in - they haven't found him. They go back out to search. Amy has an idea.
Sonya shows Amy where the well is. Sonya goes to get the police while Amy starts to climb down the ladder. Paul comes over. Amy shouts at him.
AMY: This is all your fault. You and your stupid story!
Josh tells Amber and Imogen that he's sold loads of the supplements. He tries to sell some to Mark, but he's not interested. He gets a call about Jimmy and he, Amber and Imogen leave. Josh decides to stay.
Naomi says she feels sorry for Paul, because he and Jimmy have missed out on so many birthdays and Christmases. Sheila tells her to be careful as that's how she fell for Paul in the first place. Jimmy walks in and Naomi gets Sheila to call Amy. It turns out that Jimmy was looking for Paul.
Amy tells Jimmy not to do it again. She thanks Toadie and Naomi, but doesn't thank Kyle. Kyle grumbles to Toadie, saying that he put all his jobs back to look for her kid, and he's struggling to keep up with the beautification project and his regular work. Toadie offers to help.
TOADIE: It would be nice to just do something that's completely mindless. Absolutely no brain power needed whatsoever.
KYLE: Thanks dude(!)
Josh says he's barely sold anything, but doesn't want Amber to find out. He asks Imogen to help. She's not keen, and asks if the supplements are backed by research. He says yes, but doesn't sound sure.
JOSH: If it didn't work, it wouldn't be so popular.
IMOGEN: And if it was actually popular, you'd be selling some of it.
He asks her again to help, and she deduces it's a pyramid scheme.
Kyle is taking calls from customers who are asking when he is going to finish jobs. He explains that they have to dig holes to plant saplings, and tells Toadie to consult a map first.
Waterhole - outside
Amy, Jimmy and Naomi are having a drink together (Jimmy is eating). Amy goes to talk to Paul, and Jimmy and Naomi chat about her having a boyfriend.
NAOMI: There's a guy that I like but he doesn't really like me.
JIMMY: Sounds like a jerk.
JIMMY: Does he like someone else?
NAOMI: No, um. That's not the problem.
JIMMY: Then what is the problem?
NAOMI: Well it's... it's complicated.
JIMMY: Well, uncomplicate it.
NAOMI: That is very good advice. Are you sure you're only nine?
JIMMY: Sometimes I wish I was older.
Amy apologises to Paul for going off at him. Paul says it's OK: she reacted like any good mother. She says that Jimmy seems taken by Naomi and Paul says that Naomi is a pretty amazing women.
PAUL: In fact, if it hadn't been for Naomi, I wouldn't have met Jimmy and that would have been a tragedy.
Paul says that he knows he's been a bad parent, but he'd like them to get to know each other.
Kyle is removing a fence and Toadie is digging holes for saplings. Kyle asks if he used the map. Toadie says yes.
KYLE: ...because if you hit one of those wires...
At that moment, Toadie hits a wire and there are sparks.
The lights go out, and there's a squeal of pain. Amber twisted her ankle when the treadmill stopped.
Kyle is annoyed and asks Toadie again if he looked at the map. Toadie says he didn't know they were power lines.
TOADIE: Although I suppose it was a bit shocking. Wasn't it? Get it? Shocking?
Kyle says this is a big deal: he's going to be in trouble with the power company, while Toadie is treating it like a huge joke.
Josh is concerned about Amber: he suggests she go to hospital, if only to check the baby. She insists she's fine. Imogen goes to ask Mark if he can check out the supplements company. Mark tells her that Josh should pull out, but she says he wants to make money for the baby.
Naomi comes round and finds Amy looking at an article on Paul's "mayoral meltdown". Naomi tells her that it was just after Kate was killed. Amy says she never thought of him as vulnerable. Naomi says he's a proud man, which is why he didn't want people to know he was sick. Amy says that Paul wants them to stay, but she doesn't want to be let down, or Jimmy to be let down.
NAOMI: Paul is no angel. You'll find plenty of people with nothing nice to say about him but when it comes to you and Jimmy, I know he is sincere.
Sheila passes Kyle and Toadie a couple of beers, telling them not to complain if they are warm. Toadie apologises, admitting he didn't know how to read the map and didn't want to look dumb by asking.
KYLE: So basically you were chicken.
TOADIE: Yeah, pretty much. Quite lucky not to be fried chicken.
Toadie promises never to work for Kyle again. Naomi comes in with Amy and Jimmy, and says it's perfect timing, because she's found him a new assistant: Amy.
Waterhole - outside
Jimmy excitedly tells Paul that Amy has a job. Paul tells Jimmy that they can build a robot he found online. Amy tells him not to spoil Jimmy too much. Paul invites them to move in, but Amy says they're moving in with Sonya. They walk off, and Paul looks happy.
Imogen approaches James, the Elixa Fuel rep, and asks him a few questions about the supplements, and the organisation. She tells him she works for Rebecchi Law and says if the company is not on the level he could get in trouble. He "remembers" a meeting and goes off to make a phone call.
Naomi arrives with Amy and Jimmy and their luggage. Jimmy asks her to stay, but she says she has to help Paul. Jimmy walks Naomi out to the car. Amy asks Sonya about the weird vibe between her and Naomi. Sonya tells her that Naomi tried to break up her marriage, but says that she's moved on now, and she's going through a difficult time.
AMY: Don't make excuses for her. Decent people don't do things like that.
SONYA: I don't think she's going to do it again.
AMY: Really? Cos as much as I would love to be proven wrong, I'm pretty sure people don't change.
Amber asks Josh where he learnt to strap an ankle. Josh explains that Brad taught him, given all the injuries from when they used to make and test billy-carts. He says that he's always looked forward to doing the same with his own kids.
AMBER: Well, aren't you the family man?
JOSH: Yeah. Guess I am now.
AMBER: Guess we're both growing up.
James comes in and tells Josh what Imogen said. Josh says it's nothing to do with him. James tells Josh he's got 24 hours to return the products and then he's out. Josh looks worried.
