No 22
On the patio, things are tense between Brad and Terese as they openly argue.

BRAD: So, are we gonna talk about last night?
TERESE: What's the point? You said your piece, I said mine.
BRAD: Oh, Terese, come on!

Terese walks off, just as Paige arrives from around the side of the house - she's overheard their argument, and invites Brad round to her house later to cheer him up. He says it's not good idea, but Paige tells him Lauren won't be there as she's in the city with Robin. Brad says he'll think about it.

PAIGE: Cool. I'll see you later, Brad.
BRAD: Paige - should I be reading anything into you not calling me Dad?
PAIGE: Well, I, erm - I didn't mean to -
BRAD: No, it's fine. There's no pressure.
PAIGE: No, I didn't know that that's what you wanted me to call you.
BRAD: Well, only if you want to call me...

Terese comes back in, acknowledging Paige. She says she's going into work for a while.

BRAD: I thought you had the day off?
TERESE: Change of plans.

Harold's Store
Daniel comes in and sits down with Paul. He explains that he went to Mount Merrion yesterday to see Amy, to convince her to come back to Erinsborough and see him.

PAUL: Well now you can call her and tell her not to bother.
DANIEL: Well, I can't - because she's here and she is ready to talk to her father.

Paul still isn't convinced it's a good idea, but Daniel insists he shouldn't tell Amy to go back home, as she still has things to say to him and wouldn't have come back if she didn't want it.

No 24
Tyler is still in pain from where he was bashed, and Nate notices him struggling (even if he doesn't seem that sympathetic!) Tyler asks if Nate could teach him some defence moves when he's recovered.

NATE: Well my training is highly classified - but I suppose I could make an exception for a hopeless cause.

Mark comes in, wondering where Paige is as she was supposed to be coming for breakfast. Tyler tells Mark that Paige has broken up with him.

MARK: I'm sorry to hear that. Are you alright?
TYLER: I don't wanna talk about it!

Tyler and Nate leave.

The Waterhole
Naomi is telling Sheila, Sonya and Nell about how she's in Paul's bad books. Amy comes in during the conversation, leading Sonya to realise what Naomi's done to upset Paul - and Naomi introduces Amy to Sheila as Paul's daughter.

AMY: Don't hold that against me.
SHEILA: Oh, I like you already!

Naomi tells Amy that Paul will be thrilled to see her, as it means a lot to him.

AMY: Yeah. If it means so much to him, then why didn't he come and get me himself?
SHEILA: Yeah, she's got a point there.

Amy gets a text from Daniel, summoning her to go and meet Paul. Naomi leaves with her.

No 32
In the garden, Paige is surprised to find Lauren sitting there when she's supposed to be in the city with Robin. Lauren explains it's been changed to tomorrow.

PAIGE: No, it's just I invited Dad over.
LAUREN: Dad? I am so pleased you're starting to call him that.

Lauren promises to make herself scarce, and Paige asks why she and Brad don't seem to want to be around one another at the moment. Lauren explains that Brad has been protective of her since Matt died, and that he thought Robin was taking advantage of her.

PAIGE: And was he right?
LAUREN: I dunno. But even if he did have that in mind, I am certainly not interested. It's gonna take me a long time to get over Matt. There's no way I'm ready for another relationship.
PAIGE: You'll fall in love again one day.
LAUREN: I've only been in love - really in love - twice in my life. I can't imagine being that lucky a third time.

Paige looks intrigued.

Lassiter's Complex
Daniel brings Amy to meet Paul, and they awkwardly greet one another.

AMY: I didn't expect a ticker-tape reception, but I thought you'd be a bit happier to see me?
PAUL: Well, this was kind of sprung on me.
AMY: What? You said that he wanted to see me.
PAUL: Hang on - he said you wanted to see me!

They both turn on Daniel, accusing him of setting them up - but he tells them they might as well talk now they're here.

PAUL: Dan, she doesn't want to get to know me.

Naomi turns up behind them, with a little boy in tow!

NAOMI: Well, maybe not - but somebody else does.
PAUL: Oh, great! I should have known that you'd be involved in this ambush...

Paul sees the little boy.

LITTLE BOY: Is this him, Mum?
AMY: Yeah.
PAUL: Mum? Is he your son?
AMY: Say hi, kiddo.
LITTLE BOY: Hi!
PAUL: Hi...!

A while later, Daniel is sitting talking to Amy's son - while a distance away, Amy and Paul talk.

PAUL: You know, Jimmy's my first grandson. Did you name him after my dad?
AMY: No. I just always liked the name. It wasn't an ode to you or anything.
PAUL: Still, I can only imagine it must have been very difficult. Bringing him up on your own, I mean.
AMY: I wasn't always a single mum. I had a husband. But he was unfaithful and useless, and left me in debt. Jimmy adored him, you know.
PAUL: I just wish I hadn't missed out on all those years, but - I mean, he must think that I'm the worst grandfather in the world?
AMY: No, he doesn't. He couldn't wait to meet you.
PAUL: Look, I'm grateful that you've managed to keep the past in the past. Thank you very much for that.
AMY: Yeah. Well it wouldn't be fair to cut Jimmy off from his family, regardless of my feelings. It wouldn't be right.
PAUL: Thank you. I appreciate that.
AMY: Good. Because Jimmy means more to me than anything. He's my world - do you get that?
PAUL: Yeah, of course I get that.
AMY: Well good. Because if you hurt him, we'll leave, and you'll never see him again.

No 32
Paige is swimming in the pool when Brad turns up. Lauren is still there, and explains about the change in her plans with Robin. It's a bit awkward, but Lauren goes to fetch Brad a drink, while Paige tells Brad that Lauren's okay with him being there.

BRAD: Yeah, but Terese won't be!

He explains that the argument Paige overheard earlier was about Lauren.

BRAD: She wouldn't like it if she knew I was here.
PAIGE: So don't tell her.
BRAD: I'm not gonna lie to her.
PAIGE: Well if she asks, just tell her you came to hang out with me. It's only half a lie.

Paige tells Brad to stop feeling guilty; he's done nothing wrong. He agrees to stay for a while.

No 28
Tyler, who is hanging out with Nate, is rummaging in the Kennedys' fridge, while Karl gives him the evil eye! Karl rushes off to work, leaving them to it. Nate asks Tyler why he jumped down Mark's throat earlier during their discussion about Paige.

TYLER: ...
NATE: Oh, well that clears that up (!)
TYLER: I don't wanna make a big deal out of this, but - I like Paige.
NATE: Ah. So your fake relationship wasn't fake for you?
TYLER: No, it wasn't. But, you know, she's amazing.
NATE: Yeah, dude, that's tough.
TYLER: Yeah.
NATE: Still - it's not Brennan's fault you broke up. Shouldn't really take it out on him.

Tyler experiences more pain from his beating. Nate says he should do something about it, then sends him to clear the table so they can eat. But Tyler spots Karl's prescription pad on the table, and quickly throws it into his pocket.

No 32
Having quietly abandoned her plan to make herself scarce, Lauren fires the starting water pistol in a pool race between Paige and Brad. They're all having a lot of fun; and when Brad goes inside to get a drink, Paige asks Lauren whether the first of the two times she's been in love was with Brad.

LAUREN: Yeah. But things change. People move on. I've got no regrets.
PAIGE: Yeah, of course.

No 24
Tyler is popping some of the pills he's prescribed himself, when Mark comes in. Tyler quickly hides the bottle, and Mark doesn't notice - instead asking if they can talk about Paige.

MARK: There was a bit of a weird moment between us the other day.
TYLER: Weird, how?
MARK: We nearly kissed.
TYLER: What?
MARK: But I didn't go there, okay. It just got a bit...
TYLER: Weird. Yeah, you've said that already.

Mark promises that he never intended to cause trouble between Paige and Tyler.

MARK: You're my brother, okay? I don't want to get in your way - I want to be there for you.
TYLER: Well, that's a nice story. But you stopped being there for me when you moved out of home. I don't need your help and I don't want it. So do me a favour - stay out of my life.

Tyler stomps off to his room, leaving Mark looking worried.

Lassiter's Complex
Paul is telling Jimmy about The Well™, and how Daniel found the pearl ring at the bottom of it. Jimmy wonders if there's more treasure down there, and Paul rather irresponsibly says that he's sure Jimmy will be the first to find out if there is. Amy's quick to say that Paul is just kidding, and Daniel says there's just mud and rocks down there.

Paul asks Jimmy what he likes studying at school, and when he says science, offers to take him to a local science museum today. Amy says they've got things to do - but Paul promises to take Jimmy another day.

AMY: Alright, Jimmy, it's time to go.
JIMMY: But I wanted to hear more about The Well™!

But Amy insists they have to leave. She doesn't tell Paul where they're staying when asked - just says they have it covered. Paul shakes Jimmy's hand and says it's been a pleasure meeting him, waving at him as he walks away with Amy.

The Waterhole
Amy is telling Naomi about how well Paul and Jimmy were getting on - while at the bar, Sheila gives Jimmy a glass of lemonade.

JIMMY: Mum doesn't like me having lemonade, Mrs Canning.
SHEILA: Oh, well I won't tell her if you don't, Mr Williams.

Back at the table, Amy admits Paul's trying really hard - but says he needs to realise that 'young boys have overactive imaginations', and to be careful of what he says sometimes. She adds that he did offer to take Jimmy out, and says he'd probably take him to Disneyland if he asked.

Amy and Jimmy leave to drop in on Sonya, and Sheila joins Naomi.

SHEILA: I have just had my ear bashed by a nine-year-old about how fabulous his grandfather is. Paul better not let that kid down.

Ramsay Street
Brad and Paige are walking up the drive. Paige remarks that it's good to see a smile on Brad's face.

PAIGE: I like it when you're in a good mood.
BRAD: You make it sound like I'm a sourpuss.
PAIGE: Not a sourpuss, as much as a 'you need to relax and have a good time more often' puss.
BRAD: Well I'd like to hear you say that five times, really fast.

Terese sees them together, and notices Brad has a towel and his hair is wet.

TERESE: Had a swim?
BRAD: .. Yeah, we did.
PAIGE: I invited him.
TERESE: Was Lauren there?
PAIGE: Yeah, her appointment with Robin...
TERESE: Yeah, was cancelled. I know, he rang me. Well I'm glad you had a nice morning together.

Terese goes inside.

PAIGE: Well the temperature just dropped several degrees.
BRAD: I shouldn't have stayed.
PAIGE: Friends should be able to visit their friends without their partners having a hissy-fit.
BRAD: I should go and sort this out.
PAIGE: Come back to our place, Dad.
BRAD: I'm in enough trouble.

Paige looks disappointed as Brad leaves.

The Waterhole
Karl comes in, and asks Nate if he's seen his prescription pad around the house - it's gone missing. Nate agrees with Karl that it was on the dining room table, but says he can't remember when. Karl goes to check the car and office.

No 24
Nate confronts Tyler about the prescription pad.

NATE: I want to believe it wasn't you. Tell me you didn't take it.
TYLER: I'm in pain, man. I needed the meds. Look, I was gonna return the pad to Karl - I wasn't gonna keep it.

He gives Nate the prescription pad, but Nate isn't happy - saying stealing from friends is as low as it gets.

TYLER: Are you gonna tell Karl?
NATE: I'm thinking about it.
TYLER: Look, I stuffed up - I know that. It won't happen again.
NATE: I'll tell Karl I found the pad underneath the table or something. I won't drop you in it.
TYLER: Thank you.
NATE: But if he notices the missing pages, or asks me about it, I will tell the truth.
TYLER: Okay.
NATE: Sort yourself out.

Nate leaves Tyler looking worried.

No 32
In the garden, Paige is on the phone to her adoptive brother, Ethan, complaining about her 'crappy week' and saying she's in need of cheering up.

PAIGE: I said cheer me up, not tease me like a Mean Girl.

While listening to whatever Ethan's saying, Paige looks at a photo she has of herself with Brad, Lauren and Terese.

PAIGE: Things were going great. I was really bonding with Mum and Dad, and then it all imploded. All thanks to Terese... You know I literally can't tell anyone this, but I really believe Mum and Dad would be happier if they were a couple again... Yeah, I am serious...

No 30
Sonya and Amy are having a chat. Sonya says it can't have been easy coming back to Erinsborough, but Amy says she just wants Jimmy to have a stable upbringing around people who love him.

AMY: I just hope Paul's sincere about being a part of our lives.

She adds that she thinks they should keep some separation from him, and has decided to stay at the caravan park. But Sonya won't hear of it.

SONYA: Oh, no, no - you're gonna stay here.
AMY: Oh, no!
SONYA: No, really. I'm not gonna take no for an answer, and neither will Jarrod.
AMY: Thank you, Sonya. That's beyond generous!

Sonya says they'd love to have her and Jimmy stay, and Amy goes out to fetch Jimmy from the back yard for some biccies. But he isn't out there...

AMY: He's gone.
