PAUL: Amy, try to understand -
AMY: What I understand is, that for the last 20 years you've ignored my existence - oh, except when you needed to clear out my trust fund.
He says he's not proud of that. She tells him she would rather have no father at all, than him.
Waterhole
Kyle and Sheila are talking about Amy. Sheila wonders why Amy has just turned up now, suggesting that it might be about money.
Meanwhile, Brad comments that Paul is unstoppable, seeing that he has got the hotel back. Terese says that Lassiter's is getting a new logo and signage.
Harold's
Terese is discussing the logo with a designer (Robin). He says that the current logo lacks spirit and says he likes the Festival logo. Lauren comes along.
LAUREN: Proud mother moment. My daughter Paige designed that logo.
Robin asks if she's an artist, and she says just an amateur. He asks her where he can do some sketching and she suggests by the lake.
LAUREN: Ducks, lilies. Idyllic, really.
ROBIN: Well, maybe I'll see you out there later.
Paul's penthouse
Paul tells Daniel that Amy was angry and disappointed. Daniel tries to reassure him, but he won't accept it.
DANIEL: Well, now's the perfect time to be a better dad!
Paul says he feels like he wrecked her life, having see the anger in her eyes. He thinks it will be best to let her go home.
Outside Harold's
Lauren brings Robin a drink and the two chat about drawing. Lauren goes in and Terese comes over. He asks her if Lauren is married, dating someone... Terese says that Lauren is single, but not in the right frame of mind for dating. He says it's a shame.
Lassiter's complex
Amy is asleep in her ute and Kyle wakes her up. He says that he's sure Sonya won't mind if she's late.
KYLE: Must be exhausting finding your gazillionaire father.
She's annoyed, saying she didn't come for the money. The whole trip has been a nightmare, and she can't wait to leave.
No 30
Amy comes in with "building inspector" Nell, who has a toy saw and hammer. Amy tells Sonya what Kyle said about her wanting Paul's money and she asks what Sonya thinks about Paul.
SONYA: His fan club is pretty small. Um, but look, he does do a lot for the community.
She suggests that Amy could give him another chance, but she says she's going home.
Lassiter's complex
Robin and Terese are talking about the logo, while nearby, Brad is having a drink outside Harold's. Robin asks Terese about the local galleries. She doesn't know... but she knows someone who does.
No 30
Amy tells Sonya that one of her cupboard doors needs planing. Daniel arrives and introduces himself. Amy says she has to go, but Daniel persuades her to stay.
DANIEL: Come on, how often do you meet a long-lost cousin?
AMY: Never.
Outside Harold's
Terese persuades Lauren to take Robin round the local galleries. She agrees it could be fun.
Paul gets a text from Daniel saying that he and Amy are at Sonya's and to join them. He scowls. Sheila comes over.
SHEILA: That's not the cheery demeanour we've come to expect from you.
PAUL: Your daughter has just taken personal leave with impeccably bad timing so what have I got to be cheery about?
Sheila points out that he gave Naomi a hard time, but he says Naomi should have minded her own business.
SHEILA: You pay her to mind yours.
PAUL: No, I pay her to follow instructions.
She says that she hopes Naomi will find a new job. She says Amy is lovely, which she must get from her mother.
Outside No 30
Daniel is showing Amy pictures of assorted relations. She says she wouldn't recognise her relatives if she bumped into them (rather like Paul didn't recognise her, probably). Daniel says it's cool having tea with his cousin. He tries to persuade her to see Paul, but she won't.
AMY: You're going to be a father soon, Daniel, and then you'll realise that being a parent is about being there, and showing up, and doing the work, even if it's hard and times are tough.
Daniel says that the letter showed the real Paul, but she says she wants the real person all the time.
Outside Harold's
Lauren and Robin chat. She comments on some flowers, and he's says it's nice to be with someone who sees... Brad watches them from a distance. Robin thanks her for a lovely day.
LAUREN: Oh, it's not over yet. You haven't see the best of Erinsborough art yet. My cupcake designs!
They laugh and go inside. Brad frowns.
Ramsay Street
Daniel loads Amy's tools into her ute as she prepares to leave. Kyle comes over and asks Sonya what needs planing. Sonya says that Amy has already fixed it. Amy says that there are a few jobs to be done, that "someone" hadn't noticed. Kyle says he hopes that it was a patch job before she skips town. Amy tells him he can check, and he goes off.
Daniel tries to make Amy change her mind, but she says she has a good instinct for these things and it's time to go. She drives off just as Paul drives up the road. Daniel tells him he can catch her, but he says Amy's better off without him.
Lassiter's complex
Terese finds Brad looking thoughtful. He tells her that he saw Lauren with a guy, and Terese explains who he is. She thinks it would be good for Lauren to have someone to connect with. Brad says he doesn't think she's ready.

He says he's only trying to look after Lauren, as Matt asked.
Paul's penthouse
Daniel tells Paul he should be proud of Amy, as she's got a real strength. He suggests they keep in touch. Paul scoffs, saying they've both made their decisions. Daniel finds the picture Amy drew with "ME and DaDDy Love Amy"

BRAD: No, I'm telling you to back off.
