A topless Tyler is making food and Page comments that he looks a lot better, although he admits he slept badly. She offers him a bottle of prescription medication, and refuses to tell him how she obtained them. Paige insists he needs to rest, but Tyler reminds her that they still owe Michelle money.
Mark jogs past, and comments on Sonya's handy work - she's preparing plants as part of Kyle's beautification project of Lassiter's. Sonya questions him about his feelings for Paige and he admits he misses her but she's free to do what she likes. She then asks about the encounter she witnessed between Tyler and the angry customer, and Mark assumes he must be behind on his work. Both note that they've never met the new owner of the garage, "Stubsy". Before Sonya can ask any further questions about Paige, Mark makes a quick exit.
Karl is working behind the bar and explains his ideas for some renovations to Susan. She warns him not to get too obsessed and then suddenly drop the project, and proceeds to list all of his previously abandoned hobbies! Karl promises not to interfere too much in Daniel's vision. Paul asks at the bar for Daniel and laughs at the idea of Karl working at Off Air.
Paul continues to vent his disapproval at Naomi about Daniel selling shares to Karl. She quickly stops him from calling Daniel and tells him not to interfere. She distracts Paul from the matter by informing him that Craig Quill is coming for a meeting at Lassiter's in regards to a buy-back offer, and Paul promises to lay into them.
Tyler attempts to tutor Paige in mechanics, but she's not happy with the amount of work dumped on her. He continues to press her on how she got the prescription medication, and she confesses to stealing the prescription from Karl - Tyler is delighted she go to such lengths for him. Mark drops by and offers to lend Tyler a hand, believing that he's snowed under with work from Stubsy. Paige accepts the offer on his behalf and Mark gets to work.
Susan moans to Toadie about Karl's investment in Off Air. Sonya reassures her that she's checked the books and the business is financially stable. She points out that it could be a nice escape for Karl from his high-pressure job and Susan accepts their advice and leaves. Sonya mentions to Toadie that she'd be hurt too if she found out about a secret bank account, and leaves him looking guilty.
A woman approaches No. 26 holding a package addressed to Amy Williams of Mount Merrion, and sent from Naomi Canning. She meets Kyle and Bossy, and asks for Naomi. Kyle tells her that Naomi is at work at Lassiter's, and as he says goodbye she looks poignantly at No. 22.
Sonya finishes her shift, and Toadie pulls her aside as he has a confession.
TOADIE: I have a secret bank account.
SONYA: What? Why?
TOADIE: I opened it about six months ago, an insurance policy when Erin turned up, in case things got messy.
SONYA: In case I relapsed.
TOADIE: It was so, so dumb, and I was going to close it but I didn't want to have any secrets with you.
SONYA: You were just doing what was best for Callum and Nell.
TOADIE: No, I should have had more faith in you and I'm really sorry.
Sonya tries to convince Toadie that she's fine with it and quickly leaves, but she isn't fooling him.
Naomi welcomes Craig and he takes a seat with Paul. Paul berates him for taking his time, and for hiring Ezra as his acquisitions manager. He and Naomi emphasise how the reputation of the hotel has been put through the wringer.
PAUL: The thing that keeps coming back to me is why on earth anyone would hire somebody with Ezra Hanley's reputation. I mean honestly, what short-sighted idiot would put a fox in charge of the hen house?
NAOMI: Beats me! Any ideas Craig?
Craig defends Ezra's credentials but gets flustered by the continued accusations.
CRAIG: Look, I didn't come here to be part of some ridiculous kangaroo court!
PAUL: Alright then, let's get down to it. Is Quill ready to consider my buy-back offer?
As Sonya unloads some of her plants, she notices she has a flat tire. As she's searching for the spare, the mysterious woman on Ramsay Street approaches and offers Sonya a hand. Sonya eventually takes up her offer for help, and the woman rapidly gets to work and clearly knows what she's going with a car.
...which is more than can be said for Paige, who is struggling to fix something at the garage! Mark offers a hand, and the two of them start to flirt. Paige notes that Tyler's looking pale as he heads out for a coffee, and Mark suggests they close the garage whilst Tyler recovers. He flirts a little more with Paige but she turns cold and goes to help Tyler. When she leaves, Mark goes to inspect the motorbike and is astonished to see it's in perfect condition.
Karl has the contracts for buying the shares, and Susan gives him her full support on one condition - she's allowed to handle the books. Karl's happy with the suggestion that they could work together and signs the documents.
Sonya thanks the stranger for her help and for listening to her talking about the secret bank account. The woman remarks that you can always judge a person's character on how they behave with money. She warns Sonya to never believe her husband, as her own cheated on her several times and left her with huge debts. Kyle stops by and apologises for misleading the stranger as to the whereabouts of Naomi, and they both suggest she tries Paul's penthouse. She starts acting strangely when she realises they are speaking about Paul Robinson, and explains that she wants to speak to Naomi alone and heads to the Penthouse.
KYLE: Do you know her?
SONYA: No, not at all. But I like her.
Toadie and Nell are armed with bouquets of flowers, and Sonya insists that Toadie shouldn't have to apologise. She recounts the tale of the stranger's disillusionment with love and trusting men, and explains that it's reminded her of how protective and thoughtful Toadie is. He leads her to a document on the table.
TOADIE: You sign this, and half the house is yours. I should have done it years ago.
SONYA: I love you.
TOADIE: I love you, so much.
Toadie goes in for a kiss but Sonya has already grabbed the pen and is eagerly signing the contract!
Paul and Naomi are waiting impatiently whilst the Quill group come to a decision. Paul's phone rings - Craig has agreed to the buy-back. Naomi does a happy-dance and they both celebrate. They have a huge hug and Paul thanks Naomi for all of her help. They hold each other for a moment and kiss, but Paul quickly pulls back and apologises, promising it won't happen again.
NAOMI: Have you ever stopped to think that maybe the right is just for us to be together?
PAUL: Uh, yaaah!
NAOMI: Well then, what's wrong? It's obviously what we both want!
Paul can't come out with an answer, so Naomi grabs her things. Before she storms out, Paul calls out for her to have dinner with him - not for work, but for them. Naomi agrees and tries to hide her excitement.
The mysterious stranger is loitering around the front desk, when Naomi brushes past and asks the receptionist to get her a new key card as hers is playing up. Naomi leaves, and as the receptionist's back is turned, the stranger grabs the key card.
Having successfully broken in, the stranger steps into the Penthouse. She slowly takes a look around, as Paul enters the living room.
PAUL: Who are you? What are you doing in my house?
STRANGER: You're shorter than I remember. God, a lot shorter. I used to think you were this giant.
PAUL: I'm sorry, but do we know each other?
STRANGER: No, if I'm being honest. We don't know each other at all.
PAUL: Alright, well if this is an issue to do with the council...
STRANGER: You don't recognise me at all, do you? What, I'm just a complete stranger? God, I realise that a lot's happened in the twenty years, but I thought you'd have an inkling. A feeling? Some psychic connection when I walked in?
