No. 32 Backyard
Tyler finds Paige giving her punch bag a hard beating. She ignores him at first, but then is forced to defend herself when Tyler states that she'd come back to hook up with him.

TYLER: But you dropped the beers, and then you took off?
PAIGE: Yes I was shocked, and I didn't want to hang around and watch! Listen, I'm sorry Casanova but you're not as irresistible as you think. When I turned you down, I meant it.

Paige tries to make out that Tyler has embarrassed himself again, and he makes sure that they're both still 'cool'. He leaves as Paige continues at her punch bag.

Off Air
Daniel is trying to plan a birthday party for Amber, but she's too distracted as Paige has just texted her that the paternity test kit had arrived in the post. Conveniently Karl is in the bar, and Daniel asks him to take their bloods. He proposes to do it the next day and will call them with a time, whilst explaining the process. He asks if Josh can provide a sample, and Amber reassures Karl that he will. After Karl tells them not to worry, Daniel suggests Amber holds her birthday party that night instead. She seems reluctant but Daniel promises to take care of it all.

Penthouse Suite
Naomi discovers B2 has chewed one of his shoes and Paul isn't happy. Naomi suggests maybe it isn't such a bad idea letting her have a new home where she can have more space, but Paul insists that he can't let Ezra win. Naomi takes a call, and it's the receptionist - Hilary Robinson has dropped by for a visit! Paul is less than pleased, so Naomi promises to take care of her. Paul says she has thirty minutes, and to leave his cheque book alone!

The Waterhole
Danni thanks Josh again for his support, but is interrupted by Amber. She leaves, and Amber asks Josh to provide a blood sample at the hospital. Josh agrees, but looks shocked that they'll know the outcome so soon.

Penthouse Suite
Hilary has made herself comfortable and seems to be boring Naomi to death about Paul's great grandfather's gambling problem and various other family scandals. After Naomi gets frustrated, Hilary teases her that she won't be interested in the last known sighting of Amy Robinson, but eventually hands her an address. It transpires she was living at Mount Merrion, and Hilary says it would be easy to find out if she still lives there - and of course, Hilary believes she is well deserving of a thank you from Paul.

NAOMI: Yeah look, this is quite a delicate issue and so obviously the situation has changed recently.
HILARY: Yes, I heard all about the fake cancer scandal. Most unfortunate.
NAOMI: Unfortunate that it happened, or unfortunate that it was fake?

Hilary gives Naomi a scathing look, and explains that she can't leave as her bus back to her retirement village won't leave for hours. Naomi suggests she take B2 for a walk, and Hilary reluctantly agrees to as long as she doesn't bite!

No. 32 Backyard
Tyler keeps pushing Paige for answers, but she insists that she was only pretending to date him to protect themselves from Mark's investigation. Tyler isn't convinced and shows her the text that she'd sent earlier. Paige is forced to admit that she considered getting together with him, but Tyler angrily blames her for being a tease and accuses Imogen of doing the same. Paige jumps to Imogen's defence and says the best thing she did was knocking back Tyler. They angrily say goodbye to each other until the party later.

Penthouse Suite
Paul is furious that Hilary has been snooping into his private life regarding the fake cancer, but Naomi interrupts him with the news that she has an address for Amy. Paul is dumbfounded, but eventually decides that he doesn't want to pursue the investigation further. Naomi tries to talk him around, but she's interrupted as Paul receives a text from Tim Collins.

NAOMI: Are you really going to ignore this?
PAUL: Whatever is on that piece of paper, I do not want you to do anything with it, do you understand?

The Waterhole
Josh talks over the paternity situation with Danni, and he still seems pretty shell-shocked. Danni questions him about his feelings towards Amber and his potential child, and Josh admits that he would want to be involved in the baby's life. He muses about the potential of being a family together with Amber, but writes off his chances as she loves Daniel. Danni comes to the decision that she has to leave Josh alone to act on his feelings and deal with her own situation independently. She thanks him for his support and leaves.

Harold's
Paige tries to convince Imogen to go to Amber's party, but Imogen explains her and Amber's fight. She explains that she doesn't want to be alone with Tyler, and briefly tells Imogen of their situation. Paige admits that although Tyler can be a bit of a clown, he does provide a good distraction.

Penthouse Suite
Hilary returns having thoroughly enjoyed her walk with B2. As she launches into a story about her pet canaries dying, Naomi stops her to thank her for the address on behalf of Paul, and also inform her that he won't be pursuing it any further. Whilst B2 bounds around them both, Hilary insists that she won't let her research go to waste, and informs Naomi that she will track down Amy anyway.

NAOMI: Okay no, lady, that is not what Paul wants!
HILARY: No for once, you listen to me madam. I don't take answers from Paul. I'm going to find Amy Robinson whether you like it or not.

Naomi pleads with Hilary that there must be something she wants in return for shutting down her investigation, and Hilary's eyes land on B2.

Off Air
Amber's party has begun, and Tyler hands her a present on behalf of himself and Paige. It reads 'Does this baby make me look fat?', and neither Paige nor Amber look amused at all! Daniel makes a brief speech thanking everyone for their support, and declares his love for Amber regardless of the test results. They raise a toast to Amber, and Tyler makes another tactless comment - "to Amber, mother of someone's child!".

Penthouse Suite
Paul returns and isn't happy to see Hilary still in his apartment. Naomi drags him aside and explains Hilary's proposal, arguing that B2 will probably be happier living with her. Paul is forced to concede, admitting that he can't fight the pet clause in his tenancy agreement any further after speaking with Tim.

Off Air Beer Garden
Paige sits outside Off Air, which has been tidied up since the last time it was seen on-screen - a few planters, fairy lights and a menu surround a few tables and crates. Tyler joins her, and offers her a peace offering of beers. She's impressed that they're the same brand as the ones she had in Adelaide, but Tyler annoys her by saying that he's only acting as a fake boyfriend should. He stands up on a crate and threatens to smash the beers, but Paige quickly grabs them from him. They both crack open a beer and enjoy them sitting back to back, making coy glances at one other.

Penthouse Suite
Paul agrees to let Hilary have B2 if she drops the search for Amy, and they shake on the deal. Paul and Naomi bid goodbye to B2 and Hilary offers Paul a less than warm invitation to visit them both at the retirement home. Whilst Paul and Hilary make their farewells at the lift, Naomi picks up Amy's address and discreetly hides it.

Off Air
Imogen makes her goodbyes at the party as she has to study. Josh arrives and wishes Amber happy birthday, noting that everyone else has left. He tells her that he and Danni have gone their separate ways as she knew he was still in love with Amber.

AMBER: If this is coming from what we did, you need to know that it meant nothing to me.
JOSH: I disagree, I think it did. And if this baby ends up being mine...
AMBER: You should not be thinking that way.
JOSH: All I'm thinking is I really hope that whatever happens, you'll let me be there for you and the baby, I love-
AMBER: Josh!

Daniel runs from the back room after hearing raised voices, and Josh quickly makes an exit. Daniel is furious that Josh turned up at the party and Amber tries to calm him down.

DANIEL: You know, I can't do this any more. I can't fake the way I'm feeling. Josh could be the father of this child, so no, I'm not okay with him crashing the party, I'm not okay with him crashing the ultrasound and I'm not okay with him being in your life at all. I have never loved anyone the way I love you, and that is not going to change, no matter what the test result says, but...
AMBER: But what?
DANIEL: But if I'm not the father, I don't know what I'll do.

Amber is left shocked and Daniel returns behind the bar.

Harold's
The store has closed up for the night, and Amber places an envelope on the kitchen serving counter and then starts taking food and drink from the shelves.

AMBER: (A voice over reading the letter) "Dear Mum. Please don't be mad. I know the paternity test was supposed to be tomorrow, but I can't handle all of this. I never meant to hurt anyone but I realise there's no avoiding that now. I just need to be alone. Please tell everyone I'm sorry, especially Daniel. Love Amber."
