Penthouse suite
Daniel tries to engage Paul in doing something other than playing with his Newton's cradle but all his suggestions fall on deaf ears, and even saying that he's his favourite uncle doesn't rouse him, so eventually he leaves him to it.

Number 26 backyard
Naomi tries to take her mind off her money woes by suggesting to Kyle what type of race car beds he could make when he (and Georgia) come looking for advice from her/Chris. Georgia leaves them to the discussions as she's heading to work to get more shifts and is replaced by Sheila and its lucky there is a change in personnel as Kyle mentions to them all that he's thinking of asking Georgia to marry him again.

Harold's Store
Daniel is confiding in someone on the phone about the state of his uncle as he walks into the store. He swaps places with Josh who is off to update his dad on how the Uni open day went. Both are feeling bad about lying to Josh about their time spent together and Daniel suggests that perhaps they shouldn't even hang out together as friends.

AMBER: Is that what you want?
DANIEL: No, but I think it's better that way.

They agree to see each other around and neither looks particularly happy as Daniel leaves the store.

Number 26 backyard
The quartet are discussing how Kyle can pop the question but some are ruled out because he wants it to be cheap! Naomi gets the winning suggestion by coming up with going somewhere that is special in their heart.

Penthouse suite
Terese almost nervously comes to talk to Paul about the extended hours application she has in with the council and is after him to speed things up with the paperwork, which he agrees to doing. Paul then receives a text from Tim Collins asking where he is as he should be giving the police a statement but all he does is ignore it and almost pays lip service to Terese suggesting she has the backlog of mail from the office sent up before she leaves and he resumes playing with the Newton's cradle again.

Number 22
Amber is checking out the leaflet Josh gave her about doing a photography degree at Eden University and suggests possibly taking a gap year out to build up her portfolio so they can go to Uni at the same time. They then begin on filling in some of the blank pages of their photobook.

Penthouse suite
Paul is going through the mountain of mail and is ignoring his ringing mobile phone when Daniel arrives home. He tries to answer the ringing phone (since Paul is ignoring it) and discovers he's missed 6 calls from Tim. Daniel then notices that Paul isn't even looking at the mail he's opening, just throwing it all on the floor "because it's all junk" Paul replies when he's questioned about why he's doing that.

The Waterhole
Naomi drops off some props with Sheila to aid Kyle popping the question and she subtly interrupts the pash session to deliver him the said props (they're in a bag) and some drinks. Georgia throws a spanner in the works by announcing she's off to meet Sonya. "You can't go!" Kyle tells her but she has other ideas on that, so thinking quickly, he takes the blindfold Sheila subtly handed him and puts it over her eyes adding that "it won't take long."

GEORGIA: Can you at least tell me what's going on?
KYLE: Hey where's the fun in that?!

With Georgia blindfolded and Kyle wearing a garland round his neck, he leads her out of the bar...

Lassiters Complex
And into the complex but he's spotted something/someone and literally asks her to wait until he comes back which he does after a few seconds.

GEORGIA: Please promise me you'll never leave me again.
KYLE: I promise.

He then leads Georgia through the complex to where a Ukulele group is waiting to play. Kyle takes one of the garlands from his neck and places it on Georgia before removing her blindfold, which is the cue for the group to start playing and him talking!

KYLE: We have been through so much together this past year but the one thing I know for sure is that having you in my life makes me a better man. Georgia Brookes, I want to spend every single day waking up by your side.

Kyle then goes down on one knee and takes the ring out of his pocket to present to Georgia.

KYLE: Will you marry me?
GEORGIA: (eventually) Yes!

The group extras then throw rose petals over the engaged couple as the random onlookers in the background clap away.

Number 22
Josh and Amber are still working on their project and he's amazed at the photos she has taken and she suggests making her portfolio (for the course) based on pictures of him. He is a bit surprised at her suggestion but goes along with it.

The Waterhole
Sheila has the champers out for the happy couple and they can continue to celebrate as Kyle arranged for someone else to babysit Nell.

Daniel comes into the bar seeking Terese to express his concern to her about Paul. She doesn't seem to think there is a problem (based on seeing him earlier) but takes on board Daniel's concern.

Penthouse suite
Terese is shocked to see the mess the place is in when she comes up with an excuse to visit Paul. She suggests him forgetting about work and orders him to take a shower while she sorts things out.

The Waterhole
Kyle/Georgia are still celebrating when Amber comes in to collect her order from Sheila. On her way out, she notices Daniel sitting and goes over to chat. He is a bit standoffish with her but she ignores that and sits down next to him and they stare into each other's eyes as we cut to the final break.

Penthouse suite
Paul is back from his shower and Terese tells him what the piles of respective letters need doing. She is about to leave, when he asks her to stay.

PAUL: Please... I don't want to be alone.
TERESE: Of course. I'll stay as long as you need me.

Tomorrow on Neighbours
- Mark denying he's been snooping in Paige's room.
- Susan thinking something is wrong with Ben.
- Karl chatting with Ben and being asked not to tell.
- Mark refusing to believe Paul's brain tumour story.
- Matt interviewing Paul regarding the Lassiter's fire.
