No 32 - outside
A "Forthcoming Auction" sign is going up. Bailey and Lauren comment that they don't want to move, although Lauren tries to be upbeat saying that the new owners may also want to rent out the property and Matt would be happy if it's not Paul. Amber comes out, and she says she's going for a run to burn off some stress. Lauren agrees as long as she's not going to see Robbo.
AMBER: Yeah, last night's five- hour lecture did the trick.
Lauren points out that they are worried, and Amber says that they don't trust her.
LAUREN: You, I trust. Robbo, not as far as I can throw him.
Amber insists she's over him, and runs off.
Lassiters Lake
Karl and Holly are walking along discussing Katy Perry. He admits to getting clued up about her albums after doing some research online, which Holly seems pleased about. He asks her if she's happy about starting a new school. She says she is, but when he looks away, her smile fades.
No 32
Susan reassures Lauren that it's understandable she's worried about Amber and Robbo. Lauren says she's feeling clucky. Susan sees she's got it bad, but tells her she's got Holly to look after in the mean time! Lauren asks how it's going. Susan replies that Karl is loving it, but she wonders if it's best for Holly. Lauren says it must be hard being away from her mum.
SUSAN: Yeah, and I reckon it's even harder than she's letting on.
No 22
Terese and Brad are working on laptops. Imogen asks her mum if she can have a lift to the shops. She says she's busy and to ask Brad.
BRAD: What, because I'm lazing around doing nothing?
TERESE: That's not what I meant.
Imogen says she'll get the bus, but Terese says she's got to call in at work anyway and they leave. Josh comes over and asks why they were acting weird. Brad changes the subject and asks Josh how he would feel about him coaching Hudson as well. Josh scoffs at the idea, but Brad points out there's lots Josh could learn from him. Josh points out that people don't believe he's won clean, but Brad does, and says he deserves another chance. Josh says he's not interested.
No 32
Holly tells Lauren that the uniform Karl bought her is too long.
HOLLY: Everyone is going to think I'm a nerd.
Lauren offers to take it up for her. She asks if anything is the matter. Holly says no, but she looks troubled.
Dingoes Gym
Chris and Hudson are cycling. Josh comes in and tells Hudson that Brad will never coach him. Hudson looks puzzled and tells Josh he doesn't know what he's talking about.
JOSH: So now you're a cheat and a liar. That figures.
Chris says it's enough. Josh tells Hudson to stay away, and walks out. Chris admits to Hudson that he spoke to Brad. Hudson is touched that someone spoke up for him.
CHRIS: I like you - a lot, and I don't want you to go to the States.
HUDSON: I don't want to go either.
Lassiters complex/ Pirate Net
Amber is taking a break from jogging when she spots Robbo. She follows him to the former Pirate Net building. He's hiding behind the open door and grabs her.
ROBBO: My very own stalker!
He's flattered she's following him - which she denies - and apologises if she got in trouble the other night. He invites her in. She hesitates, but follows after him. He explains that until he gets a job, he can't afford rent. She asks how the job hunting is going: not well. He asks how Mason got his job, and she says that Lou put in a good word. He wistfully says it must be nice to have someone... She tells him not to give up, and he says he misses her.
ROBBO: I'll be the guy you deserve. You'll see!
She starts to leave, but he asks her to help him with his job application, saying there's nobody else. Her expression softens.
Dingoes Gym
Hudson approaches Brad and tells him that it was Chris's idea to ask about the coaching. Brad says OK, but Hudson lingers, so Brad asks if there's anything else. Hudson asks if Brad will coach him.
BRAD: There are plenty of coaches out there. Why me?
HUDSON: No- one else in Australia will coach me. No- one good anyway.
Hudson reckons he could be one of the best, but he can't do it alone. Brad reminds Hudson that Josh doesn't like him, which Hudson points out could be an advantage, as it's good to train with a rival. He asks Brad to think about it. Brad looks pensive.
No 32
Lauren has taken up Holly's uniform and asks why she's sad. Holly smiles and says she isn't. Lauren asks if she wants to talk. Susan arrives and Holly goes to change. Lauren tells Susan she thinks she's right about Holly being sad, because she keeps putting on a fake- happy act.
No 22
Terese is amazed that Brad is even considering coaching Hudson, especially given how Josh feels. She reminds him he also has the gym. He says she works long hours and he's always supported her in her career. She says she's worried about the family and he counters, saying she's actually worried she'll have to make sacrifices. He stalks off, annoyed. They were unaware that Imogen could hear what they were saying. She walks over to join her mum, who assures Imogen they will sort it out. Imogen tells her that Brad has a point - it's his turn to get some support.
Hospital
Brad has just picked up some First Aid information, and meets Karl going in for a night shift. He says he hates leaving Holly. Brad asks him how Susan's doing.
KARL: She's been really supportive.
BRAD: Supportive? Well, do you think she could give Terese some tips?
Karl says if there's a problem, he should make sorting it out a priority.
Dingoes Gym
Brad is laying a table for a romantic dinner (yes, in the gym). Josh marches in and says he's not training with "him". Brad says that Hudson deserves a coach. Josh starts to ask about drugs but Brad interrupts to say the decision is made. Josh leaves, not happy.
No 22 - garden
Terese is laying a table for a romantic dinner. Imogen says she'll be back at ten, as she doesn't want to watch her parents make up. Terese's phone rings: it's Brad.
Alternating between the gym and No 22
Brad asks Terese to come down to the gym, as he has some things to discuss. She asks him to come home instead. He says he'd rather she came to the gym, and she grumpily says she doesn't want to talk about Josh and Hudson.
BRAD: It's always got to be on your terms, doesn't it?
TERESE: What... What are you talking about?
Annoyed, he tells her to forget it, and she says she will. They hang up and throw their phones on the respective tables.
Outside Pirate Net
Robbo asks Amber if she'd like to stay for the tinned spaghetti he'd got saved for a special occasion. She says she can't, and she shouldn't really have stayed to help with his application. He puts his hands on her shoulders and tells her that he gets lonely and being with her is the only thing that makes him happy. She tells him that it's too dangerous to be seen together. By a typical Neighbours coincidence, Bailey is riding past and sees them.
Harold's
Susan is telling Holly about when Billy had to move from his school in the country. Susan thought he was fine, but one night she found him crying because he didn't want to leave. Holly asks why Billy didn't tell them, and Susan says Billy didn't want to make them sad. She admits that they were sad, but they couldn't help Billy unless he told them about it. So she tells Holly that she needs to talk about anything, even if she thinks it will make them sad.
HOLLY: Can I have another ice cream?
SUSAN: Oh Holly. Please, no more pretending. Can you... Can you tell me how you feel?
HOLLY: But Dad will hate me.
SUSAN: Oh sweetheart, no. He loves you.
Holly admits that she misses her mum and wants to go home. Susan hugs her.
