No 22 (garden)
Imogen has a go at Josh for threatening Mason, but he's unrepentant, suggesting that Mason's bad news anyway as he has a criminal record. Imogen argues that he just made a mistake. Brad and Terese come outside and intervene, demanding to know what happened between Josh and Mason. But the twins make out it was less than it was, and Brad tells Josh to save his energy for training.

No 32
Mason tells Amber what happened with Josh. Amber defends him, saying Imogen hasn't had many boyfriends and Josh was just being protective. She compares it to how Mason wanted to protect her from Robbo, but Mason says Robbo's a hard- core crim whereas he's not - even if 'Pool Boy' thinks otherwise.

Lauren and Matt come in, but find Amber and Mason arguing about Josh. Like the twins, Mason and Amber make out that the Mason/Josh fall- out was no big deal. Lauren and Matt tell the kids that they've bought Harold's, and the kids congratulate them, hoping for some freebies - but Lauren tells them they'll have to get on the roster to earn them. Lauren and Matt go to fetch some champagne, while Mason and Amber continue to bicker.

No 22 (garden)
Josh is weightlifting, while Imogen continues to have a go at him. Josh thinks their parents would flip if they knew Imogen was dating Mason, but she says they wouldn't even notice. She asks Josh why he's no fun anymore. Conversation turns to Susan nearly busting them for plagiarism; Josh says it's not fair on Imogen to be doing his homework for him. He also admits he feels like he's under more pressure from his dad with the swimming regime since Brad hasn't had a job; but says he can't admit he's feeling the strain, or Brad and Terese will pull him out of swimming for the sake of his schoolwork.

No 26
Chris comes in to find Kate making solid progress through a large tub of ice- cream. While he helps her finish it, he asks if she's heard from Kyle. Chris thinks Kyle's being gutless, and Kate is angry that Kyle's cut himself off. Chris wonders if Kyle is agonising over whether he wants Georgia or Kate, but Kate doesn't think so. Chris gets a text from Georgia, wanting to know if her car's ready - and he says he can't hold her off from going to Frankston any longer.

Ramsay Street
Terese talks to Lauren about Mason and Josh's run- in, but they agree it was probably just a testosterone overload. Karl comes over and congratulates Lauren on buying Harold's, while Terese rushes off for a hairdresser's appointment - she reveals she has a 'date night' with Brad, which they do once a month, where the first rule is no talking about the kids. Lauren looks jealous, and when Karl asks her if she has a similar arrangement with Matt, she pretends they used to do it all the time in Mount Isa, but haven't had the chance since moving to Erinsborough.

Dingoes Gym
Brad and Matt are both weight- training at the gym, while discussing the Josh/Mason run- in. Matt suggests getting both boys to the gym for a bonding session, but Brad says Josh is busy and he doesn't want to push him too hard. Brad leaves, and Karl, who is on a treadmill, says to Matt that the Willises seem like a great family; he explains they moved out just before the Kennedys moved in, but that Lou's told them all about the family history. Matt asks if Karl knows Brad and Lauren dated; Karl confirms that he does, and says everyone has their old flames. Matt looks frustrated.

Ramsay Street
Amber rushes over the road to confront Josh about him losing it with Mason. Josh tells Amber upfront that he doesn't think Imogen should be going out with someone like Mason.

AMBER: You don't know the first thing about him.
JOSH: I know what he's done!
AMBER: You don't know why he did it!
JOSH: Yeah, whatever. I'm late for training.
AMBER: He was trying to protect me. Just like you are with Imogen. She would be lucky to date Mason. If you wanted to go out with me Mason wouldn't have a problem with it.
JOSH: I wasn't planning on going out with you.
AMBER: ... Well that's lucky, because I wouldn't say yes even if you asked.
JOSH: Good!
AMBER: Great!
JOSH: Fine!
AMBER: Terrific!
JOSH: Fantastic! Done?
AMBER: No! Have a great training session!
JOSH: I will!

Amber looks frustrated as Josh walks away.

No 26
Georgia turns up, asking Kate for a lift to the garage - she's going to pick up her car so she can find Kyle in Frankston. She also explains how Chris has been awkward with her, and won't take any money for fixing her car. Georgia is worried that Chris knows something she doesn't about Kyle, but Kate reassures her. Georgia then hugs Kate, thanking her for being so supportive. Panicking, Kate suggests she accompany Georgia to Frankston, as it would help to have a friend there. Georgia thanks her, asking if it's definitely the right thing to go to find Kyle. Kate assures her it is, but looks worried.

Fitzgerald Motors
The girls arrive to pick up the car. While Georgia loads the boot, Kate explains to Chris that she's going with Georgia to Frankston. He's not convinced it's a good idea, but Kate says if the truth comes out during the trip, they'll just have to deal with it. Georgia comes over; she thanks Chris for sorting out the car, and Kate for offering to go with her, but tells Kate she's decided she needs to go and find Kyle alone. They wave her off awkwardly, and Kate comments that Georgia will probably hate her the next time she sees her.

Harold's
Chris and Amber catch up for a coffee; she's worried about how she came across when she shouted at Josh earlier, and worries he'll never go out with her now. Whereas the other day he was even suggesting they went swimming together.

CHRIS: See, that sounds promising.
AMBER: Yeah, if you like swimming - which I don't. But he thinks I do because of my asthma.
CHRIS: You don't have asthma.
AMBER: Exactly.

Chris suggests Amber speak to Imogen, to find out how Josh feels about her; she admits she's already tried that. He insists it's her best option nonetheless. Meanwhile, Chris admits he's got caught in someone else's mess, which is much more complicated than Amber's.

They leave as Matt comes in; Lauren kisses him. She says business is booming, and suggests the two of them have dinner at Harold's tonight, to celebrate. Matt agrees, and Lauren looks pleased.

No 32 (garden)
Amber and Imogen are doing maths homework, but Imogen quickly guesses that Amber has really just invited her over to find out about Josh. Amber wants to know whether Josh likes her or not, but Imogen admits she doesn't know. Amber asks if Imogen wants any goss on Mason, but Imogen says she knows how Mason feels about her - she asked him to his face, as Amber should with Josh. Amber mentions Kate, however, and says Imogen should be careful: boys lie about their feelings all the time, even when they don't know they're doing it. She adds Mason's been pretty low lately, and warns Imogen that she and Mason are probably after different things. Imogen looks disappointed, and leaves.

Ramsay Street
Imogen goes to meet Mason, asking if he wants to hang out tonight. He does, so she invites him round to watch a DVD. He's uncomfortable about Josh being there though. As Imogen's explaining that Josh will be fast asleep, Mason is busy watching Kate's car pull into the driveway at No 26. Clocking his distraction, Imogen tells Mason she really likes him, but that this isn't going to work - he clearly isn't over Kate. He tries to protest, but Imogen leaves; and Mason continues to look at Kate.

No 26
Kate is tutoring Amber, who is quick to tell Kate that Imogen has dumped Mason - and that it's because Imogen knows Mason is still hung up on Kate. Kate tells her the conversation isn't appropriate for a teacher and pupil, but Amber says she's telling her as a friend. Kate tells her to get going.

AMBER: Aren't you glad I told you?
KATE: No.

Kate looks sad as Amber leaves.

Harold's
Lauren is all dressed up for her dinner date with Matt, and they crack open the champagne to celebrate their new business venture.

Charlie's
On the Willises' own date night, Brad immediately mentions Josh and Mason, but Terese reminds him they're not allowed to talk about the kids. Brad reminds her she can't talk about work either.

Harold's
Matt tells Lauren she's going to do a great job of running Harold's, and they're just about to kiss when Karl comes in, gatecrashing their date. Matt invites Karl to pull up a chair and have a glass of champagne, and Lauren looks disappointed as Karl says he has some time to kill before his own dinner!

Charlie's
Terese suggests to Brad that on their next date night they should go to the city and see a band, and Brad suggests they make it an all- nighter, like the good old days. They kiss.

Harold's
Karl offers to invite Susan to join them, but one icy look from Lauren assures him further company is not welcome, as he quickly realises he's intruding himself. However, Matt, who's oblivious to the fact Lauren wanted time for just the two of them, brightly informs her he's invited the kids to join them, and that they'll be here shortly. Lauren rolls her eyes as the three clink glasses again.

No 26
Kyle is back from Frankston, having been dropped off by Honga. Chris is surprised to see him, and explains he's missed Georgia, who has gone to Frankston to find him. Chris has a go at Kyle, saying he shouldn't have disappeared for three days and ignored their calls. Chris tells Kyle to call Georgia, but he says he needs to see Kate first - and won't say why. Chris tells Kyle he's sick of trying to help, and that he's on his own.

Later, Kate comes in to find Kyle on the couch, and furiously lays into him for running away. He's called Georgia, and she's now on her way back; he says he knows he put Kate and Chris in a spot, but he needed some thinking space.

KYLE: This keeps happening to us. I needed to understand why.
KATE: There's nothing to understand; it was a stupid mistake.
KYLE: Two stupid mistakes. It's like, when everything goes wrong, we end up together.
KATE: Please don't say anything you might regret.
KYLE: I know who I want to be with. I just hope it's not too late.
