The Pool
Amber wanders past as Josh and Brad are training at the pool.
Number 22 backyard
Terese is supposed to be listening to Imogen who is reading her her English assignment, but keeps getting distracted by her mobile phone. The boys arrive home from training and breakfast takes over, causing Imogen to give up on her assignment. The boys had a disagreement at training and it seems Josh has a cough. Imogen tries to ask her mother for comments on her assignment, but both parents are worried about Josh's fitness for the trails. Imogen gives up and heads inside. Breakfast is soon interrupted when Paul waltzes in.
Inside, Terese is shocked to learn that Caroline is suing Lassiters for sexual harassment. Paul assures Terese the issue will blow over soon enough. Terese is keen to contact their lawyers but Paul stops her as she picks up her phone. Sensing it may not be as simple as she thinks she asks Paul for the truth, however he claims nothing is going on.
Number 30
Toadie explains to Caroline that she will need to talk about the Lassiter's robbery; did she agree to give false evidence against Mason? She admits she did, but only because Paul wanted her to. Toadie asks if there were any witnesses. She explains on her first day, Paul invited her up to the penthouse suite. She was going to go, but then he changed his mind. She reveals that Paul allows her to use his free tab at Charlie's, on the basis he gets to touch her. She explains Sheila would've seen the previous day when Paul touched her leg at Charlie's. Toadie is shocked at what he is hearing.
Charlie's Bar
Sheila confirms that Caroline had a bar tab funded by Paul, but that it doesn't surprise her given the friendly behaviour she witnessed between them. Toadie attempts to dig a bit deeper and reveals that Caroline is suing for sexual behaviour but Sheila has no intention of being a witness. Toadie is keen to have her as a witness, but Sheila doesn't want to get on the wrong side of Paul so quickly makes up an excuse to head into the office.
Number 32 Backyard
Mason spots Amber sneaking back in to get ready for school. He realises that the only thing that would get his sister out of bed early on a school day must be a guy. Amber quickly changes the subject by asking her brother not to mess Imogen around. She knows he's still hung up on Kate, but reminds him that Imogen genuinely likes him and would be devastated if he broke things off because of Kate.
Charlie's Bar
Sheila reveals to Paul that Toadie was in earlier asking about Caroline. Paul is shocked to hear that Toadies knows about the bar tab but relieved when Sheila admits she didn't give away any of his more risqué moments. Sheila reminds him that he can't just hire staff for their good looks and then take advantage of them; like he did with Rhiannon. Paul puts it back on her though by reminding her of Pete. He reminders her who employs her and advises her to keep her mouth shut should anyone ask any more questions on the matter.
Erinsborough High
Josh arrives late to class after a doctor's appointment and hands Susan a note. Imogen covers for him and produces his essay, which he supposedly left on the kitchen counter. Josh reveals he saw Amber at the pool again that morning and comments she should join the club if she plans on coming every day. She compliments on his swimming techniques and smiles when he asks if he'll see her there the next morning.
Lassiter's Hotel Foyer
Paul has called all his staff to the foyer to draw their attention to a clause in their contract which states that no employee is allowed to discuss business affairs with anyone outside the hotel, with particular reference to the recently dismissed employee. Terese is not best pleased to hear him warn the staff that anyone who breaks those rules and talks to a solicitor on the case will also be dismissed.
Erinsborough High
In her office, Susan is concerned about the similarities between Imogen and Josh's latest essays. Imogen claims that she writes hers herself, up in her room and Josh nods on in agreement. When Susan raises the issue of a university level quote, Imogen explains their mum has access to the journal and probably suggested use of the quote to Josh. Susan doesn't look convinced, but gives them a gentle warning regarding plagiarism and sends them on their way.
Out in the corridor the twins can't quite believe they got away with it. Josh runs off leaving Imogen to catch up with Amber, who seems strangely intrigued by Josh. Imogen advises her friend that her brother doesn't date, but Amber won't let it rest and asks Imogen if she'll find out if Josh is interested.
AMBER: He would be such an improvement on my last boyfriend, my parents would be so proud.
IMOGEN: Well I could be dating Tom Cruise and my parents wouldn't even notice.
AMBER: Eugh; too old; too creepy.
Charlie's Bar
Brad's confused why Josh has suddenly gone quite on him. Terese reminds Brad he is both dad and coach and suggests he involves Josh in more of the decision making so that he has a better understanding of what they're trying to achieve. Brad thanks her for the advice and heads off.
Sheila catches Terese on her way out and asks if the memo Paul has put out is due to her blabbing about the bar tab. Terese has not heard of the bar tab, and agrees to keep Paul in line if Sheila briefs her on what's been going on.
TERESE: If this is about Lassiters, I need to know everything. What else, Sheila?
SHEILA: Oh, Terese; this is just the tip of the iceberg.
Lassiters Complex
Terese confronts Paul over the unlimited access he gave Caroline to the tab at Charlie's. Terese reveals she knows about the other goings on ad warns Paul he needs to start being honest, or they will lose the case due to his ridiculous behaviour. Terese is all set to make a settlement offer, but Paul assures her that Caroline would not take it as far as to court.
TERESE: Why not?
PAUL: Just trust me on this one.
TERESE: Trust you? You lied about everything and now you want me to bury my head in the sand?
PAUL (standing up): You listen to me. We would not be in this situation if you had not fired Caroline in the first place; so save me the lectures.
Paul heads off, leaving Terese furious.
Dingoes Gym
Brad is keen to discuss the training schedule with Josh. Josh admits he would like to spend more time focussing on his turns, to allow him to give middle distance a go. Brad doesn't see the point, as far as he is concerned, Josh is a sprinter. Josh doesn't agree having heard what the other coach, Don, said about him the previous week. Brad reminds his son that they have been training together for years, but Don only saw him swim for five minutes. Brad believes Josh has gold medals in him, if they stick to their plan and work together.
Lassiters Complex
Imogen tells Mason of her latest A+ on her essay. She asks if he's seen much of Kate lately, as Amber thinks he's still interested in here. Mason points out he wouldn't be sat with her if he did. On spotting her mother coming out of the hotel, Imogen moves to sit on Mason's lap and goes to kiss him, but Terese walks straight past and their kiss is interrupted by Mason's phone ringing.
Charlie's Bar
Paul is not happy with Sheila, but she stands by her word that she spoke to Terese with Pauls' best interests.
SHEILA: If you kept your hands to yourself in the first place, none of this would be happening.
Paul threatens to fire her, but she informs him if he does, he'll just have another lawsuit to deal with. Realising he's got no leg to stand on, he heads off, but not before Sheila reminds him his bar tab is now closed and he has to pay like any other customer.
Lassiters Complex
Imogen admits to Mason that she was only going to kiss him to get her mother's attention. Mason is disappointed, but happy to chat as friends. Unfortunately for Mason he pulls Imogen into a friendly hug, just as Josh walks past. Josh is not impressed to see his sister hanging out with Mason and the two boys are soon in fisticuffs.
