Matt and Bailey are having breakfast, and Lauren wants to know why they didn't wake her. Apparently, she'd been up late sorting through junk, or "overdosing on nostalgia" according to Matt. He said he would have helped but she tells him he's a hoarder.
LAUREN: Good job I come from a long line of thrower- outers.
She says she's throwing away the sketches, but Matt says some were really good, like the one of the old house. However, she's put them in the bin. (Ooh good thinking - they'll never be found!) She says there's no point in hanging on to the past and Matt tells her she's a ruthless woman.
Ramsay Street
In the street, Bailey waits in the car while Matt goes to dump something in the bin. He finds Lauren's sketch book, and starts flicking through. Brad walks up and apologises for being out of line the previous evening. Matt tells him to forget it. There's an uncomfortable silence, then Brad asks if the drawings are Lauren's. Matt shows him the sketch of the Mt Isa house. We see the sketch of Brad, but then Bailey sounds the horn and shouts at Matt, and he grabs the book and walks off.
Toadie comes out of No 30 carrying a Bollywood costume. He invites Brad to come to the Shed later. Brad accepts, after commenting on Toadie's "new look". Toadie explains that it's because of Callum's play.
School
Rani tells Callum that she's done a major rewrite and Rani ends up with Sanjay. Bailey looks dejected. Callum wants confirmation that Sanjay and Rani now have a kissing scene, and then says that he'll need lots of rehearsals. He dashes off. Rani turns to Bailey, and says she was going to tell him... He says she's done the right thing, and turns away.
In a classroom, Callum is trying on his costume, while Sonya makes some alterations. She asks why Rani did the rewrites.
CALLUM: I reckon it's so that she didn't have to kiss Bailey.
SONYA: Have you ever heard of being a gracious winner?
CALLUM: No.
Sonya points out that maybe Bailey is upset. He says it's cool and it was always weird with Rani being Callum's girlfriend.
Sonya and Lauren meet in the corridor and Sonya says she and Toadie were disappointed not to make it to the "Bite Club". Lauren is enthusiastic, apart from Matt and Brad getting into an argument.
LAUREN: It was more of a chest beating thing than anything.
She explains to Sonya how she hadn't told Matt about Brad, then Brad told Matt, and Matt got territorial. Sonya says it's twenty years in the past and Lauren agrees it's dead and buried. Sonya starts to ask Lauren something, but she sees Bailey and gives him his lunch, remarking that Matt had left his at home too. She adds that no- one knows where he is, so Bailey says he's gone to the framers: he's getting one of Lauren's old sketches framed. She asks which one, but Bailey doesn't know. Lauren dashes off.
Lassiters complex
A breathless Lauren runs up to the police station as Matt emerges to asks what she's doing there. She asks him about the sketches, and he tells her he's getting the one of the farmhouse professionally framed. It turns out that Ian, another officer, took it to the framers. Lauren rips off the paper to take a look, then asks if he saw any portraits. He says no, then asks if she's OK as she seems stressed. She says she's just surprised and it's all good. He goes back inside, and she breathes a sigh of relief.

Matt has hung up the picture and tells her it's a great sketch. He also says he's smoothed things over with Brad. She's pleased and says he's got no need to be jealous. He says he knows: looking at the picture and what it symbolises shows him he's got nothing to worry about.

Sonya comes round and asks Ajay how he thinks things are going between Callum and Rani. He says Callum is the best choice for a boyfriend for Rani, and the rewrite of the play shows things are good. She babbles on for a while and Ajay says if there's something going on, to tell him. She asks him to keep an eye on them. Ajay looks concerned.

Toadie opens the door to Ajay, and he's barely come in before he starts to speak.
AJAY: Our kids, they're about to have sex! You and me, we've got to stop them, Toad.
TOADIE: Excuse me?
AJAY: Callum and Rani are about to, to... I don't even want to think about it.
Ajay tells Toadie that Rani has rewritten the play to make Callum the hero, and she's even put an extra dance in it.
TOADIE: So?
AJAY: So? A dance, Toad. A DANCE, Toad. Do you know anything about Bollywood storytelling?
TOADIE: Obviously not.
AJAY: All right, I'll break it down for ya. A dance equals (whistles)
TOADIE: Really?
AJAY: Yes! The only thing more explicit is rain.
Toadie is dubious about this theory. Ajay points out that Sonya noticed it as well, but Toadie says she hasn't said anything to him, and besides Ajay doesn't know anything for sure.
AJAY: No, I don't know anything for sure. Let's wait for a teenage pregnancy(!)
Toadie points out that if they want to do it, they will, but suggests talking to them to point out the pitfalls. Ajay is not impressed, but they both agree they never expected this day to come so soon.
Alternating between No 24 and No 30
Ajay tries to give a bemused Rani a talk about life, and decisions. He wants her to be "safe", and he needs to know she's not feeling any pressure from Callum. She assures him she's not. Ajay tells her that he assumed he was trying to protect Callum. She says it's not Callum. Ajay asks her if she and Callum aren't planning to TITTNL™, what's going on?
Meanwhile Toadie talks to Callum about how his decisions will affect Rani. Callum says he's covered it in Health, and he got an A. Toadie tells him that Ajay came over to discuss it. Callum says that must be why Rani made him the hero.
Shed
Matt walks into the shed and finds Brad playing table football. He explains that Toadie gave him a key. Matt goes over to the fridge to get a beer and Brad says he'd better go, but Matt invites him to stay and watch the football with him. Brad agrees to explain the rules to him and the tension eases a bit.
School
Sonya is just finishing Rani's costume, and she casually mentions the play being about Rani and Sanya. Rani is defensive, saying the character is not a bad person because she can't choose between them. Sonya says that no- one is saying that. Rani wonders how anyone is supposed to make a decision like that, because she just wants to make sure no- one gets hurt. Sonya says it's admirable, but you can't always make everyone happy.
SONYA: When you care about somebody, the least you can do is be honest with them, don't you think?
No 30
Callum asks Bailey if he's upset about the play and Bailey says he's not. Callum's pleased because of the way things are with him and Rani. Bailey wants to know what's happened. Cal says nothing yet, but maybe soon. Bailey wants details.
CALLUM: The next level. Well, considering we haven't been to any level, I guess it's the last level. There aren't any levels after this level, are there?
Bailey doesn't think Rani would be into that, but Callum says she's the one who's pushing for it. She even asked her dad for permission. Bailey is incredulous. Callum admits that's what he thought, but tells him that Ajay came over, and that's why Rani rewrote the play. Bailey asks if he's talked to Rani, and Callum says he hasn't: there's plenty of time.
No 24
Rani tells Callum that she really likes him and she values their friendship. He says he does too. She adds that things have been weird lately, and he interrupts saying that he's happy the way things are, and they've got plenty of time before they "do it". Horrified, she asks if he's been talking to Ajay, and he says Ajay's been talking to Toadie, who's talked to him. She's upset, but Callum says they can just carry on as they were. He tells her she's awesome, and smiles at her.
RANI: I kissed Bailey, and he kissed me.
Callum asks when, and she says it was at rehearsals, but she admits it was more than a stage kiss. He asks her if she got caught up in character, but she says she wanted to. She says she wasn't trying to hurt him, but Callum accuses her of always liking Bailey, and storms out.
