Number 24
Rani has made more toast for Ajay. He is concerned about her going back to school today after what happened with the memorial yesterday, but Rani insists she wants to go. Ajay heads off to a meeting with Elaine. And Rani sees her mother standing in the corner of the kitchen. She smiles at the image and carries on as normal.

Number 30
Georgia arrives home from work and looks shattered. Sonya is not impressed to hear she's taken on extra shifts when she is already exhausted. It's o.k. though because Sonya and Nell are going out for a few hours so Georgia will have the house to herself to get some sleep. While riffling through her diary Sonya suddenly realises that Georgia's birthday is coming up. Georgia doesn't want to make a fuss though, she's not ready to feel like the centre of attention.

Erinsborough High
Callum and Bailey are updating Rani on the latest school news when they are met by Alistair who wants to speak to Rani. Callum wants him to back off, but Rani agrees to talk to him. Cal and Bailey wonder what it is Alistair wants to talk about. Bailey thinks Alistair looks quite sad, so maybe he wants to apologise. Cal doesn't think an apology can make up for all the things that happened. Suddenly Rani snaps at Alistair and storms away.

Charlie's
Paul needs his hotel manager to get all the staff to sign a document to say that all procedures were followed correctly the day of the explosion. His manager points out that they have no procedures for doing a wedding in a marquee. There was no time to plan and it was chaos. Paul just needs everyone to agree that nothing was overlooked. Tony can ask people to sign, but they both know that it's not true.

Sheila needs a word. The bar is a shambles without a manager, the rotas need to be done and things are being overlooked. Paul tells her he'll advertise the position, but Sheila wants the job herself. She has plenty of experience running a bar. Paul agrees to think about it. His phone rings and it's our old pal Tim Collins. I've missed him.

Erinsborough High
Callum approaches Alistair. He wants to know what was said to upset Rani so much. All he said was sorry for the facebook page and for what his dad did. Callum can't believe that's all he said to upset Rani so much. They start shoving each other until Susan intervenes.

When the crowds have cleared Susan wants to hear Alistair's side of the story. What exactly did he say?

ALISTAIR: I told her that I wish I'd had a chance to say sorry to her mum before she died. And then she freaked. She ranted at me. At one point she even said she's not even really gone.

Rowanoaks Care Home
Ajay has papers for Elaine to sign to take action against Paul, but Elaine has papers she would like to show Ajay. They are an offer of a $200,000 settlement from Paul. Ajay thinks the money is nothing in comparison to what they deserve. If they win they'd get much more. Elaine points out that if they lose they'd pay costs. Ajay says he'd find a way to cover her, how far will $200, 000 go with the level of care she needs ? Elaine needs certainty.

AJAY: Rhys and Priya, they went to a wedding. It was supposed to be a safe and controlled environment and at the last minute Paul came and moved it to a marquee in a car park. Paul didn't do what he was supposed to do and because of that we lost people that we love. What would Rhys want? Would he let Paul get away with this, because Priya would want me to stick this out. It's for them, Elaine, as much as us. We can't let this go.

Harold's
Vanessa has come into the store to bake for her visit to Elaine. Sonya thinks it is nice that she's still visiting her. Vanessa feels like they're still connected and she needs a distraction from Patrick's heart valve surgery. Sonya reminds her that very soon it will all be over and they'll be able to do all the normal stuff like trips to the shops and the park.

Erinsborough High
Susan sits down for a chat with Rani. Rani assures her that she's fine but believes that Alistair was faking when he apologised because he just likes being mean to her, but she didn't let him get to her. Susan isn't so sure that Rani is o.k. - maybe it was too soon to come back, but Rani is fine and needs to be there. Susan wonders if that's because being at the school makes her feel closer to her mum, but Rani says she's missed enough work already. Susan suggests that Rani could speak to the school counsellor.

RANI: I don't need counselling. I just need for Alistair to leave me alone and for everyone else to let me get on with my school work.

Charlie's
Ajay is on the war path. He can't believe that Paul has been trying to con Elaine. What he offered her was an insult. Paul maintains that he did nothing wrong and he is trying to help out a woman who lost her son through a tragic accident.

PAUL: I'm just looking after her welfare, not filling her head with ridiculous ideas like you are.

He would be happy to make Ajay the same offer. It would be better than making a fool of himself in court and going home with nothing. Ajay isn't going to let Paul get away with what he has done. He'll see him in court.

Lassiters Complex
Callum tries to talk to Rani about when his gram died, but Rani asks him to spare her the talk - Sophie already did that. Cal suggests they take some flowers to Priya's memorial tree, but Rani doesn't get everyone's obsession with the stupid tree, she doesn't need a tree to remember her mum. She storms away. She doesn't want to talk about it.

Charlie's
Seeing that Paul is no longer on the telephone Sheila takes the opportunity to see whether he has given any more thought to her taking over as bar manager, she's got a list of references together, but Paul just wants to be left in peace. He has a sudden dastardly idea. Sheila knows Elaine Lawson! Sheila agrees that she's had a couple of conversations with her over the phone. Paul would like her to talk to her about the settlement he has offered and convince her to take it. It would have a very good outcome for both women.

SHEILA: If you make me manager, I will give you my all because I am a good worker. But I will never be your little errand boy. Ever. If you want to negotiate with Elaine Lawson, do it yourself. Pathetic.

Lassiters Complex
Georgia is yawning, drinking coffee and lost in her own little world so much that she doesn't notice she's about to walk into Sonya and Nell. Sonya is surprised to hear that Georgia has picked up an extra shift as she thought she'd be sleeping all day! She doesn't seem impressed, but Georgia assures her that this is the life of a nurse and she's just dealing with things in her own way.

Rowanoaks Care Home
Vanessa tells Elaine that Lucas has a few people interested in Rhys' car and it should be sold by next week. Elaine tells her that she doesn't have to keep coming if she needs to move on, but Rhys was important to Vanessa and meeting his mum was a bonus. Elaine explains that she's thinking of moving to a care facility nearer her sister but it means having to accept some money from Paul to pay for it and not take legal action with Ajay. Vanessa senses the two men have been hassling her. She agrees that Elaine needs to think about her future and what's best for her, not what suits somebody else.

Hospital
Georgia needs to administer some antibiotics to a patient, but she's a bit confused about what needs to be done so she asks another nurse for assistance. Tina is busy, but agrees then realises that Georgia has the wrong patient.

TINA: Wrong room. Wrong patient. This is what happens when you're tired.

Rowanoaks Care Home
Elaine has yet another visitor, but Vanessa manages to intercept Paul as he arrives. She thinks he's disgusting trying to buy off a defenceless woman. Ajay turns up at this point and Vanessa warns him about trying to take the moral high ground because he's just as bad putting the pressure on Elaine.

AJAY: She knows it's the right thing to do.
VANESSA: For who? For her or for yourself because you need someone to blame? You can tear each other to pieces all you want, but you're not dragging that poor woman into this. Now which of you is going to be the bigger man and let this go.

After the break Ajay goes to Elaine and apologises for pressuring her. He knows she should do what is best for her own interests. She wonders whether he will still pursue the case if she settles.

AJAY: Yep.
ELAINE: Ajay! Is it really worth it?
AJAY: I have to fight for Rhys and Priya, they can't fight for themselves.
ELAINE: But no amount of money will ever bring them back.
AJAY: This was never about money for me. It was always about justice. Whatever decision you make I respect, but my case with Paul, that's not going anywhere.
