Charlie's
Andrew turns up at Charlie's to find Tash already working; he's rather sweetly wondering why Tash didn't wait for him on the corner so they could go to work together. Tash explains she was in a hurry because of Summer leaving, and asks whether Summer said anything to Andrew about his and Tash's relationship before she went; he says not really. Chris arrives to tease Tash.
CHRIS: Is it weird yet? You know, working with your boyfriend?
TASH: Chris, he's not my boyfriend!
CHRIS: Yeah, well whatever you call it.
TASH: We're friends.
CHRIS: With benefits.
TASH: Well, unlike you I'm happy with a meaningless fling.
Tash insists working with Andrew isn't awkward, because it's 'not even a thing'.

Lucas is taking some photos of Baby Villante, and tells Vanessa he's been thinking of some names - but doesn't want to pick one that will get the baby bullied when he reaches school- age. On this basis he rejects Scott ('Scott no friends'), Elliot ('Smelliot'), and Lucas ('Mucus', 'Spewcas', 'Lucarse'), but doesn't like Vanessa's suggestion of Maurizio (after her uncle) either. Vanessa doesn't like it either really; she's pleased she and her mum are talking again but isn't going to let Francesca dictate the baby's name.

Sonya is asleep when Kyle comes to visit, with flowers for her and a stuffed penguin for Nell. Sonya's doing well but Georgia tells Kyle she can't have visitors right now as she needs rest. Just as Kyle hands Georgia the flowers so she can put them in a vase, Scotty turns up and thinks Kyle is giving them to Georgia. She explains the truth and Kyle makes an excuse to leave, while Georgia and Scotty kiss. Scotty wants to spend the day with Georgia, but hadn't thought to check whether she was working - and acts all aggrieved when she explains that she is. She suggests she might be able to take her lunch break early, which cheers Scotty up.
Charlie's
Andrew is interviewing for a new staff member and is asking three candidates - Gabby, Eloise and Michaela - some questions. Kate, who is drinking alone at the bar, comments on how interesting it is that Andrew is interviewing three girls at once, and no guys. Tash, however, isn't amused, and interrupts the interview to ask what's going on. Andrew takes her aside and explains they can afford to take on a new member of staff.
TASH: Did the ad ask for references, or bra sizes?
Andrew says some of the candidates are impressive, but Tash isn't convinced it's their waitressing credentials that are impressing him, and suggests he gives the girls a trial shift to work out whether any of them are halfway competent. He can't as he has a meeting, so Tash offers to take the reins instead! She promises to be nice, and Andrew agrees.
Shortly after, Tash sets the three candidates to work. Cue a montage, in which Tash swiftly sabotages the would- be waitresses' efforts. First, she swaps two of the food orders, so that Kate gets the wrong meal. Then she loosens the top on the ketchup bottle so that another of the girls ruins an order of chips. Having given these two candidates their marching orders, she quickly dispatches the third by telling her Charlie's is a terrible place to work and that she'd be better off at Grease Monkeys. Kate watches all this with amusement.

Francesca has come round to look at the baby photos, and sure enough suggests Maurizio, and also Giuseppe, as potential baby names. Vanessa vetoes the first, and Lucas the second ('Giuseptic'). Rhys turns up, and kisses Vanessa; he tells her he has something for her, and gives her his mum's ring as a token of their engagement - in front of both Lucas and Francesca. Vanessa quickly reveals she hasn't told her mum yet that they're together, and Francesca looks bemused. Vanessa shows Rhys out; he's feeling guilty for dropping her in it but she tells him it will be fine. Francesca has other ideas.
FRANCESCA: You just leap from one mess to the next, don't you?
Later, over tea and biscuits, Francesca demands an explanation. Vanessa tells her how Rhys was there when she went into labour, and then proposed after the baby had been delivered. Francesca thinks she's crazy for agreeing to it, but Vanessa says she's sick of being judged, so Francesca seems to accept her decision.
Lassiter's
Scotty has booked a table at the Terrace restaurant for him and Georgia, despite the fact that she only has a short lunch- break. When she explains she doesn't have time for a sit- down meal he gets annoyed; he can't do this evening as he has to get back to the farm, but Georgia's annoyed that he expects her just to neglect her own job to spend extra time with him. Georgia walks off, leaving Scotty looking perplexed.
Lassiter's Complex
Chris and Andrew are walking towards Charlie's, Andrew carrying a crate of wine. Chris none too subtly suggests he take a couple of bottles for a romantic dinner with Tash. Grinning, Andrew reminds Chris he doesn't drink, and says he and Tash aren't in that sort of a place anyway. He adds that, far from being awkward at work, their 'friends with benefits' arrangement has resulted in Tash being more helpful around the bar - and that she's even interviewing potential staff. At this point Tash emerges from the bar.
ANDREW: So, do we have a winner?
TASH: Hardly. Where did you find those girls, Andrew - Skanks Anonymous?
ANDREW: What happened?
TASH: I had to send them all home because they were useless.
ANDREW: That wasn't your job. I'm the manager.
TASH: You delegated.
ANDREW: You offered.
CHRIS: I might leave you to it.
ANDREW: I don't need the best waitress in the universe.
TASH: Obviously, because you've already got me.
Andrew still needs an extra staff member but Tash tells him not to freak out; she has a Plan B...
Charlie's
Plan B turns out to be Sheila! She's certainly qualified, having run a pub in Frankston and worked in several other bars; Andrew tries to talk the job down to put her off, but she won't take no for an answer.
ANDREW: I will have to run it past my dad; he can be very tough.
SHEILA: Rubbish! Your dad's a pussy- cat. And do you really have to check with your dad just to hire a barmaid? What kind of manager are you really?
ANDREW: ...
SHEILA: I know - why don't you hire me on a one- month trial basis?
TASH: That sounds amazing!
SHEILA: Yeah. And after a month you can get rid of me. No hard feelings!
TASH: All settled then. Come on then. Let me show you round.
ANDREW: ...
As Tash gives Sheila the guided tour, Kate descends on Andrew to grass up Tash, explaining how she sabotaged the other barmaid candidates earlier on. Kate assumes it was because they were 'hot' and thus would get more tips that would otherwise have been Tash's, but Andrew realises what was really going on and looks quite pleased with himself. Meanwhile, Kyle isn't thrilled to learn Sheila will be working at Charlie's, as now she can boss him about both at home and at the pub!
Andrew moans to Tash that Sheila is old, and doesn't have the vibe he had in mind for Charlie's - unlike the girls from earlier. He adds that cute waitresses sell more beer; it was purely a business decision on his part to interview them, and he lets on that Kate told him how Tash scared them away.
TASH: Well Kate needs to get a life.
Andrew outright accuses Tash of being jealous of the other girls. She denies it and walks off, but Andrew can't wipe the smile off his face.

Andrew calls round to see Tash, and tells her things are getting awkward. She thinks he's trying to break things off, but he quickly tells her otherwise.
ANDREW: What I'm trying to say to you is... it is okay that you were jealous.
TASH: I don't know why you keep insisting that I was jealous.
ANDREW: Because you like me. And I like you. A lot.
TASH: So what is this, then? What are we doing?
ANDREW: It's time we stopped pretending that it doesn't mean anything.
They kiss.
TASH: Are we actually doing this? Because as soon as we say this is something serious, we can't just take it back again.
ANDREW: I don't want to take it back.
TASH: Me neither.
More kisses and hugs.

Francesca is feeling guilty; she asks Vanessa if she's marrying Rhys because of her, and because she pushed her into marriage 'in the past' (well, about a month ago, actually). Vanessa tells her it's not because of that. She admits she knows Lucas has real feelings for her, and that she started having feelings for him too - but that she's not sure they were real. Francesca tells Vanessa it's not too late to change her mind about Rhys's proposal; she can still be with Lucas if that's what she wants. Vanessa genuinely doesn't know what to do, but Francesca tells her not to fret on it; the main priority is the baby.
Erinsborough Hospital
Lucas and Vanessa have brought the baby in for a check- up. While Georgia checks him over, they continue to discuss names.
LUCAS: Hey, we could run a competition. You know, name the baby, get a free car service!
VANESSA: Hmm. Throw in a year's supply of cupcakes.
LUCAS: Cupcake!
But as they joke and laugh, Georgia looks increasingly worried about the baby's heartbeat. Not saying anything to them, she goes out into the corridor to find the paediatrician, but runs into Rhys instead. Despite her worry that it's a conflict to talk to him about it, Rhys insists on knowing what's wrong. Georgia admits that the baby's heartbeat is rapid and irregular, and that he's got poor colour in his fingers and toes. She wants someone else to have a look, and Rhys says he'll deal with it. He watches a happy Vanessa and Lucas through the window with the baby, and looks concerned.
