Dial a Kyle
Kyle is taking out his frustrations about Lou while chopping up wood and ranting off to Jade. After listening to him, Jade explains that she can't tell him what to do; he's got to decide that for himself.
Number 30
Sonya feels that Jellyfish has gotten bigger overnight and Toadie rushes to take a pic/put it up on Twitter. Cal as usual wants nothing to do with it and when Sonya notices that what he wants for lunch (ham) has finished, offers to shout him lunch since she feels they haven't spent a lot of time together lately.
Number 26
Jade is surprised to see Sheila in the house when she comes home for lunch so Kyle explains he called her because the whole Lou thing was doing his head in and wanted some family.
Number 32
Lucas and Vanessa decorate the house with their respective belongings, even if Lucas hates one of the pictures she has! Vanessa enquires if he's spoken to Lou and Lucas replies that he has and feels assured that Lou will be alright especially after his overseas trip.
Rhys drops by to lend a hand and Lucas's demeanour immediately drops.
Number 26
Sheila wants to know why she's been summoned and Kyle explains all. She isn't amused at what Lou did and demands he cuts him out of the business - sod the contract they have, loyalty went out the window when Lou did what he did! Jade is sitting on the fence though; she feels that he will do the right thing, "whatever that is."
Charlie's
Callum can't wait to get his "bonding session" over with and equally Sonya bemoans to Susan/Summer about their lunch when she goes to the bar to pay. Susan regales tales that her kids were just as bad with the monosyllable responses and gives her a word of warning - things will get worse before it gets better! Summer's advice is for them not to talk about girls but Sonya replies that it's too late!
Things then go from bad to worse though for Sonya - her card has been refused (problems with the name change) and is aghast to watch the talking barman cut it up in front of her! Sonya wants to go home to get cash to pay the bill but talking barman refuses to let her/Cal leave!
Dial a Kyle
Kyle arrives at the yard to find a note from Lou saying 'I'm surprised it lasted this long and a pressie of an axe.
Harold's Store
Lou is telling Kate about the pressie he gave Kyle when Sheila and Kyle walk in. Sheila wants them to go somewhere, "where the air's a bit fresher," but Kyle ignores his Gran and heads to the counter before turning back to confront Lou.
Surprisingly, Kyle wants to put it all behind them and move on. Lou can't believe what he's hearing as he stands up to shake Kyle's hand. Sheila of course has to get her tuppenceworth in, telling Lou that Kyle is, "too good for the likes of you," and having a right go at him. Kyle reminds her that it isn't like she hasn't made mistakes before either! Sheila then demands to know where he got the money to repay Kyle.
SHEILA: Probably robbed another Peter to pay Paul.
Kate tries to stand up for Lou but despite him wanting her to keep quiet, she tells them that she was the one who paid the money back and explains why.
Number 26
Sheila is still on her high-horse when they arrive home but Kyle wants to draw a line over the whole thing and move on. Next on Sheila's radar is Jade, thanking her for giving Kyle another chance, but while she wants to prolong the chat, Jade doesn't because she's trying to forget it happened.
Charlie's
Callum is curious why Sonya is trying to get hold of Toadie and more importantly why they can't leave. Eventually she comes clean and Cal comes up with a cunning plan - they will do a runner (while talking barman is distracted by a delivery) and come back later with the cash.
Harold's Store
Vanessa and Lou catch up with each other and she doesn't seem too happy to discover that he's staying at Lassiters.
Number 32
Lucas comes home to find that they have a new housemate - Lou! She isn't impressed that he turned Lou down earlier and demands to know why Lou can't move in but Lucas can't/won't come up with a reason, so is resigned to living again with Lou.
(Later)
Rhys comes round to take Vanessa out for dinner, despite Lucas indicating he's already cooked for three (even if it's a bit stretched since he didn't know about Lou when buying ingredients). Eventually, he realises that he can't come up with an excuse to make her stay, so gives his permission for her to skip dinner.
Number 30
Callum is literally counting the pennies to pay their bill and confesses that he "enjoyed" them doing a runner (as far as mother/son bonding goes) which is music to Sonya's ears just as Toadie arrives home. She demands his wallet before running out the door and he asks Callum if he wants to know what is going on! "No!" Cal replies.
Charlie's
Sonya settles her bill with Tash and quickly retrieves the cut up card (before hurrying out of the premises) when Tash enquires what she wants her to do with it!
Lou comes by the bar to buy dessert for himself and Lucas and gets chatting to Jade. He tells her that he plans on getting out of Kyle's business once he's sorted some other things out. "Been a long time coming," he adds before going on to ask that she doesn't go too hard on Kate because it was her who saved his neck by not telling Kyle and paying it off. "Can't be easy keeping that sort of thing from your friends," he is saying when Jade suddenly gets up and leaves.
Number 26
Jade thinks she is telling Kyle something new when she comes rushing home to tell him about Kate's role in what happened. He is then forced to admit that he knows which causes Jade to go off on one about him not giving Kate a hard time unlike he did Lou/Sheila. It then dawns on him what her ranting is really about.
KYLE: This is still about us.
JADE: Don't be ridiculous.
KYLE: No, this has nothing to do with the books, you haven't moved on, have you?
JADE: No, don't you dare try to turn this around on me Kyle.
KYLE: Answer the question Jade, tell me I'm wrong?
JADE: ...
KYLE: You know what, how many times? I kissed Kate, it was a mistake and I've said I'm sorry for it but you can't keep kicking me. Just tell me what I need to do so we can get it over with.
JADE: (sarcastically) Oh just get it over with!
KYLE: You know what I mean!
JADE: You know if it was me who helped Lou and not Kate, do you think you would have gone as easy on me?
KYLE: It doesn't even make sense.
JADE: Answer the question Kyle! Tell me I'm wrong?
Kyle refuses to play her games any longer and frustratingly, she tells him to, "just forget it," before walking out of the kitchen. "You can't hold this over me forever," he yells out as we head into the final commercial break.
(Later)
Kyle catches Jade just before she exits the house to say he's got something important to say. She turns back and hears him say that she "has to let it go." "Its not that easy," she replies but he hasn't finished.
KYLE: Maybe this was too soon. What if we're trying to force things getting back together?
JADE: (going towards him) No, I want this. I was making an effort.
KYLE: You made me dinner.
JADE: (put out) It was more than just dinner.
KYLE: What if it wasn't enough? What if you can't get past it?
JADE: (going to hold him) Kyle.
KYLE: Jade there's no future for us if this is going to keep coming up. I can't do it.
JADE: What?
KYLE: I'm sick of apologising, I'm sick of fighting and I'm sick of not being happy. You've got to get over this, and I mean really get over it, otherwise I'm out.
Kyle then walks away, back into the kitchen, leaving Jade standing in the middle of the livingroom with tears in her eyes.
As the credits goes up there is a change in them. Sonya is now credited as Sonya Rebecchi and likewise Callum as Callum Rebecchi.
