Night-time. Someone is knocking loudly at the door and Rhys answers; it's Vanessa, who's come round to make amends. Rhys doesn't understand why she doesn't want to go with him, but Vanessa says she can't, because she hates flying and doesn't want to put herself through it now she's pregnant. Rhys thaws a bit and says her secret's safe with him.

Andrew shows off the graphics he's been doing for the app - Tash really likes them, but Ed thinks they're pretty basic. The press event Andrew's arranged is at midday, and Tash promises she and Ed will have the app ready by then. Ed continues to scorn Andrew's emphasis on publicity - particularly the invitation of blogger Bit Grinch, who Ed hates - and the two start rowing.
TASH: Guys, can you stop? This sounds a lot like the chicken and the egg thing, and they still haven't sorted that out.
ED: Actually, they have.
Tash tells them they need to work as a team, and she and Ed head off to prepare.

Rhys comes around. He's eager to find a treatment for Vanessa's flying phobia, so she can come to Japan with him. They head to her bedroom to find something to 'take her mind off it', much to Lucas's annoyance. Lucas then finds Rhys's application form for the Japan tour on the kitchen counter - with Vanessa's name on it.

Toadie is amusing himself and Sonya by posting hilarious messages on Jellyfish's very own Twitter feed (we learn Toadie's brother Stonie is now a follower), when Lucas comes in. They console him over his failure to buy No 24 and suggests he and Vanessa put the exploits of their own unborn child on Twitter too. Lucas isn't amused, and tells them Vanessa's leaving for a few months. He's clearly upset about it, and heads off to get a coffee.
No 24
Rhys continues to badger Vanessa about her phobia, and suggests she try some hypnosis. Vanessa says it won't work on her, but she goes along with it. Rhys, who is apparently a trained hypnotist on top of all his other medical skills, attempts to put her into a trance and it appears to be working.

Tash tries to gauge Ed's opinion on which of a variety of spangly tops she should wear for Andrew's promo event, but Ed is more concerned that he's found a bug in the app. Tash says she'll call Andrew, but Ed tells her to wait.

Rhys gets Vanessa to visualise being on a plane, and she appears to be responding well - but she doesn't seem very scared, and is more bothered about being served champagne and complaining about airline food, even when they hit turbulence. Annoyed, Rhys brings her out of the trance and demands to know the real reason she doesn't want to go with him. She admits she doesn't want to leave Lucas.
Fitzgerald Motors
Sonya pays Lucas a visit, and learns Vanessa is going to Japan with Rhys. Lucas admits he was looking forward to getting a house with Vanessa and building a life. Sonya suggests that Lucas should tell Vanessa how he feels about her, but he's unwilling - saying that if he was going to do it, he should have done it sooner. Sonya says it's never too late.

Vanessa tells Rhys she doesn't want to deny Lucas the chance of being involved in the pregnancy, and that she was scared of telling Rhys in case it frightened him off. Rhys reassures her that he knew she was pregnant when they got together and that he understands. He says it's up to her whether or not she comes to Japan, but that either way he's with her for the long-haul.

Ed has ruled out a problem with the algorithm, which is apparently good, as it means the possibilities of where the bug resides are confined to two hundred lines of code. Andrew turns up and demands to know whether the app is ready, and they're forced to admit there's a glitch. Andrew hits the roof and reminds them they only have an hour if they want to get the app ready in time for the press event at Charlie's.
Ramsay Street
Vanessa tells Lucas about Rhys inviting her on the Japan trip, but says she won't go if he doesn't want her to. Lucas tells her she should go, as it's a great opportunity. She hugs him gratefully and says she'll send him heaps of photos - but the pensive look over her shoulder tells us he isn't really happy.
No 26
Vanessa tells Rhys she's coming with him, and he's overjoyed. They start messing about on the sofa as Rhys pretends to hypnotise her again.
Charlie's
Andrew dazzles the assembled journalists by explaining the anti-gambling ethos behind the Odds On app, and promises they'll get to try it out soon. They start asking awkward technical questions, so he stalls by rambling on about Tash being a former model and a maths genius, and buying them drinks.
No 28
Ed continues to search for the faulty code. Tash suggests trying the variable commands, and her intuition proves correct. They load it onto the server and let Andrew know it's ready. Tash and Ed share a celebratory hug and there's an almost-kiss moment between them, but it's interrupted by Andrew calling. Andrew says the app's working fine and that the journalists want to meet them.
Charlie's
While Ed gets drinks, Tash joins Andrew and is introduced to one of the journalists, Matt, the writer of the Bit Grinch blog, who has asked if they would be willing to do an interview on the app tomorrow. They agree, and Tash can't wait to tell Ed. But Andrew says he thinks he and Tash should do the interview without Ed: Ed has already said he thinks the blogger is an idiot, so leaving Ed out of the interview would be best for the business.
Lassiter's Complex
Lucas tells Sonya that he's still searching for houses and is on the way to meet an agent, but that Vanessa is still going to Japan. Sonya again tries to convince Lucas to tell Vanessa how he feels - but his mind's made up. He thinks if Vanessa has a home to come back to after Japan, then he'll still have a chance with her. Sonya is unconvinced, but wishes him luck in his meeting with the agent.
