Dial-A-Kyle
Kyle and Kate continue to kiss until he breaks it off. He apologises and says it came out of nowhere; he just got carried away with them being a couple. He insists he loves Jade. Kate says she should go but asks that they keep it between them, it was a mistake and they should forget about it. Kyle agrees and Kate walks away.

Number 26 / Number 24
The camera pans past a photo of Kyle & Jade together, to reveal Kyle sitting in the kitchen, lost in thought. Fade in to Kate, who's sitting on her couch, lost in thought. We then go back for a zoom in on Kyle and then back for a zoom in on Kate, showing us that they're both clearly doing a lot of thinking.

Number 28
Karl and Tash are searching for maths jokes on 'The Search Engine.'

KARL: There are only 3 types of people in the world. Those who can count, and those who can't. (Laughs) It's good.
TASH: It's shocking.
KARL: There are 10 types of people in this world, those who get binary and those who don't.
TASH: (Laughing) That's actually pretty good.
KARL: I don't get it.

Chris and Summer enter, Karl tells them that Tash is transferring to a Mathematics course. Chris is pleased, while Summer pulls what I affectionately call the 'Summer Hoyland face.' Summer looks around and sees Tash's makeup kit lying out in the living room. She asks if they have any food left over, Karl and Tash only catered for themselves, but there might something in the fridge. Chris leaps into the action and goes to find food. Karl asks Summer to bin the empty food boxes that he and Tash were using, Summer pulls the 'Summer Hoyland face' again.

Lassiters Exterior
Jade is running outside Lassiters and when she stops for a breath she bumps into Troy. Troy's lawyer has told him that she will be speaking against him at the hearing tomorrow, he's surprised she told Sonya. He asks what everyone else will think, as after tomorrow the whole street will know.

TROY: They're all going to know that you shacked with your own sister's boyfriend. They're all going to know that you're a victim, a weak victim.
JADE: I've got nothing to be ashamed of.
TROY: In that case, see you tomorrow.

Jade takes out her phone and makes a phonecall.

Number 26
Kyle answers his mobile. Jade tells him she needs to talk to him right now, there's something she hasn't told him and he needs to know. Jade hangs up. Kyle quickly writes a text.

Number 24
Kate receives a text from Kyle, reading 'I have to tell her'

Number 28
Chris is raiding Karl's fridge, and asks Tash if they have cheese. Tash thinks she might have used it all last night, so Summer says they need to have a rule, that whoever takes the last of something replaces it. Karl says it's alright because he's heading to the shops anyway. He hands Tash some of her clothes that he's ironed. Karl heads out. Chris wonders whether they can eat anything else, but Summer notes that all the good food has been taken. Tash goes to her bedroom.

CHRIS: I'm sensing some tension here.
SUMMER: This is unbelievable.
CHRIS: What is?
SUMMER: This. Look at this place, her stuff is everywhere, it's a tip.
CHRIS: What, she's not as much of a neat freak as you are?
SUMMER: Karl never pulls her up on it. And then she finally decides to stop wasting time and start a real course and Karl's like, oh, isn't she fantastic. Let's celebrate.
CHRIS: I just think he's being nice.
SUMMER: He's indulging her for what she should have been doing in the first place. It's like congratulating you for brushing your teeth. (Chris smells his breath.) I have always done the right thing around here and when has Karl ever bought me a special lunch, or done my ironing.
CHRIS: Ah, I get it, you're jealous.
SUMMER: She shouldn't be getting special treatment because she's finally getting her act together.

Chris asks if they should head out for food, Summer refuses to leave, this is her house and she's staying. She decides to make pancakes.

Number 24
Kate hasn't moved from the same spot for at least 3 scenes, clearly still lost in thought, she's texting Kyle, 'Kyle, pls take time 2 think about this.' Lucas comes through with some soup, saying he's made some for Kate but she's not hungry. Lucas says she should see a doctor since she's off work sick, she tells him it's not that type of sick and she wants him to drop it. (The middle of a summary is not the place for me to criticise Kate for pulling a sicky for the manager's job that she effectively got through a free giveaway, and the reason for skiving work is because she's kissed her best friend's boyfriend, so I'll just 'tut' to voice my disapproval.)

She asks Lucas to give her some peace, while she erases what she's written and writes 'We could all end up getting hurt.' Lucas dares to turn on the TV, prompting Kate to get out of her couch groove and go to her room, proclaiming that 'this is pointless.'

Number 26
Jade returns home, asking Kyle to sit down. Before Kyle can say more than an 'uh' sound, Jade interrupts him and says she has to tell him something now or she never will. She should have told him something a long time ago, but she didn't because she's gutless, and she's worried what he'll think of her.

JADE: You know that ex-boyfriend of mine that I told you about... well it's Troy.
KYLE: Sonya's ex? Hang on, but he's Callum's dad and they were together back... are you serious?
JADE: When they broke up, he came to me wanting support, and I was so angry at her for leaving, and I fell for everything he said, I'm such an idiot.

Kyle hugs her and says she's not an idiot. He asks if she's been dealing with this ever since Troy came back, she nods, and he hugs her, saying she'll be okay.

(Later)
Jade's been crying, and asks what Kyle is thinking. He wants to go over and hit Troy, but Jade says Troy would use that against them. She appreciates the thought though. Kyle says she hasn't done anything to be ashamed of, but she feels ashamed that he let him use her and hurt her, and by not telling anyone, she let him get away with it. She tells Kyle that she's going to give evidence against Troy at the custody hearing tomorrow. Kyle offers to go with her, basically he's amazingly supportive for a guy who just cheated on her. She now asks him about what's going on with him, he pulls his hand away from hers, and tells her he got the caravan park contract (not going into the details of how he got it though.) Jade apologises for not being there for him, she says she's proud of him and kisses him.

Number 28
Chris and Summer have finished their pancakes, Chris wants to tidy up but Summer insists they leave it, as she wants to see what happens when she doesn't tidy up. Karl returns home with the shopping, sees the mess and starts to tidy it, but Summer leaps to her feet and insists that he doesn't, as she will clean it up. She asks Karl if the same rule should apply to everyone, meaning Tash. Karl says he has slipped into parent mode, he says that he and Susan would always spoil the kids when they had a lot of studying to do.

Tash comes through and notices the silence in the room. Karl tells her that while he might help when she has a lot of studying to do, everyone should tidy up after themselves. Tash agrees and is about to head back to her room when Summer asks if she'll take the stuff she left out earlier. Tash asks Karl if she can do so later, he says as long as it gets done, it's fine, so Tash will tidy up after she finishes the chapter she's on. Karl excitedly tells Tash that he finally gets the binary joke, explaining the joke as well, she's very pleased for him and he's very pleased with himself.

Ramsay Street
Kyle leaves his house, saying he's booked solid at work to someone on the phone. He sees Troy packing things into his car, and decides to walk over there. Kyle tells Troy that he knows what he did to Jade. Troy accuses Jade of lying. Kyle says he's weak for doing 'stuff like that' to Jade (no need to be coy Kyle).

TROY: You're pathetic, just like your skank of a girlfriend

Kyle pushes Troy against a wall, and raises his fist about to hit him, Troy encourages him to do it.

Jade leaves her house, and sees Kyle walking away from Troy's driveway. She rushes over, while Troy carries on moving bits of wood to and from his car. Jade asks Kyle if he hit Troy. He didn't, but he was very close to doing so. Jade says he's better than that. She hugs him, just as Kate leaves her house to collect the paper. They look at each other from across the street while Kyle hugs Jade. Kate heads back inside, and Jade says she needs to get back to Sonya, and asks Kyle to hang out with her for the rest of the day. He agrees, but needs a minute to chill first. Jade goes over to Sonya's, and Kyle heads back to his house, stopping for a moment to look over at Kate's.

Number 24
Kate comes in, and tells Lucas she wants to make a green curry for dinner. As Lucas leaves, Kyle enters. Kate asks Kyle if he told Jade, he says he wanted to, but it's not the right time. He doesn't know if he's going to tell her later. Kate says they should forget that this happened. He hates being a phoney, and wants to cut contact with Kate, it's the only way to make things work with Jade. Kyle leaves.

Number 28
Chris and Summer finish the washing up. Tash arrives with a handful of dishes that she leaves by the sink. Chris thanks Summer for the lovely pancakes and leaves. Summer asks Tash if she's going to do the dishes, she says she will eventually. Tash says this passive aggressive thing about cleaning is just because Summer wants to say 'I told you so,' because Summer had always said she would be better off doing something more challenging. Summer says she doesn't give a stuff about the course, she wants to live in a clean house, and she's sick of Tash getting away with murder.

SUMMER: Study crop circles on the moon for all I care. I just hate how lazy you are and that Karl lets you get away with it.
TASH: So you don't even care that I've changed courses?
SUMMER: Tash
TASH: I thought you'd be happy for me, I'm challenging myself
SUMMER: I am happy for you
TASH: Really?
SUMMER: Yes, you're very smart and you should be making the most of it.

Tash heads back to the book, when Summer clears her throat loudly. Tash gets the hint and goes to wash the dishes first.

Number 26
Kate comes to Kyle's door, she asks if Jade is here, but she isn't. Kate comes in, and they talk with the door wide open (if this was a soap opera it would be the perfect opportunity for somebody to eavesdrop on their private conversation.) Kate says this idea of his would never work, as Jade will realise something's up when they suddenly stop talking. They say they'll spend more time with her one on one, and it'll be fine.

KATE: So you're serious, I just never get to see you?
KYLE: It's the way it's got to be Kate.
KATE: You kissed me, you felt something, we both did, this isn't just going to go away Kyle.
KYLE: I told you, it was a mistake
KATE: It didn't feel like that. Why can't you just admit it, there's something here, there's something between us.
KYLE: Oh would you get over yourself, Kate. I'm a guy, we do this sort of stuff, it doesn't mean anything, it doesn't mean anything at all (way to sell out your gender there Kyle)
KATE: You said you used to have feelings for me
KYLE: Ancient history. Today was just a brain snap, there's nothing more to it. You're just going to have to deal with that, okay.

Kyle holds the door open as Kate leaves.

Number 30
Jade is ironing, when Kyle comes around. He asks Jade for a hug, when they hug, he tells her he will stay there tonight, and he'll be with her tomorrow, through all of it. Jade says she is scared, but he says Troy will never hurt her again. They'll get through it together.

Tomorrow on Neighbours
- Susan tells Rhys that Vanessa's taking a cookery class
- Vanessa asks Rhys what he's doing at the class.
- Toadie hopes that after the meeting and the evidence is presented that Troy and Ajay will drop their case.
- Jade doesn't like the idea of being in the same room as Troy
- Toadie says that with the evidence, they will contest that Troy is not fit to share parenting.
