Previously on Neighbours
Lucas finding out about Michael/Emilia.
Number 28/Number 22
Chris plays sound bite to both Summer and Andrew over their argument with each other over whose career is more important regarding the comments made and Summer's refusal to remove them.
Andrew tries to hand out fliers for the Red Cotton gig but nobody wants one... well all except some older lady who is told to pass it onto her grandkids!
Michael and Emilia help Tash overcome her fashion crisis and as she goes off to get changed, Michael gets a call from Priya summoning him into work for a meeting. Emilia tries to warn him about Lucas being there but he's confident Lucas will have calmed down by now.
Kate and Jade arrange a drink date but Lucas rejects the offer to join them. Reluctantly though, he does accept Michael's offer of them chatting before the school meeting, when Michael approaches asking for a word.
With the guys departing, Jade and Kate discuss what has been happening, with Jade remarking that its low to steak someone else's partner especially when it's to your best mate.
Lucas and Michael come to a stop in amongst the trees and Lucas makes it clear he only went for the chat because he didn't want the girls to hear him tell Michael that they are no longer mates and that isn't going to change! "Sorry," Michael says to him but its water off a ducks back to Lucas but he does say that he will be professional to him in school however to forget about it outside of there.
"I would hate to be in that meeting," Kate remarks to Jade after Lucas comes back and knocks back what was left of his drink before leaving.
Paul reports to Kate that Sophie is having a great time at soccer camp but she turns down the opportunity of going with him to watch some videos that Soph sent him because she needs to get ready for her drinks date with Jade.
As Paul leaves, Emilia comes rushing over to check that things are still okay between Kate and herself what with Lucas being her housemate. Kate replies its fine between them and tells Emilia about Lucas' behaviour post chat with Michael (he was still pretty angry), which comes as a bit of a surprise to Emilia.
Emilia approaches Lucas as he works on a car and says Lucas that Michael doesn't know she's visiting. "I don't know why you're bothering," he calls to her so she drags him out from underneath the car! She tries to smooth the path between Michael/Lucas but he isn't interested even when she tries to explain that they have a complicated relationship which goes back years.
LUCAS: It doesn't excuse what you did fifteen years later.
She tries to tell him something but can't seem to get the words out/right so he grabs some tools and resumes working on the car and Emilia eventually leaves.
Emilia distracts herself from her problems to help Tash out who is having more fashion woes - apparently retro is all in fashion now.
Sum pleads for Andrew to hear her out when she calls round. She apologises for hurting him but he thinks she is lying to him and walks out on her as he has a meeting to get to.
Sum unloads her latest woes about the comments/Andrew to Chris.
Andrew tries to reassure Celeste that he's doing all he can to make the gig a success. She is pleased with what she hears.
Chris reassures Summer that Andrew will be fine once the gig is over with.
Celeste tries to calm Andrew down over the comments and reports that ticket sales are great thanks to the publicity gained over the comments.
Andrew calls by to report on his meeting with Celeste and to report that ticket sales are up thanks to the publicity. "So does that mean we are alright?" Summer asks and gets a "yes" and a kiss back. Chris suggests a trip into the city as a way of celebration, which Sum/Andrew readily agree to.
While Sum is off getting ready, Andrew rejects Chris' suggestion that he should work with Summer when planning gigs in the future as he wants to keep their personal/business lives separate.
Emilia returns with a retro outfit for Tash that meets with her approval - a black leather jacket. "It was your mum's," Emilia eventually tells her and adds that she bought it on her 18th with her birthday money and wore it to Uni virtually every day. Tash is happy with the jacket, it even fits perfectly!
TASH: I'm really glad you're in our lives.
EMILIA: Me too.
TASH: This whole thing with Lucas must have been really hard on dad but you made it easier for him so...
Michael does a double take when he enters the house and spots Tash. He's almost speechless but eventually manages to say to her that she looks amazing.
"She's the spitting image of Helena," Michael remarks to Emilia after Tash skips off happily to her room. Emilia explains that she never gave up hope that she'd be reunited with them and kept it so she could give it to Tash even though it brings back memories of Helena... "and what we did to her," when she looks at it. Michael quickly goes to hug Emilia when her emotions get the better of her.

Emilia carries out some ritual to free herself of her burdens - burning pieces of paper with things written on them (hurting Lucas, abandoning Tash, loving Michael and it's my fault Helena died.) However she hears Michael calling her as she is trying to light the last one (about Helena) and it barely burns before the wind carries it off unknown to her.
Emilia re- appears a much calmer person and her smooch time with Michael is interrupted by a happy Tash coming home - her outfit has gone down a storm at Uni! When Tash retreats to her room, Emilia seeks reassurance from Michael that he is happy for her to give Tash the jacket (he is) so she admits that she can now finally let Helena go.

The piece of paper with Emilia blaming herself for Helena's death settles on the ground.
