Outside Charlie's
Peter (Toadie's boss) congratulates Toadie on his solution to the development problem. When he's gone, Lucas comes along, feeling very optimistic about the future.

Tash is practising what she'd say to her aunt on the phone. She doesn't really know what to say and finally flops down on the sofa, fed up.

Sonya comes to call for Jade - they're going out for a birthday breakfast. Sonya asks how Kyle is and Jade gets stressed out. Sonya says she doesn't want Kyle to hate her. Jade reminds Sonya that she has a great life with Toadie and Callum and she should forget what anyone else thinks.

Later, Sonya is cleaning up when Callum comes in. Callum says he's still working on his present for Sonya. Sonya sits down and asks Callum gently what he thinks about expanding their family.

SONYA: I didn't know your Dad was going to announce it to everyone, but we have been talking about it. How do you feel about it? You know, if it happened.
CALLUM: I haven't really been thinking about it, you know, I've just kind of been getting used to it being the three of us again.
SONYA: Yeah, me too.
CALLUM: What about you guys getting married?
SONYA: Oh, nice try!
CALLUM: Worth a shot!
SONYA: I mean, we're not going to rush into anything. If, and when, it does happen, you know...I don't want you to feel like you're being replaced.
CALLUM: As if! Look, let me think about it, and I'll get back to you.
SONYA: Yeah, you do that.

Tash is still brooding when Chris comes in. He tells her to get on with it, but Tash says she doesn't know what to say. She's worried that Emilia will hang up on her, or what she'll say to her if she doesn't - and she doesn't know what Emilia is like, she might be a horrible person. Chris says it doesn't really matter - even if she blanks Tash, it's not a personal reflection on Tash - she doesn't even know her!

Sonya tells Toadie that she's spoken to Callum about having a baby and he's going to think about it. Sonya says that maybe they could speed things up with the baby when the development settles down, but Toadie says that's unlikely. He shows Sonya the plan.

SONYA: You're going to buy out our friends' businesses for a car park!?
TOADIE: They'll be compensated...
SONYA: Oh, that's alright then(!) I can't even believe that you're considering this!
TOADIE: I don't have a choice!
SONYA: Jarrod, these are our friends!
TOADIE: Yeah, I know! I know that, but I don't have a choice, do I?

Tash finally calls Emilia's work, but she's with a client. Tash makes an appointment instead - for a beauty appointment - with Emilia. She gives her name as Christine Pappas(!)

Chris giggles.

Sonya tells Toadie she can't support him. Toadie points out that their friends will be compensated, but Sonya says it's messing with people's lives, and their friends will hate them.

TOADIE: Alright, you tell me what to do, you tell me how to act...
SONYA: I don't know, I DON'T KNOW, but I want you to find a way, Toadie! Please!

Harold's Store
Lucas and Chris come in. Tash is waiting for the salon to ring her back with a time for her beauty appointment. Lucas tells Tash that he'll pop around tonight to see Michael about school stuff - he's been off surfing an awful lot lately.

Sonya is reading Toadie's birthday card to her and looking sad. Callum comes in with Sonya's birthday present and a homemade card. The present is a load of work vouchers for him to do chores around the house. Callum is shocked that Toadie has gone into work on Sonya's birthday, and hopes that it won't always be like this. Callum asks if they'll try to have the baby when things settle down.

SONYA: Why, have you thought about what we talked about before?
CALLUM: Yeah. You should.
SONYA: Yeah?
CALLUM: Yeah. There you go, there's another present!
SONYA: Thank you.
CALLUM: Do you want a cuppa?
SONYA: That'd be lovely.

He takes one of the work vouchers off Sonya's pile and heads off to the kitchen.

Charlie's
Peter tells Toadie that the developers have accepted Toadie's solution, they just have to work out the finer details of the money. Toadie tells Peter that they need to offer above market value on the businesses so that the development isn't held up. Peter isn't sure, but Toadie is adamant this is the only way.

Grease Monkeys
Toadie is sitting outside having a cup of coffee and looking over at Lucas and Chris working on a car. He thinks about Sonya's words and heads off.

Sonya's garden
Toadie comes to see Sonya and tells her that their friends *are* important, but they have to put themselves first. He tells her that he's making sure that Lucas and Kyle will be really looked after financially. They have a bit of a hug and a kiss, telling each other that they love each other.

The salon rings with an appointment for Tash at the salon for 3.30am tomorrow.

Sun sets, the full moon rises (on the rest of the planet it's a crescent moon...but hey ho)...and we find ourselves at...

Sonya comes around to see Jade and tells her she's decided to take her advice.

Charlie's
Toadie and Callum are waiting for Sonya. Lucas is also there.

Sonya tells Jade that she wants to have a baby as soon as possible.

Charlie's
Toadie tells Lucas that his job is very stressful - if anything else comes up, he thinks he might go under.

(Later)

Toadie, Sonya and Callum are finishing their meal. Sonya looks happily at Toadie and Callum and flashes back to a few recent events (the negative pregnancy test, Callum calling her "mum" and so on)

When Callum is in the toilet, Toadie thanks Sonya for her support lately.

SONYA: I don't think I want to wait.
TOADIE: For dessert?
SONYA: No, the three- year plan...I want us to have a baby!

Unfortunately Toadie's phone rings at the moment and he has to answer it because it's Peter. Sonya looks sad.

Tomorrow on Neighbours
- Toadie asking Sonya if she really wants to have a baby right now. She says she thinks now is the right time.
- Karl is delighted that Sonya and Toadie are going to "start trying".
- Sonya consults Rhys about conceiving.
- Sonya and Toadie kissing.
- Sophie is upset about Noah.
- Sophie kicks a can of paint over on Summer's foot.
