This week on Neighbours
Libby weighing up what to do.
Chris telling Tash that she needs to suffer before things can get better.
Mark confirming that its 100% over with Kate and himself.
Toadie telling Sonya she has to do the right thing and leave.
And finally we have new titles today! First up is Jade and Kyle in the pool (replacing Kate/Declan); Lucas, Toadie and Michael still having a BBQ; Kate and Chris playing with the waterguns (replacing Andrew/Zeke); Karl and Susan on the sofa with Audrey; Paul and Andrew playing chess (replacing Paul/Rebecca); Summer and Natasha still in the pool; Lou and Lyn as previous and also as previous Callum and Sophie playing cricket but a new one of Libby and Sonya with them blowing bubbles instead of the table shot.
Previously on Neighbours
Mark the neat freak moving into messy #30.
Summer not prepared to listen to Andrew.
Ramsay Street
Sonya returns from a run and spots Toadie coming out of his house to collect his paper. She makes eye contact with him but he doesn't return her friendly smile although at least he doesn't look angry.
Number 30
Mark hesitantly removes the clothes/towels that are strewn all over the sofa so he can sit down and eat some cereal, being forced to eat it out of a large plastic bowl because there is no clean plates. He volunteers to tidy up for Toadie but he rejects the offer but does suggest to Mark that he may wish to have something else for brekkie... as he found weevils in the cereal a couple of days ago! Mark quickly drops the spoon into the bowl before upchucking what he's just eaten into it!
Harold's Store
Chris and Tash are having a moaning session while waiting for their orders about having to be up so early in the morning during the holidays for a study day at the Uni. Tash also moans too about it being English and doesn't seem to appreciate that Summer is looking forward to the day and doing more Shakespeare!
"Who needs English when you'll probably be in jail by the time you are 21," Summer sarcastically says out loud after Andrew replies to Chris' question that he isn't going to the Uni study day.
Summer's bedroom
We see a very new bedroom to the one previously, the "industrial" look according to Chris. The pair of them chat about Andrew/Tomas while she hunts for an adaptor and she confirms Chris' question that yes, she has written Andrew off forever.
Lassiters Complex
Andrew reports to his dad that breakfast won't be too long when he joins him at a table.
Paul spots Lucas passing and calls him over to quiz him about Mark (he thought he was dating Kate again) but Lucas confirms, much to Paul's bemusement, that Mark has moved in with Toadie.
Paul finally cracks after Andrew is slow to open up to him (he sensed something was up) to tell him to ignore Summer and to concentrate on himself, reminding him that he is a Robinson!
Eden University
Emily the tutor introduces herself to Tash, Chris and Summer (as well as a few silent extra's) and just as they get underway to discuss Atonement, they get a newcomer - Andrew. He really seems to be engaging with the session as we fast forward a wee bit, much to Summer's annoyance before Emily decides its time for lunch.
As the trio pack up, Tash admits she is surprised to see Andrew there and adds that it's obvious he is out to impress Summer, even if she isn't appreciative of it.
The trio head for lunch after Andrew knocked back Chris' offer to join then, and he looks on wistfully as Summer passes him to exit the room. Likewise she does the same just prior to going through the door.
Eden University
Commercial break later and Andrew is first back from lunch. Emily goes up to introduce herself since Andrew missed it earlier and likewise he introduces himself to her. It rather looks like she has the hots for him as they discuss mutual friends (Alicia) before chatting about his post- school plans (he fancies taking a gap year).
Sum and Chris head back after lunch and spot what is going on in the classroom and Andrew continues to look at Sum despite chatting to Emily.
(Later)
Andrew joins the trio to work on a task. Tash is having trouble with it, so Andrew volunteers to go and ask Emily for help and Tash immediately spots that the pair of them have the hots for each other. Chris tries to get them to focus on the task but Tash is more focused on the chat and remarks that coming to Uni is the only place that Andrew's reputation as a total loser doesn't go before him!
Sum decides she has had enough and marches up to Andrew (and Emily) to inform him that what he is doing won't make her jealous. He pleads his innocent and she goes one step further in telling him that he is a "manipulative creep!" Andrew calls her bluff by asking why she is standing there and it looks like Sum wishes the ground would open up and swallow her! Sum then tells Emily that she can't work like this but Andrew takes the wind out of her sails and says he will work alone.
Number 30
Toadie undoes all Mark's hard work in tidying up #30 trying to find a clients file and isn't impressed at Mark suggesting he'd find things easier if he kept the place tidy and replies that he needs to quickly adjust to the more relaxed environment of the house!
Eden University
The trio are onto the last question but Andrew is one step ahead of them and hands in his paper to Emily. Chris dispatches himself ask if Andrew wants to join them (no) and to make it clear he is on nobody's side too. Andrew is cool with that last bit before he leaves the session.
Charlie's/Lassiters Complex
Toadie moans to Lucas about Mark over lunch. Likewise, over a coffee, Mark moans to Lucas about how bad Toadie is. Neither thinks they can live with the other but Lucas thinks that the pair of them can be good for each other in light of the Toadie/Sonya split (Lucas reckons Toadie needs another guy mate around the house). "Can you get over yourself and just give it a go?" he pleads with Mark.
Eden University
Emily wraps up the class and Tash is still making sarcastic comments, so much so that Chris decides he's heard enough and asks if she wants to have friends again! She cites that she is just mucking around and Sum confirms that Andrew and herself won't be friends again - she got what she was after, and asks her to leave it. "Fine," Tash replies before hurriedly grabbing her stuff and leaving.
Charlie's veranda
Paul is impressed to see Andrew studying in the holiday and he in turn tells his dad about signing up to the study session at Uni and that the tutor was impressed.
Eden University
Sum confides in Chris that Andrew's actions got to her, and admits that she was jealous of Emily and Andrew talking. "So you still like him?" Chris asks and after a pause she replies "maybe, but its never going to go anywhere."
SUMMER: I can't like someone that I don't respect and I do not respect Andrew. So I'm just going to have to get over it myself because its never going to happen. We're done.
Charlie's
Mark and Toadie kiss and make up before sharing a beer together. Toadie brings up Lucas' intervention in getting them to be housemates but Toadie doesn't want the D&M with Mark and both are happy to say "cheers" to that one!
Number 30
Toadie and Mark are discussing pizzas (they are ordering one for supper) when Toadie goes to answer the door and comes back in holding a large box sent from Aunt Robyn. He quickly opens it to see the contents and discovers that its stuff from Great Gran's house for Callum that GG wanted him to have - some family stuff, some things of Callum's and some things of his mothers.
MARK: Its just stuff mate.
TOADIE: No, this is more that just stuff; this is Callum's connection to his mum.
Ramsay Street/Number 30 garage
Toadie carries the box out of #30 but seems to loose his nerve and does a 180, putting the box into the garage and covering it up with a rug to make sure it isn't found.
Number 30
And after the final commercial break we return to find Toadie in dreamland - and Callum finding the box before going straight over to Sonya's outstretched and welcoming arms. We then hear Sonya saying that Callum is her son, not his, before the two of them ignore Toadie shouting out 'Callum' as they happily make their way down Ramsay Street.
Toadie is relieved that nobody seems to have heard him shout out "Callum" when he suddenly wakes up from his dream. However, a few seconds later, Callum rushes through to ask if he is okay (he is) as his attention was drawn with Toadie repeatedly calling out his name. Toadie replies that it was just a dream and tells Cal to go back to bed but he ignores that instruction and instead sits down on the sofa with his dad and asks if it was a bad dream. "No," he replies and then lies about the dream and this time Cal does head back to bed.
Tomorrow on Neighbours
Chris suggestion that Tash needs her own kind of atonement (getting Sum and Andrew together).
Tash putting that plan into action.
Chris quizzing Summer.
Susan dishing out advice.
Sophie putting in her tuppenceworth.
Sonya spending time with Callum.
And as the titles go up, it looks like there is a new addition to the cast - Chris Pappas: James Mason.
