Tash tells Summer to be honest with her.
Rebecca and Lyn hatching a plot to get Paul to stop bribing Lyn.
Paul telling Lyn to get out of his house.
Rebecca saying that Lyn begged her to invite her to dinner.
Number 32
Lyn is hovering whilst Michael is trying to do some school work. He tells her to stop, but she won't, so he switches the hoover off for her. He tells her that she doesn't need clean to pay her way - she and her family are welcome to stay. Paul knocks on the door and storms in, yelling at Lyn that she took advantage of Bec's good nature. Mike steps in and demands that Paul leave. He complies, but Lyn can't face talking to Mike and goes to clean the bathroom.
The next morning Lyn is dusting the lounge, and Michael thanks her for making breakfast. He asks her why she's upset but she says nothing. Charlie runs in and Lyn takes him for brekkie. Summer is up, too, but she's not wanting breakfast, and Tash appears, looking for something. Summer tells her to check the floor in the bedroom.
Michael rushes out to work and Lyn insists that Summer and Tash take some wraps to eat on the way to school.
Ramsay Street
Outside number 22 Rebecca and Declan are going to work. Rebecca confides that she may have made things worse with Lyn and Paul. Over the road Tash and Summer are on their way to school, and Lyn's putting rubbish out. Rebecca comes over to her and apologises for what happened last night; Lyn realises that Paul doesn't do backing down. She adds that Paul came over last night and threatened her, and now she's got to live with the consequences.
Harold's Store
Michael is thanking Karl for helping out at careers day at the school that day - and Karl says he'll talk for 45 minutes. That wasn't quite what Michael had in mind. They rush out the door, and Summer asks Lyn how long they'll be at number 32; she knows it will be a while but wants to know how and when things will be happening. Lyn says it will be some time which disappoints Summer.
Erinsborough School
Michael has told Karl and Toadie that they have ten minutes each - short and sharp! Karl thinks he might be able to pare back his talk a *little*! He'd also like to know about the free lunch...
Tash goes into the careers class to save seats whilst Andrew chats to Summer - he's not going to wait any longer than next week, he's going to tell her. Sum reminds him that she's got to share a room with Tash and until then he can't tell her the truth.
Harold's Store
Paul is waiting for Rebecca who turns up, wondering what's going on. He wants them to have a coffee and watch Lyn squirm. Rebecca isn't comfortable with the idea and when Paul goes to tell Mark Brennan (at the next table) about Lyn's role in the fire, Rebecca announces that she invited Lyn over for dinner: she knew about the blackmail.
Number 22
Paul is furious with Rebecca, so she lashes out and him and tells him that Lyn is afraid of him and she understands how she feels. Paul is surprised that Rebecca would be scared of him, and she can't believe that this is news to him. She tells him how much he controls her, and how much Declan has changed since they've been there.
Paul insists that he's still the man she loved, and that they can get back to the way they were. Rebecca says they can't: he's not the only one who's changed. She sobs that she's not the same woman anymore.
She tells him that he'll destroy everything around him. She didn't succeed in making him a better man. But he dragged her down to his level. Paul is left gutted.
Erinsborough School
In the classroom Toadie has finished his talk, Karl is looking bored and upstaged. Mark Brennan arrives to give his chat, too. Karl gives him advice to not tell jokes, but Michael says he should. Mark ignores them - he's done this sort of thing before and knows what he's doing.
The kids come back to the classroom after grabbing some food. Tash is all happy about living with Summer, so Sum tries to point out the annoying things about living together, like Lyn being overbearing, or Charlie being loud. But Tash thinks Charlie's cute, and Lyn's cooking is great!
Cut to later and Brennan finishes his speech. The kids applaud. Karl is upset that the kids like Mark, that he talked about guns, and that his hands were cuffed as part of the presentation. Mark uncuffs Karl as Michael tells the kids that the next speaker is late. Karl suggests he could cover - he could talk about his life as a musician. Mark agrees - Karl's really good!
However, Jim Dolan turns up to talk about being a builder, and Karl's dreams of talking more are shattered. Summer's interest is piqued when Jim arrives, and she asks questions about how long it would take to rebuild a house after a fire. She seems pleased to hear that it might only take a month to fix, and Tash is clearly put out.
Charlie's
Declan arrives to collect lunch from his mum. Paul also turns up, and he and Rebecca face off over the counter. Lyn comes in for her milk invoice, shies away from Paul, the spots Andrew and Tash having drinks. She asks them how careers day is going.
Rebecca pointedly says that Andrew's on the mend. Oh, and persecuting Lyn really isn't helping. There's no shame in forgiveness. Paul is struck by her words.
Harold's Store
Over at the coffee house having drinks are Karl, Toad and Brennan. Karl thinks he got through to some of the kids, as did Toadie, but Lyn tells them that the kids really liked Mark!
Paul turns up to see Lyn and announces that she can stop worrying. He won't say anything. But he still knows what she did, and he won't forget.
Charlie's
Over in the bar Paul tells Rebecca that she was right - Andrew is his priority and going after Lyn doesn't help with that. Rebecca is cautiously pleased and they agree to have dinner that evening. As Paul leaves Rebecca looks sad.
Erinsborough School
Lyn turns up at school as Summer called her. Summer introduces her to Jim Dolan and explains that Jim says it might only take a month to fix up their house. Jim tells her that he had a job fall through, and can't get more work before starting this next one, so he has two months. If he draws up a quote and Lyn agrees, then he'll knock a bit off the price. Lyn concedes to look at a quote.
Harold's Store
Summer tells Tash and Andrew, and she's thrilled. Andrew's also really pleased for her, whilst Tash isn't so happy.
Lyn is on the phone behind the counter, with Toadie and Karl listening into her conversation. She tells the guys that the bank has knocked her back for the loan to rebuild. Summer comes over and asks about the call - and is devastated to hear the news.
Cut to later and Lyn is trying to pacify Summer. Karl and Toadie explain to Declan what's happened, and they all decide that they should rally round and help out.
Over at the table, Tash is angry that Summer's so keen to move out and that Andrew is sticking up for her. Andrew tells Tash that he wants Summer out of Tash's room as soon as he can.
