The Ks turn up and tell Lyn, Lucas and Summer that Libby has left a note to say she thinks she knows where Steph is - and she's gone to find her. Libby's not answering her phone. Lyn thinks this is good news, but Karl reminds her that Libby really is very angry. Susan tries to calm it down, but now Lyn's stressed about it.
Motel
Libby sits on a sofa whilst Steph stands by the bed, and Libby asks her friend if she meant the things written in the letter. Angry, Steph shouts that of course she meant it, before demanding that Libby leave. Libby says she needs to hear it from Steph - she owes her that much. Steph disagrees, she doesn't owe Libby anything anymore: she's paid over and over, whilst Lib ignored her for eight weeks. Steph demands that Lib leaves again.
STEPH: I don't want you here!
LIBBY: Then throw me out.
Number 28
The Ks muse on the Libby and Steph situation when Donna returns home with a gift bag - it's her and Ringo's one month anniversary today! Ringo appears from the bedrooms, and Donna cutely gives him his anniversary present, which makes the Ks all soppy. Ringo then awkwardly has to tell his wife that he hasn't got her anything, and so Karl and Susan make a quick exit...!
Ringo apologises, saying he's been busy, and Donna bravely says it's fine, although she's pretty crushed! Ringo suggests they do something really nice together later then gives her a cuddle.
Number 24
Donna tells Kate and Sophie about the one month anniversary being forgotten, so this must mean the honeymoon's over - the glow is wearing off.
DONNA: We're moving past the exciting stage and moving into the comfy bit. I might as well start stacking on the weight and wearing track pants all the time.
Kate reminds Donna that Ringo adores her, and she's being stupid and insecure! Donna just doesn't want to take Ringo for granted - they're lucky they've found each other. Still, she needs chocolate.
Harold's Store
Ringo turns up and sees Kate and Sophie - who tells him that Donna thinks the honeymoon's over. Ringo's pleased, because he actually has a surprise for her, and he wants her to think he's forgotten about the anniversary! Kate wonders if Donna will like this surprise, but Ringo's convinced she'll love it.
At the counter he asks Lyn for the cupcakes he ordered - but Lyn forgot to bake them, she's been too busy. She recommends a baker across town, but it's an hour's drive. Annoyed, Ringo asks Kate for her help...
The Motel
Libby lies on the sofa and Steph sits on the bed, Libby too stubborn to leave, and Steph refusing to talk. Finally Steph gets angry: she bent over backwards to be a good friend to Libby, being there when Drew died, through Darren, listened and cried when the babies died...years and years of friendship. Dan was a mistake, for one moment, in all those years. She tried to make it up to her. She lied, she made her friends lie and her mum, and she knows it was wrong. She even gave away her baby.
STEPH: I've got nothing left to give. But if you still want something from me then you just go for it.
Libby says nothing, but walks up to her friend and gives her an awkward hug which Steph doesn't really return.
Number 22
Dec sits at the kitchen bench whilst Zeke is about to get a high score on a computer game. Ringo turns the computer off. He needs someone to keep Donna busy so he can go buy cupcakes.
ZEKE: You killed my game for cupcakes.
RINGO: It's our one month wedding anniversary.
ZEKE: Oh, one month...I DON'T CARE! What's next, are you going to wearing a skirt and lipstick?!
RINGO: Woah woah woah! Can you help or not?!
DECLAN: Zeke's right, mate! That's pretty sad.
Declan offers to drive Ringo whilst Zeke says he'll keep Donna busy at Kate has other stuff to do, and is going across town with Ringo and Dec.
The Motel
The girls sit on the sofa, and Steph says she knows Libby coming here was a big deal. Libby admits that she was at rock bottom after the babies died, and then losing Dan. And then when she found out Steph was pregnant...
STEPH: Just say it.
LIBBY: And there was a part of me that hated you for having something that I wanted to badly. A baby. A husband that adored you. And then when I found out the baby was Dan's... Of all the people in my life who have let me down, I never expected you to betray me. And the lies...I, I felt like you were all laughing at me. And I'd lost everything. My husband, my babies, Toadie...and you. You. The one person I thought I could always rely on.
They both cry into tissues and Libby apologises for having to say what she said.
Number 28
Susan's on the phone to Lyn who's obviously worried about Steph and Lib. She puts the phone down when Ringo, Dec and Zeke arrive, and Ringo announces he has to go out and help Dec with an errand, so they'll have to reschedule their afternoon. Zeke offers to hang out with Donna instead. She reluctantly agrees. Zeke and Donna leave and the Ks cotton on to Ringo's romantic planning.
Harold's Store
Zeke and Donna arrive for cake and milkshake. There's a note on the table from Ringo! The note tells her to go to the footbridge by the lake, and Donna suddenly realises that there's a plan, and Ringo didn't forget after all!
Summer, also at the shop, tries to call Libby.
The Motel
Libby asks Steph if she really gave Adam away to make it up to her. Steph says she didn't - this was Dan's only chance to have a child and it made sense. Libby has picked up a blanket Adam was wrapped in, and Steph snaps at her to put it back; she doesn't want to talk about the baby any more.
Libby pushes her: is Steph having second thoughts? Does she want Adam back? Steph finally yells that she doesn't deserve Adam, and he's better off with Dan. And perhaps Charlie should be taken away, too, she's no good for them.
Steph puts on her leather jacket, grabs her helmet and heads out onto her bike, upset and distressed. Libby runs after her, calling, begging her to stop. Steph ignores her, and drives off in a hurry. She nearly hits a car on her way out on to the road.
Cut to moments later where Libby is on the phone to her mum, telling her what happened, before jumping into her car.
